A bit too good in pvp. It's cool, sure, but it's too good at catching you out of even Light rolls. Tune it down a little.

Another gap closing skill for gankers to spam while someone bkasts you with comet and stars of ruin

Free-aiming turns this already great skill into a powerhouse.
You have full control of movement during the followup, and the lightning dash is really good for getting out of sticky situations.
With enough practice you'll quite literally be running circles around your opponents.

How does this ash of war damage scale? Faith increases physical damage, I wanted to use it as a melee for a mostly caster Lightning build, at 80 Faith and others as requirement, it does normal hit damage roughly equal to what fextralife build video was getting. But ash of war is a bit weak.

How counter this AoW spammers in pvp? Especially with high ping :( ?

good ash of war, but feel like the initial dash should have some i-frames built in, not as many as something like bloodhound step, but some to make it slightly better and get the heavy attack landing more
- Anonymous
I wonder if it has more or less I-frames than bloodhound's step

Has a heavy attack follow up that hits multiple times in quick succession

"How do you counter this?" Simple! Literally just jump over the follow-up attack and punish with a jump attack. Wing Stance also works pretty well, since it has you jump over all those attacks and counter with a big thrust attack, which also does counter damage
Absurd range aside, I'm kinda surprised that there isn't a second follow-up attack, because the Death Knights we fight have a second follow-up attack after the first spin attack. Though it's probably for the best because this skill is already too good as it is
