Great Oracular Bubble and Ambush Shard seem like great combo with this. What a coincidence.

I did some testing for several hours on about everything I could and here's the relatively small list of things I found this affects outside the bow classes
Blood Blade AoW: Small Arc increase (Not reduvia's though oddly)
Beast Roar AoW: Minimal distance increase
Spectral Lance AoW: Small distance increase
Flame Spit AoW from the one eyed shield: Largest change for this one's arc.
Kukri's: Specifically their damage falloff not their range weirdly enough, testing this I found out there was a range where you can hit an enemy and draw their agro but do 0 damage unless you are using the talisman.
Great Oracular Bubble AoW: Minimal range increase
Bubble shower AoW: I wouldn't suggest using it on this, it makes the bubbles dive down super low before moving forward so most pop on the ground, not sure exactly why or how this was the result, but I have a few ideas based on the standard movement of the bubbles
Blake Flame Incantation: This was the only incantation I could see any noticeable difference on. It was a small range increase
Ambush Shard Sorcery: Lets you cast the spell from farther away and it will still spawn the shard behind the enemy
Rock Sling Sorcery: Good range increase
Oracle Bubbles Sorcery: Minimal range increase
Great Oracle Bubble: Small range increase
Despite Bestial sling being listed on the page here I, for the life of me, could not tell even the slightest difference from using the talisman and not. Most items on here the change is so minimal in my testing there isn't much of a reason to use the talisman unless you are attempting something absurd. I did all my testing by grace warping to and using back-steps along side the compass to do repeated tests on the same enemy to make sure I could replicate the exact misses and hits with and without the talisman. Hope someone finds this stupid adventure I went on useful.

This affects the "Range" stat of projectiles, not their "Life". Projectiles that fall after a certain distance (Rock Sling, arrows) will have that range extended, while projectiles that despawn (Lightning Spear, most Sorceries/Incantations) will see no benefit.

If anyone came here about the one-eyed shield, it helps, but very little. You'll maybe get a couple explosion radiuses further if you can picture that.

Anyone know the percent increase? Does it make the things like a Pulley Crossbow go as far as a longbow?
- Anonymous
Does anyone know all the incantations it effects or more importantly if it affects the other beast spells?
- Anonymous
they mightve fixed the unexpectedly affected spells/incants etc

Also affects the One-Eyed Shield's weapon art, as well as that of the Envoy's Greathorn slightly...
Probably affects most weapon arts that fire non-slash projectiles of some kind, too.

does this get reduced in pvp? i could SWEAR my arrows dont travel as far when im fighting other players

Can anyone confirm with no room for doubt or interpretation the 'arrow's reach' talisman works with rock sling, ambush shard, great oracular bubble, bestial sling, kukri, spectral lance and beasts roar? I use spectral lance so it would be handy to know.

Can anyone confirm with certainty whether this talisman works on the ash of war on the One-Eyed Shield?
The greatshield launches a fiery MORTAR... And it'd be dope if this helped, since the ash of war's primary flaw is the heavy arc.
The projectile itself seems to have an extremely long air-time before fading, so generally it works better fired from on high...
But if this extends the reach on even ground, that'd be fantastic even at the expense of a talisman slot.

Fun fact: This talisman also increases how far in you can zoom while scoping with a Bow/Crossbow!

Saw in the Howling Starfist guide that this buffs the range of Beast's Roar. Just tested and can confirm it does (although not by much).

Does this talisman increase lock on distance or just the distance before your arrows despawn? Does it reduce arrow drop-off from gravity?

I just tested on the Great Glintstone Shard and it increases the damage by 20% or something, upvote for the fellow mages for more testing! cheers!

Who wrote that it affects Bestial Sling incantation? According to my tests - this talisman has no effect for the spell at all

For those that might have an issue just reading the instructions of where this is or they are idiots like me, use the map link. The "southwest" word really threw me off where this was when I was cleaning up my missed talismans.

So its definitely only the kukri that gets any benefit from this then yes? Seems odd it would work for one kind of throwing knife but none of the others.

