Academy Scroll is a Key Item in Elden Ring. Academy Scroll can be given to a learned sorcerer to acquire new sorceries. Key Items in Elden Ring include a wide variety of items found in specific locations or are given by a related NPCs which are used to unlock areas, quests, and to further progress the game's story.
Scroll of the Academy of Raya Lucaria, the glintstone sorcerers' place of study.
Can be given to a learn sorcerer to gain access to the following sorceries:
- Great Glintstone Shard
- Swift Glintstone Shard

AnonymousFor all the talk about npcs not selling spells from scrolls, I give all scrolls and prayerbooks to Muriel pastor of vows (the turtle at church of vows) He always sells them and he never moves as far as I've seen

So far on two play throughs I’ve given this to sellen and both times she won’t sell them to me

For all you confused people, I ran around for an hour trying to figure out why Sellen wasn't selling the spells. Turns out I had already looted the scroll but had given it to turtle pope, and he sold me the spells.

Gave this to Sellen early and she refuses to teach me the 2 spells from this scroll. I'm locked out from the Swift Glintstone Shard and the Great Glintstone Shard.

Don't give the scrolls to Hyetta when she appears in the Lakes. She will progress to a new area, consuming this scroll (and any others if you give to her) not allowing you to purchase once she moves... Found out the hard way.

I kind of like swift. Its faster than pebble but does less damage.

hi guys i have a question for Astrologers, ive looted the academy scroll in lake facing cliffs and i cant find it in my invntory, and i cant go loot it again...any ideas ????

Glintstone pebble is better than both of these.
Swift is faster and about half the dmg. Great is like the exact same spell as pebble, different animation
I can't give this to brother Corhyn in the roundtable hold, is there someone else I can give it to? I tried to give it to the sorcerer to the left of the graveyard, but he wouldn't take it
