Clinging Bone is a Fist in Elden Ring. The Clinging Bone scales primarily with Dexterity and is a good weapon for melee attacks that lets piercing armaments overcome enemy shields.
Horrific weapon made of a hardened skeletal arm. Wielded by Ensha of the Royal Remains.
Fitted by placing one's hands into the fists' grips until they dig in.
""O clinging creature. A king relinquishes not the hand.""

Pros:
High DPS
Comes as a pair
Somber stone upgrade
Mostly physical damage
Arcane scaling adds physical and magic damage
Excellent running R1 for roll catching
Easy to acquire
Pretty good reach for a fist weapon
Very light
Low stamina usage
AOW is very useful against invaders, heavy knight enemies (including Crucible), and other players.
Cons:
Scales with three stats but very little Strength
Low magic damage
Stupid looking (bone fists were cooler)
Still low reach compared to most weapon classes
AoW is still fairly slow and people will probably dodge it in PvP
No choice of AoW
Overall this is one of my favorites. Very strong weapon

phenomenal midgame weapon for a dex and arc build. respectable damage with a useful skill for human enemies, but the biggest amount of mileage you're going to get from this weapon is how fast it attacks and how little stamina it consumes. all the good parts of using a dagger but with the power of a good straight sword. not to mention it powerstances with itself, so you're getting the damage you want with a fraction of the weight.

Suprisingly good weapon despite it's reputation.
The trick is to only use it 1-handed. That turns the R1 into super fast horizontal swipes. The R2 charges ridiculously quick and deals good poise damage.

Why won't they make it buffable? Magic damage is negligible anyway

If you're not afraid to roll the bones, put em up, take a stab at it
Feeding knuckles; dodge a bolt of something mad, dab at It
Breakfast, dinner, lunches
Rollin punches, Taunted up,
Toxic draining, bad habit
CHECK YO JIB, DONT LIKE THE CUT,
Bloodhounds Step, behind ya now, once more round, slice ya GUTS, grinding, leeching your PRECIOUS BLOODS

Idk bit of a flow came to me while reading comments, kinda rock tempo and beat maybe

To get the best damage with this at level 125, you should have 54 dex and 31 arc. This leaves room for 60 vigor, 11 mind, 20 endurance, and 10 faith to cast protective fortification incantations. You also have to start with the bandit for most efficient stat allocation. This gives 501 attack power.

Should have had a unique version of lifesteal fist like the reduvia having a special blood blade.

We wanted to port the dark hand into Elden Ring but found it wasn't possible, so we sent Ensha to literally rip off one of the darkwraith's hands and it worked.

The game says it deals slash/pierce damage not standard/pierce.

"I've got a BONE to pick with you" - people who use this weapon

I discovered something interesting, one handed this weapon charged strong attack make alot more poise damage than powerstanced, and the charged strong attack is really fast

Since this has inherent magic damage scaling, you can wear rogier's set to capitalize on the magic damage that the skill normally does ON TOP of the magic damage innately added from the weapon. Couple this with magic cracked tear physick, dagger talisman, shard of alexander, and magic scorpion charm and you can one-shot players handily, as well as do 2.5k+ damage to PvE (tested at 80 arcane).

not gonna lie, this isn't bad at 150 level pvp. the running attacks are quick, and the scaling and damage is adequate
- Anonymous
Useful if you want to give another player a hand.
...I'll see myself out.

likely the worst weapon in the game. at least varre's bouquet has bleed
- Anonymous
The arcane scaling i this is too bad don't even try making it work with an Arcane build on top of that it cant be buffed and the split magic damage is way too low.

No one else has mentioned it yet, but the running attack on this absolutely slaps in pvp.

Rogier's Spellblade set boosts the weapon skill - probably because this is the only way to get magic damage on that Ash of War.
Useful. Kinda.
I find a good approach with this weapon's skill is to roll/dash in after an enemy does a strong attack and immediately L2. Alternatively, abuse the low stance your character takes when using the ability to duck underneath some enemy attacks (varies per enemy, some have horizontal swipes that are very duckable)

Weapon art shouldve been you holding out the arms & the rest of the skeleton materializes and you just swing him around in a circle

Almost 3 seconds of channel time for a grab that, even though it goes through shields, it is affected by poise. If someone has a certain amount of poise, the grab won't work **even though the attack lands** and you also do not have hyperarmor. Regardless of whether this is a bug or just a mere oversight, it needs to be remedied in my opinion.

Note: the clinging bone's lifesteal doesn't work against shielded opponents

I wish these either replaced your hands or went over them like a pair of gloves.....

Should have just put the Bone Fists from Dark Souls 2 back in the game. Instead of making half the fist weapons be essentially arm swords with boring movesets.

That atrociously slow cast animation on the lifesteal ability though... maybe my grandchildren will enjoy the lifesteal.

Does split damage Physical(80)/Magic(20). Weight is 3.0 not 2.5. Scaling: Str. E/Dex. C/Arc. D.
Attributes Required: Str. 8/Dex.22/Arc.16.
Talent seems to work like the old "Dark Hand" but goes through shields (Sidenote: All attacks do), a hit with the talent is not a crit. tested with both assassin talismans neither worked.
No hyperarmor as far as I can tell. Health "stolen" was 319HP with the following stats: (Str. 17/Dex. 24/Arc.17).
All tested with the soldiers on the "Bridge of Sacrifice".
Hope that helps; we can now finally Finger-but-hole...

Reminds me of the Dark Hand but it's sorta unusable until it gets scaling

Does standard damage, not Slash like all fists.
Works fine against Borealis, unlike a slash weapon that gets 80% resistance
