not gonna lie. i let him win once before i beat him. he deserves the freebie.

alexander likely fought and absorbed both radahn and the fire giant, both extremely powerful entities, and probably absorbed plenty more enemies that the tarnished beat, like the godskin duo. as such, giving this to jar-bairn would make him one of the most powerful beings in the lands between

I was really sad up until Alexander exploded, I bursted into laughter after that. Rest in piece my friend, you died a warriors death.

i dont know if this is intentional, but this didnt go to NG+ for me. dont know if this was a bug or if it was supposed to happen.

If you completely skip Hoslow's part in the quest line you can still give Alexander's innards to Jar Bairn after he talks about the poachers. He'll disappear after you rest at the grace and then he'll be gone and in his place will be the companion jar talisman.
(alex ****ing shatters)
"yeah ill take these, seems like a nice souvenir"

Pointing out that victory only rewards the Shard of Alexander, you do not get both talismans. It's correct on his questline page but not on here, just mentioning to prevent conflicting info.

Looking at the image it looks like a gonad is mixed in there(a testicle or ovary). Looks more like an ovary to me.

Talked to him at festival. Beat the game, cause I didn’t know he was behind me at Rahdans. I went back to do his quest. Talked to him at the Rahdan pit - exhausted all dialog. Then talked to him at Mt Gelmir - exhausted all dialog. Then he moved to Lurnia. Unstuck him with oil pot - exhausted all dialog. Then instead of going to Farum he oddly goes back to his Rahdan pit consumes bodies repeating the same dialog over and over again. “Alright lads, I’m going to take you on a little journey. You’ll all be inside me and apart of me. We’re all in this together, so let’s all of us dream big.”
This basically stalls/stops the Jar-Bairn quest from being completed also, as you can not give her the innards.

Alexander's questline is bugged. Some say if you skip him in Limgrave, he will never leave Radahn's arena. Blocking two quests from being completed. Anyone know a fix?
- Anonymous
Does the innards red hair are a reference to Radian or miqiella??
- Anonymous
Can you get this before Farum Azula, like killing him during his questline ? pot build looks fun
- Anonymous
When I met alexander at liurnia, I used the oil pot then whacked on him till he popped out of the ground, I then proceeded to hit humpty till he was in pieces rewarding me with this item, so no need to do the whole quest unless theres another reward?????
Contrary to some of the text above, the village does NOT need to be "attacked by poachers" to complete the quest. Simple exhaust Biarn's dialogue, use the site of grace, rinse and repeat until you get the option to hand him Alexander's Innard's, use the site of grace again after exhausting dialogue, and the Companion Jar will be lootable from the spot where Biarn was originally sitting (after it leaves Jarburg).

can you still kill him for his whip while in the jar village? I though I missed the chance at getting 2 hoslow whips in one playthrough since he left the manor after rykard was defeated.

Used to be cut content but i guess we noiced it was and they felt like re-adding it. Or the NPC step was broken
- Anonymous
Not cut. Just got added in this new patch an hour ago. New npc, jar bairn and diallos. Someone update please
- Anonymous
OMG bug is fixed!!! The little jar who has the dialogues appeared today!!!

NEW PATCH NOTES AND THEY ADDED A JAR NPC I THINK THIS QUESTS HAS BEEN FIXED
- Anonymous
Content was cut. It was supposed to be given to a smaller pot in jarburg, and there was supposed to be an invasion of Jarburg by somebody, and Diallos was supposed to appear there and fix the jars and says he has found purpose in life instead of being totally lost. ( most of these come from data mining conversations, some from the internet test version)

By the looks of it, the quest is probably cut content or is bugged after fighting Alexander. Hopefully they'll address this or it could end up in an upcoming dlc.
Have any y'all'm'st've tried going to the spot in limgrave next to stormveil castle where you pick up the invasion items? I have no idea if that building becomes accessible or not but knowing fromsoft I wonder if we need to retrace our steps with this item because you first meet Alexander somewhat closeby to that little fort with no entry

Has anyone tried bringing it to the area where you fight Mogh in Moghwyn before killing him. Could trigger a lord of blood ending.
Is it possible that this is linked to the last ritual pot? Would (sorta) make sense if you'd get the last one from a jar.

man I thought I could give that to that big jar in caelid and he'd let me pass in to the arena thing. Sadly not the case either. As far as I know there are 3 of these arenas and all of them seem unenterable
- Anonymous
say what you want but they need to add a dlc, where you turn him into a summon spirit, then he can fight with you forever.
- Anonymous
CURRENTLY CUT/BUGGED CONTENT: You would take these to one of the little jars in Jarburg (has dialogue specifically referencing you giving them the Innards and referring to an "Uncle Alexander")
- Anonymous
Hmm it says the stuff is "inherited". Maybe you can pass it on to someone?
Would be hilarious if there was a "Jar ending"
- Anonymous
"Yes, please I can read them. Your fingers, please, your fingers...Oh, bless you. Oh..ohhh! Miquella's favour can be yours.
Slaughter, slaughter, slaughter... The all-hearing slaughtered, but alas, it was for naught.
But all you need do, is snatch it from the big pot. Pity the poor, poor fool!".
Maybe the true innards were the friends we killed along the way.

Datamine shows there is cut content with diallos and a certain area called the jar village, as of current there is no use for this item
- Anonymous
this must have a use but i doubt its used to progress some type of quest maybe just a cool ending where you revive him ?

https://i.imgur.com/EkCWuQG.jpeg Really hoping for this option \O/. Maybe in pvp focused dlc? Cause those coliseums are not active yet

Idk if anyone has tried this but has anyone tried to go to the arena where the massive jar is in Caelid? I’m going to try this play through and I’ll continue to look around. Will let everyone know!
- Anonymous
This seems Elden Ring's "Yharnam Stone" equivalent from Bloodborne
- Anonymous
Could it be ralated to the arenas in stormhill or north Caelid? Maybe it grants the access. An hint could be the description of the spirit of the pot man.

The finger reader near South Raya Lucaria Gate grace says "Miquella's favour can be yours... slaughter, slaughter, slaughter..... The all hearing slaughtered, but alas, it was for naught. But all you need do, is snatch it from the big pot! Pity the poor, poor fool" No new dialogue when you have the innards
- Anonymous
It's a Damn Shame it had to end like this. I loved that Warrior Jar, he truly was a Chad...
- Anonymous
There is a chance that it is somehow related to the supposed unknown ending. A finger-maiden in Raya Lucaria makes mention of Miquella's favor being obtained from what is within the big pot.

I wonder if this can be put into an empty jar to bring him back in a new vessel?
Description is legendary. Alexander forever goated