Anyone test it on the Loretta's Greatbow sorcery? Or know a good location to try it?

My own testing results regarding Sorceries:
Rocksling - 30-40% increase in range
Night comet - No effect
Comet shard - No effect
Comet - No effect
Crystal torrent - No effect
Cystal barrage- No effect
Gravity well - No effect
Stars of ruin - No effect
Any spell not listed were not tested. I suspect it only increases spells which fire with a parabolic arch.

looking with Yapped rune bear at the numbers in the regulation.bin file it says it's a 65% increase

Extends the range of black flame as well, supposedly extends any spell projectile that falls vertical in the end like fire sling.

Drastically increases the range for rain of arrows AOW. Allowing constant status affliction while being outside of most bosses large AOE attacks.

essential for shortbows, I was using the plain shortbow and did tons more damage at range

Archery talisman that can boost certain sorceries. Peak Elden Ring moment.

IMO a pretty great item for Rock Sling + Meteorite Staff sorcerers due to extended range Rock Sling gets with this Talisman. Perhaps not a ultimate must have but definitely give it a try and judge for yourself

I've used it with healing spells and felt it healed from farther away, but I suspect it was just a placebo feel. It might be worth testing heals and buffs with an ally that stands still.

This has a weird effect on the bubble shower weapon art, seems to raise bubble velocity resulting in a tighter grouping of bubbles...but this made the WA harder to actually hit things with.

Works with Great Oracle Bubble - gains an extra 5m or so when charged. Seems like it effects the bubble duration.

I appreciate not having to murder any friendly giants to get this

This increases the velocity of your shots, making it easier to peg strafing enemies at a distance. Useful even before the damage falloff

Does this extend the range of the the Gransax Bolt Ash or War?

Silly question, but... does this work on throwing knives/pots?

Both this and the Arrow's Sting Talisman affect the Spectral Lance AoW.

Extends the range of Ambush Shard. Casting at maximum range will cause Ambush Shard spawning in front of the caster, but with this talisman equipped the shard hits its target. Not sure how this talisman affects other spells.

This affects ashes of war. I know enchanted shot and mighty shot are sort of pointless, but this is amazing for arrow rain. It affects the maximum range at which you will get it to hit the target. For example, equipping this allowed me to hit the frozen dragon at mountain of the giants and outrange its sweeping breath. So I was safely hitting it with arrow rain wheras a quick test without it, and I had to get much closer for arrow rain to work.

People asking about spells, specifically Lorettas Greatbow. That is why it is asked. So no, people aren't dumb to ask.

Can confirm this not only works for the ballista, but is (for general use) better than the Arrow's Sting Talisman. At the gatefront site of grace, i shot the spearman with the shield, from the site of grace 3 times with each test. With no talisman, 593, 563, 600. With the arrow damage talisman i got, 652, 657, 630. With this talisman, I got, 772, 772, 773. So unless you're right up in their face, the range talisman is best. Increases the range at which your damage drops off. While writing this though, I got curious about using both talismans, so with both, I got, 849, 853, 853. This is with a Hand Ballista +25 using Bone Ballista Bolts.
Why do people keep asking if the the arrow talismans works on spells when the item description says they work on bows and arrows.... 0_o?
You wouldn't assume a spell boosting talisman works on bows would you?
- Anonymous
It says "bows" but does it happen to increase the range of balistas by chance? It effects crossbows, so stretching it out to a balista isn't too ridiculous of a curiosity
- Anonymous
I think this negate some damage fallout from long shots, but I didn't test how strong the negate is.
If hawk ring is something to be compaired with, it should make normal bow use barely lose damage.

Seems like FROM carried over the effect of the Hawk ring had on Binoculars. Seems to increase the max zoom on the Telescope while worn.

This Talisman also increases the range of the "Spectral Lance" weapon art.

This talisman is actually EXTREMELY good for bow builds despite not giving any direct stat boost. If I'm not mistaken, the actual effect is that it buffs arrow speed; making hitting moving targets much more reliable.

can confirm this work on crossbows, but the projectile on the bone bolt still ****, significant increase on normal bolt.
