To craft Bone Great Arrow (Fletched) x 5, you need the Nomadic Warrior's Cookbook [13] as well as the following Crafting Materials:

AnonymousSecond favorite item in the game, right behind the Golem Greatbow. There are fewer ammo types for greatbows than any other missile weapon, and they can only be carried in stacks of 30. Even though the damage is much higher per shot, and the firing range much slower, the ammo scarcity can make these bows feel like a supplemental weapon instead of something to main. These arrows correct that. 12 Eagles nest on the cliffs between the Murkwood Coast grace and the bridge nearby. Can collect 50 feathers every few minutes. With Bone Peddler's Bell Bearing turned in, you can buy infinite Hefty Bone at 250 Runes per. Each of these items stack to 999, enough to make 4995 of these. As long as you're not actively in combat, you can make another 30 of these arrows with just a few clicks. Put the unfletched version in your other ammo slot, and any time you're not in combat, you can quickly get back to 60 readied arrows. Even true when you're summoned in coop. It's dirt cheap to get the bone, fast to farm feathers from the very beginning of the game, making a great bow character fun and viable as soon as you meet the bow specs!
Of course, for boss fights and special situations all the other arrows are better by a little, except the rare Golem Great Arrow, which is better by a lot. Still the near unlimited quantity and cheap availability of them makes these bows super fun.
On my current run, I rushed out and got these recipes and farmed a Golem Greatbow right away. Also got regular arrow recipes and bought a longbow at Roundtable hold for eagle farming. Using just the fletched and unfletched bone great arrows I cleared Limgrave, Stormveil and Weeping Peninsula by Rune level 24 with +2 version of the bow. Then Liurnia by 40 with +4 on the bow. Lots of great summon opportunities throughout, and no stress or financial aggravation using these dirt cheap arrows. Most fun I've ever had with this game.
