Turn around from the River Bank site of grace, jump up the ledge with Torrent and head West. LITERALLY takes 2 mins.

Starting from the SIOFRA RIVER BANK grace, go NORTHWEST up some rocks, and continue until you can't, then go southwest and you should find it easy.. and yeah its more so the in-game map's fault for having zero depth, but it wouldve been impossible without watching a video at least

Man, I could've been NOT dealing with all that rot so easily?! I wish I found this before exploring Calied, because I definitely could have

Turn 180 degrees and jump on the ledge right next to the brick pillar (rocks on the right let you do it on foot instead of torrent)
Turn left at the gap between the brick pillar and the stone wall
There is an unlit cooking pot and the cookbook is there on a corpse

Go to siofra river Bank grace. Jump up on the rock ledge directly infront of that's about your hight. Turn left . There are 2 "spirits" guarding a corpse with a purple item, that item is this cookbook

Not a single person here explained this well at all. It is nowhere near a cliff and you don't have to jump on any pillars.

The site of grace is underground. I looked around forever before I realized Siofra River Bank is on the underground map.
                  To easily find:
1.) Pull this up on the interactive map here on the site, make sure to click everything off on the options.
2.) Click the little paper icon thingy on the top left of the screen, and swap it to underground.
3.) Then select from the box on the right: "sites of grace", and "keys" only.
4.) You should see Armorer's Cookbook [6] just southwest of the Siofra River Bank site of grace.
                  5.) Go get it.
                  6.) Make your bolluses finally
                  7.) Go to Abandoned Cave
                  8.) Summon some buddies
                  9.) Get your Gold Scarab
                  10.) Win

                  • map link location is wrong. description is plain bad.
grace location is correct. Do face south and climb on the stone.
Stay on foot, it's just behind the pillar on a dead corpse protected by a couple of easy enemies.

This one is incredibly necessary since recovery items are hard to come by and Scarlet Rot sucks a sphincter.

                      • Anonymous

From the "Siofra River Bank" grace immediately go north up the rocks and turn west. The item is pretty close.

                        • Any idea how to get it? I can see it...I think...but I don't see any access point that doesn't involve torrent and myself jumping from 500 meter.

this is incorrect. This armorer's cookbook [6] gives you the recipe for stanching boluses, not preserving.
