Where to Find Beastman's Curved Sword in Elden Ring

The Beastman's Curved Sword has a chance to drop from any Azula Beastman carrying this weapon.

7 beastmen carrying this weapon can be found near the Crumbling Beast Grave Site of Grace in Crumbling Farum Azula. Turn right after leaving the room with the grace, the beastmen will be in two rooms ahead. Four of the beastmen are eating and do not respond unless the player attacks or walks near their head.

Beastman's Curved Sword can be upgraded by using Smithing Stones.
This curved sword has unique jumping light & heavy attacks incorporating spinning multi-hitting attacks, similar to how the beastmen use them.
The special jump attack can be performed after triggering the effect of the Ash of War: Raptor of the Mists.
Sell Value: 100
Base drop rate is 2% (at 100 Discovery).
NOTE: As of Patch 1.08, poise damage has been reduced, but only for PVP.
NOTE: As of Patch 1.09, the scaling values of this weapon were changed. Please refer to the Upgrades Table of this weapon below. Additionally, the running attack speed, first attack speed of straight sword has increased. The attack recovery time has also decreased.
NOTE: Patch 1.13 Increased poise damage of dual wield attacks of all Curved Swords (in PVP)

  This weapon has been buffed now with the twohanded talisman, which makes its jumping attacks more powerful. Normally you would just powerstance it, but two handing it is more viable now.

  I left a bit more info on the cragblade page, but this bad boy slaps with cragblade while 2-handing as it hits the 27 breakpoint on the multi-hit jump R2. You can get some cheeky stance breaks, for ex: I can 3-tap the tree sentinels outside the gates to Lleyndell. You can also stance break some larger bosses even while whiffing 1, maybe 2 of the smaller first hits (just land those second big hits).
  
  Probably the best minimal-FP-cost stance-break option for a blue dancer charm build that’s not the club. Since it scales STR (most BDC builds are Dex), hit 54 and use those free points for other stats. Combine jump attack boosts, multi-hit boosts, just spam jump R2 and you will shred. By the time you stance break, your multi-hit talismans should be popping for big riposte damage. Best to approach bosses to your right/their left due to the angle the attack comes out. One of my new fav setups.
  
  If you could farm this at 4 Belfries it would be god tier.

  Bloody slash is awesome on this. Makes up for poor range and poor poise dmg on 1st multihits, plus a nuke for crowds. When I put bleed on my weapon, all scaling increased compared to standard :o

  Read the description and the complaints from random PVM players getting invaded, and figured I'd give them a try. Here are my findings:
  
  The grind wasn't bad. With the pickled silver fowl foot and the silver tear mask, it probably took me 10 runs to get two.
  
  Powerstancing these is amazing in PVM and absolutely atrocious in PVP. Sure, you can invade and get kills, but that can be said about anything because you're fighting players that have no idea how to fight other players. But if you're actually going the "fair" route and fighting players in the arena, prepare to lose constantly.
  
  They have no range at all, the strikes are insanely slow to come out, and the only redeeming quality is the extra strikes that come out from some attacks. For example, the running power attack strikes for times total, so it's great for roll catching. And the leap attack also has 4 attacks, which can also be used for roll catching. But literally everything else about powerstancing these is horrid.
  
  They have the reach of extremely fast weapons, but the fast weapons have effective gap closers that come out super fast and don't telegraph, while these come out insanely slow and telegraph everything.
  
  I can powerstance fist weapons, daggers, straight swords, etc, and go 20/0 in the arena, but I'm lucky to win 50% of the time with these. They honestly just suck in a fair fight.

  One of those quietly powerful weapons. Perfect stat line for a strength build looking for a fast alternative. Retains B scaling in strength when bleed or cold infused (many dex curved swords don't even do this). Has the excellent jumping multi-hit dual-wield attack, but is the only curved sword with a multi-hit one-handed jump attack, ideal for setups that use a shield.
  
  A must-have option for strength users who want an extra card to play.

