Skill | Wall of Sparks |
Ash of War: Wall of Sparks is an Ash of War and Upgrade Material in Elden Ring. It is a brand-new Ash of War in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Ash of War: Wall of Sparks provides Standard affinity and the Wall of Sparks Skill. Ashes of War can be equipped on Weapons and Shields to modify the Skill or an equipment, or to apply affinities that modify scaling values.
This Ash of War grants no affinity to an armament, but imparts the following skill:
"Wall of Sparks: Scatter perfumed powder in vicinity, producing intense sparks after a brief delay. Can be charged to increase power and range. The properties of the sparks are determined by the perfume bottle used."
Usable on perfume bottles.

After finally trekking this AoW down, I'm so disappointed. Trash for PvP, trash for PvE, but it does look cool I guess.

Seen people saying Rolling Sparks is better, but they have their strengths and weaknesses. Big, fat enemies that typically don't dodge or can't do so fast enough will eat most of Rolling Sparks (Dragons, Golden Hippos, Bloodfiends, etc.) This is for enemies that like to dodge or move too fast to hit with RS. Of course it requires good timing. If you're worried about getting deleted by a big enemy or flinched out of the animation, pop an Ironjar Aromatic beforehand and have fun wiping them while their attacks bounce off.

you can use this as a delayed mine, if you press the skill once and leave the powder will linger for like 5 seconds before detonating. definitely useful but requires thinking

I'm not sure what the point of this skill is when all perfume bottles' charged R2s throw powder in a circle around you already.

Godfrey icon currently does not boost the damage of this unfortunately.
