This should give you the full moveset of r1 attacks there is no reason why I can't do a running r1 or jumping r1 with this. Kinda wasted potential.

Extremely useless. It's just normal r1s. No dmg, no hyper armor or block frames, and slow on greatshields (faster on smaller shields but even less dmg and no stagger).

This Ash of War is not affected by the Shard of Alexander or Warrior Jar Shard talismans.

I was pretty disappointed with this one to be honest. At least on a medium shield, the amount of poise damage/hit stun it does is fairly minuscule. You’re better off just using shield bash IMO.

I'm going to put this on rickety shield and no one will stop me.

Per the Shield Strike page, this Ash is found attached to the Dueling Shield, in the Storehouse of Shadow Keep.
And for anyone wondering, you can attach this to all sizes of shield, and all it does is let you perform normal R1 attacks with your offhand shield. ...Except, oddly, the combo (as far as how soon you can start the next attack in the chain) is visibly slower. That's kind of annoying. I wonder if it's slower because they just copy-pasted over all the same Cancel Windows without considering how the Weapon Art cancel window is much slower than the Light Attack cancel window, so canceling it into itself is sluggish. But on the bright side, if that's what they did, then this should at least cancel into your mainhand Light Attack pretty quickly. My eyeballs think that it does. As for whether being able to do offhand shield R1s is useful: Dunno.

Kinda sad its just the shields light attack combo as an ash, but it is still fun, especially since the Dueling Shields light attack chain has guard points in between swings.
I haven't gotten this yet, but it says it's usable on all shields; if this is a ash of war that can be picked up and infused into other shields, can anyone say if there is different attack speeds for a small shield or Great shields?

God I hope this is an Ash that can be transferred. I've been wanting an offensive SnS build that uses the shield for more than just blocking. Something about ringing someone's bell with a rude shield to the face is just so satisfying. Not particularly interested in thrusting swords tho I gotta admit.

damn I really wish there was a fully fleshed out valorhart weapon from dark souls 3. Especially with the ancient Roman aesthetic the DLC had. Sword and board dual weapon combo is what I miss the most.
