If you're gonna farm for this, and assuming you want it for your dex build, use bolt of gransax to counter-snipe them.
Speaking of the weapon itself, kinda sucks it doesn't have the albinauric's weapon skill that triples each shot. But it's a decent dex bow.

Use spinning strike art of war.
Select a halberd/spear/scythe that works well with your stat allocation. I went back and forth between pike and scythe.
Infuse with bleed or perhaps cold if your weapon choice already has bleed. Experiment a little to find out what’s most effective for your stats and gear.
This destroys the wolf and the archers effectively while also deflecting all the arrows.
Teleport back, rinse, repeat.

This will kill the wolf and each of the archers very effectively while deflecting all of their arrows while they shoot you.
Teleport back, rinse, and repeat.

I no longer feel bad about genociding Albinaurics for runes in the Moghwyn Dynasty after picking one of these up.

After dropping then losing 15 million-plus runes and 45 total minutes farming, I finally got one at discovery level 195(base plus silver tear mask plus silver fowl foot talisman). Loretta Mastery, Star Ruins, Blasphemous Blade and Bullgoat Armor had to be on deck for this run of mine coz F those albinauric archer b**ches.

**** one of the worst spammer enemies, I just lost 10mil to them trying to farm this

kek. does not even provide you with range over pulley. what a ****ing joke
Pulley bow has 309 total AR with 50 str+50 dex. Albinauric bow has 308 total AR with 20 str+80 dex. Ofcourse pulley bow has the extra range, both bows are viable depending on your build. A bow build should be complimented with blue dancer charm, arrow sting talisman, ritual sword talisman, and the spear talisman. For even higher optimisation, wielding radahn's great bow (I think its called lion great bow) in your offhand for the 20% radahn spear bonus damage, with golem great bow in your main hand as the damage dealer is the way to go. Swap Blue dancer charm for alexander/warrior jar shard. Matched with rallying standard buff+your choice of body buff - exalted flesh or bkoodboil aromatic, even FGS if you want the 15 faith for support incants. I was doing this at 50 str+50 dex, but the softcap for str on golem great bow is higher than 50, so perhaps use the str crystal tear in wondrous physick. I hope this helps someone, just done a bow playthrough was lots of fun! -Pharris Hood

If anyone wants one, I can give you one XD. Farmed hella and got like 15 of them

Is it a b***h to grind? Yes, absolutely. Is it ultimate not worth it because I'm never going to need a bow to draw aggro? Yup, nailed it on the head. Do I simply not care, because JESUS, have you SEEN this bow? You're goddamned right.

I started my journey looking for a bow.
Now I hate crippled people

Finishing weapon cleanup on a playthrough and I get to this bow.
Open the link on the weapons page, scroll down to see where to get it, see Albinauric Wolfback Archers in the Consecrated Snowfields, say audibly to myself, "...****."
Bet this is going to be fun.

Dude I got this thing in like 5 tries. I'm so ****ing happy. Seeing all these comments I'm gonna go buy a lottery ticket lmao!!
Got one on first kill with 256 discovery. Thank god because these things are stupid hard to fight as a strength build on journey 2.

Use the beast-repellent torch for farming this, the wolves will ignore you. However you will remain stuck in combat, but the grace isn't too far to just hop on torrent back. Much better than fighting the wolves with these archers every time.
Easiest and safest way I've found to farm the bow and set so far:
1: start at the ordina town site of grace
2: look at the first notch left of south
3: head straight, there will be a seated archer with two regular wolves sleeping besides her. Make sure you don't aggro the archers to her left (wait for her to turn around) and the archer on the path to her right (not straying too far right should prevent this)
4: kill the wolf in front of her first, the 2nd behind her will be killed as you hit her if you are quick enough.
5: put some music on and prepare for the grind.

this would actually be a contender for the black bow if there was a way to get it earlier in the game
- Anonymous
Was lucky to get this (though I still came out of it looking like a pin cushion form getting machine gunned from their arrows) some reason I like its looks even though other bows do a better job at sniping.