  I use them with keen raptor of the mists and the other one I think quickstep, I just power stance them, to be honest I just use em cause the attacks are just perfectly done, a perfect choreography.

  a pair of these things absolutely wrecks Radagon/Elden Beast at +25 heavy with 60 strength, in most situations I still prefer to stick with either giant-crusher or serpent-hunter but on bosses that don't stagger they're incredible for pure strength/

  The only real use for this as a strength build is for slightly better damage when cold of bleed infused. Lots of better and earlier to access curved swords can be infused with heavy or fire, with both better damage and range, the bandit sword or magma sword

  The 'Strength Curved Sword', and an overlooked gem for some builds. If you go Arcane/Strength (a Mohg Spear setup), it will have the same bleed buildup as any other bleed curved swords, but get a better scaling in strength than Scavengers or other swords have in dex. If you go Str/Int, it makes for a great Cold weapon for builds that lean more on strength than int (perfect for a Starscourge/Beast Jaw/Ruins Greatsword build). For a sword'n'board combo, it's one of the only curved swords that gets 2 hits on its R1 and R2, whereas most other curved swords must dual wield and L2 in order to multi-hit.

  I saw someone using dual of these on the elden beast & it was taking so much damage each hit I have to try whatever possible load out that was, pretty sure it it was putting out electric dmg since there was yellow sparks on it. Anyone have any advice on how to make the beast hurt with them? It’s my goal to consistently kill it.

  I love watching people ruin a perfectly good strength weapon with bleed. Seriously, stop infusing this with bleed. A dual wield run attack or jump attack hits 4 times and with 80 str (heavy infused) will do upwards of 1500 damage to unarmored targets. This is before buffs. I'm convinced these are some of the highest damage weapons in the game.

  Using thorny cracked tear/magic-shrouding cracked tear physick and rotten winged sword insignia, the burst damage for these power-stanced and cold-infused is ridiculous. I recommend Glintblade Phalanx for stagger potential and more combo opportunities. If you're running str/int build, seriously consider this weapon.

  These are OP when dual wielding. The jump power stance light attack and heavy attack that hits four times is too good with bleed + jump light attack. Build: Talisman: claw talisman, lord of blood, dragoncrest greatshield, rotten winged/great jar's arsenal. Helm: silver tear mask. Chest: raptor's black feathers. Remaining armor can be anything. Weapon art: left hand - seppuku, right hand - bloodhound's step. Incantation: not necessary but can use beastial vitality and Flame, grant me strength. Use incantations and then left hand seppuku before fighting enemy.
  
  I melt Godfrey, first elden lord both phases in couple minutes combined. All you do is run up and jump powerstance light attack and use bloodhound step to get behind him and repeat. Bleed will proc with two jump attacks easily. I didn't even max/min my stats. 36 strength and mid 20s arcane. Works very well with any target that is big and isn't fast including dragons. All you need is tank to aggro and just constantly jump light attack. Don't even bother using any other attacks or finishing the combo as each swing only hits two times. Running powerstance attack also hits four times.
  
  These are only curved swords with jump + power stance heavy attack that does four hits. The Bandit's curved sword jump heavy attack does not have it. I have not seen any weapon that can hit a target four times this quickly.
  
  Can also work with cold and poison.

  The jumping R1 both one-handed and two-handed is completely unique. You do a spin/flip. Unsure of any specific advantages to that, but cool nonetheless.

  You're probably thinking that this is the best curved sword for strength builds. Well, for some reason, the Bandit's Curved Sword has more AR even with 80 STR.
  
  Good job Fromsoft for giving the longest curved sword the highest damage for literally any build.

  These are an amazing option for STR centric builds.
  
  + Scales primarily with STR, Heavy gets you a nice A scaling but alternative paths such as Blood or Cold still give you a solid B in STR and C in the other important stat. This makes it very flexible for a variety of STR centric builds. The stat requirements nonetheless are nice and low though regardless.
  + Has all the benefits of a curved sword moveset, including that crazy dual wield jumping L1. This makes these a fantastic backup alternative to builds using heavy weapons for when you need a bit more speed.
  + Skill is customizable.
  + Its been talked about a bit but these definitely have some sort of hidden inherent bleed quality to them. When taken down a Bleed path, these pack a whopping 100 bleed, doubled obviously if you dual wield them. This means you can slap Seppuku on one of them (probably off hand, paired with a more active main hand like Bloodhound Step.) and with even a decent investment into Arcane, even as low as 15-20, your STR heavy weapon build can easily transform into a fast bleed burst centric character on the drop of a dime. I don't know if this really strong bleed proc is a glitch or something hidden a la serrated damage in Bloodborne, but its what makes these so formiddable.
  + Cold infusion I noticed works really well too.
  + I think they look really cool, especially dual wielded.
  
