probably the most bloodborne garb e.r. has to offer imo. wish there were more... the page set is nice as well

i got this to drop fairly quickly. 20 mins maybe, farming the caravan directly west of the waypoint ruins in limgrave. i believe there are 4 enemies with the slender swords and hats that can drop them.

          • Anonymous

There's one soldier noble that can drop this directly South of the Rampartside Path. It's a pretty good spot if you don't want to walk much.

Ok so I have some completely anecdotal evidence that may be of help..

I was farming this coat for like... an hour, with nothing but hats and herba to show for it (already had the estoc), off the rampartside path grace. 324 discovery.

Then I appraised a couple messages on the ground, and BOOM another estoc on the next kill.

Then nothing for another 20 minutes. So I appraised a couple more messages on the ground.

And BOOM got the coat on the next kill.

Do with this info what you will. Its certainly not science, but it was my experience.

To give you an idea of how 'easily' farmable this is: I got two Noble Slender Swords and zero of this armor piece and apparently the sword has a drop rate of 0.5%.

                • Anonymous

Like every other piece of farmable equipment, it ONLY drops from enemies that actually use it. So only one can drop it by Church of Vows, only one can drop it in the Academy, etc. It looks greenish in-game and on enemies, so go after those guys.

Droprate is about comparable to Cleanrot Spear, so be patient.

Can confirm this drops from the Aristocrats wielding the gold Estoc. You can also get their hat and Estoc.

Been farming the zombies for two days now at the carriage in northern limgrave with no drop. Surely there's a better farm spot?