I'm not sure how to feel about the design of this bow. On the one hand I like the metalwork, and on the other it appears to have been strung backwards. This is what the more extremely curved reflex bows look like when unstrung.
- Anonymous
Is this the best bow in the game? Not including great bows and short bows…
- Anonymous
I don't think farming these enemies for this bow is worthwhile, but seeing as not everyone has the INT to use a comet or meteorite sorcery to melt them, what should STR, DEX or FTH builds use to melt through these f**kers from a safer range? anything? or nothing?
- Anonymous
It's a shame we can't get the magic triple shot the enemies have with this as an AoW, but Enchanted Shot with Dwelling Arrows comes pretty close to it
- Anonymous
oh boy i get to farm enemies with absurdly high health and attacks best compared to that of a military firing squad
- Anonymous
Highest damage bow that doesn't use Somber stones. Horn and Erdtree bows look like they have higher damage but split damage results in lower damage numbers in practice. Pulley bow is highest overall at plus 10, but about the same at +9 vs this at +24.
- Anonymous
The scaling on this is deceptive,it's practically C scaling on Dex, at 60Str/62Dex Longbow +24 does 191+108 with D/D scaling, while this at +24 does 196+118 despite showing E/D scaling

Why in the flaming hells would Fromsoft make the enemy that drops this bow, be someone who rides a highly aggressive wolf and can pepper you with arrows faster then you can die from Waterfowl Dance
- Anonymous
if only this bow had the complete bull**** range that the npc archers get
Is this a first time drop? Does anyone have more than 1? Dropped from first rider but i died and had no fresh save so i contined on. maybe 8 hours scouring cnsecrated, don't want to do it all over. I hope it is farmablr, many people say they got it thie3r first drop i why I'm worried.

every other Albinauric weapon gets S scaling in arcane, but somehow this has no arcane scaling at all, and even has worse str/dex scaling than the basic longbow with only 4 points of extra base damage? Pretty disappointing for what's basically an endgame weapon
- Anonymous
"Requires dexterity over strength to master". Yes, you and virtually every other longbow. You'd think that this would scale with arcane, being an Albinauric weapon who are very consistently associated with arcane... but no, I'm sure dex builds didn't have quite enough near-identical bows to choose from.

The best friend of dex players. It has a lot of damage and is able to use ashes of war, so why not?
- Anonymous
If you’re wondering if bows are actually viable, you should look up CapnHarland on Tik Tok. Dude is killing it with bows! I know he uses Albinauric bow a lot
- Anonymous
Anyone know if you can shoot the double shot magic arrows that they use on the roof tops?? We need this !
I miss the triple shot crossbow in ds3 Dx that would be fun with bleed arrows

Best dex bow for damage since you can put rain of arrows on it.
- Anonymous
best long bow as you can use any arrows with maximum dmg they can gives, like erdbow buffs holy arrow but sucks on any other or horn bow with magic arrow, so definitely worth collecting.
- Anonymous
Why does Fromsoft hate bow / crossbows so much? I was really hoping to be able to use the magical looking bows that the enemies use, they look really cool and have awesome sound design, and would have made for a really cool magic archer type build... but for some reason we just get this instead, just another generic bland bow

Slightly better than the longbow and can have ashes unlike the black bow, bows are so weird in this game
- Anonymous
noob question: It says you can enchant this with magic, how?
- Anonymous
Bullshit how it doesn’t have the same ability as the ones in Ordina.
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
You don't need to enter the Evergaol to farm this. South of Ordina, Liturgical Town there are 3 archers and 3 wolf-riding archers who can all drop this. They're fun to fight btw
- Anonymous
You know how nice it would be if From finally put in a viable long bow into the PvP scene? Have this bow be able to shoot normally, and then have 2 phantom arrows fire off from it just like the NPCs do. I think that might give it some actual gas rather than just a meme weapon class you occasionally throw on to pick off some PvE mobs with.

D scaling in dex at +25 and pathetic raw damage. Absolutely don't recommend.
Why/how does Latenna's spirit shoot homing arrows when using this bow?
- Anonymous
South-west from Ordina sitting two archers on the rocks with some wolves.
Got the bow on the first try so i think its not a rare drop.
Its faster as hunting those riders.
- Anonymous
Why are longbows always dex focused? It's a freaking longbow, if your pull is garbage you won't do any damage with it...
- Anonymous
The bow also drops from the archers around the city of Ordina, way faster farming method: there is 3 of them on foot + one on a wolf

yeah the wolf riders in the snowfields, got it after the first kill by some luck :)
confirmed. Drops from albinauric wolfback riders can be farmed along with their armor. has E str scaling and D dex scaling. on +18 still the same scaling