  -They're a bit of a drag to farm, and rather late in the main progression to boot.
  -Not the shortest curved swords but still a bit lacking in range.

  My brother was telling me about the lore of this place when one dropped.
  We were both dead silent.
  He started his sentence again in an attempt to continue and then a second one dropped at almost the exact point the first did.
  2 of them in 20 seconds from 2 of my first beastmen kills.

  dual wielded two and infused with bleed, and even with only 38 arcane, these babies gave me a nice 100 blood loss each.

  this thing has an awesome strong attack animation and that's what originally interested me in playing with it. Currently +24, Heavy, Bloodhounds Step. pretty fun to wield. Okay in PVP, jumping+strong attack with Bloodflame Blade on is ****ing hilarious, procs bleed like a beast even if it doesn't seem to state anywhere that it does? Possible (hidden) Arcane scaling so maybe thats y lol

  I use this powerstancing 2 of them on 60 str/30 int Cold Infusion around 580 AR and honestly it’s nearly perfect , two hits already triggers the frost effect, I’m just asking if it is any other curved sword who gets more AR cold infused?

  one my fav STR build weapon, if u want to get the most out of it, u can dual wield it, (blood off hand & heavy main hand), starting class is hero, and at lvl 125 u can get very versatile build, very good on melee combay, good defense & decent on range combat (aslong u know how to free aim), u can invest 60 vig, 80 str, and 15 faith, and put clawmark seal on ur off hand for incantation, inc u must bring both on pve & pvp is : flame grant me strength, beastial vitality & bloodflame blade, beastial constitution & flame clease me is situational on pve but a must on pvp, as for defensive buff it's situational both on pve & pvp, for offensive u have variety of choices too : few from fire monk incant & beastial incant, very versatile.

  As is my tradition with Dark Souls, I started off with colossal swords, but that felt too slow, so I went to powerstanced greatswords, felt alright, then picked these up and made them heavy and they just destroy. The double swings makes the damage rack up and the quicker recovery just make the late game bosses much easier. A little sad as a strength build, the heavier weapons just don't have the damage and the recovery is too slow. It feels like they thought hyperarmor poise / poise damage would make up for the slowness and meager damage numbers relative to things like Katanas, but nope not for PvE or PvP tbh. I have no real way to mix up with powerstanced greatswords to catch a fleeing person in PvP, it's just too easy to roll out of. Curved swords have a lot of mix-up capabilities.

  So far this is the only weapon that allows STR builds to play fast and do high burst dmg. The powerstance version offers a very fast gameplay while still allowing you to have high defense and resistances. Put a Heavy Ash for big damage. Couple it with the tried and tested buffs like Golden Vow, Flame Grant me strength, and a weapon infusion of your choice and you are set to demolish even end game bosses on NG++.
  
  The only downside to using this is the extremely short attack range. You pretty much have to stick to an enemy or risk whiffing your attacks. The only way around I found is using ashes that offer mobility like Quickstep or Bloodhound step. Lion's Claw also makes you look like an assassin albeit at a lower damage. Raptor of the mist with Black feather armor and claw talisman also offers some extremely strong counter attack playstyle that works best on unaware players and bosses at the end of their combo.

  These weapons ****. I’ve been power standing two of them with 80 strength / 30 arcane. Running sepukku and bleed infusion on both. Build plays like a dex bleed build with katanas but I enjoy the move set of curved swords more. The sprinting L1 attack is an instant 3 hit combo that applies bleed to the majority of enemies on the game. Combine this with mimic tear and all bosses become trivial, even in NG+

  Not sure if it's the only one, but this has a unique jumping attack for both light and heavy R1's. The light attack is a X-shaped double swing and the heavy is a rotating double attack similar to the grounded charge-heavy attack.
