Summons spirit of Dolores the Sleeping Arrow
|
Dolores the Sleeping Arrow Puppet is a Spirit and Summon in Elden Ring. Dolores the Sleeping Arrow Puppet are used to summon the spirit of Dolores the Sleeping Arrow
One of Seluvis's favorite puppets.
Use to summon the spirit of Dolores the Sleeping Arrow
Spirit of a handsome archer who dressed in the style of a man. Called the Silent Hunter by some, she fires St. Trina's arrows from her shortbow.
Dolores once belonged to the Roundtable Hold, where she was both a critic and a friend of Gideon the All-Knowing. It was because of her that he and Seluvis went their separate ways.
Where to find Dolores the Sleeping Arrow Puppet

- Can be chosen from Preceptor Seluvis after finding his puppet collection in a hidden basement within the region, and having chosen to give Seluvis's Potion to Nepheli Loux.

This shop is still available if you interact with his body should he die.
- If you chose a different puppet at the time, then you can purchase this one from him for 5 Star Shards afterwards.
- If Seluvis's Potion is given to anyone else other than Nepheli Loux then you can find this Spirit Ashes on the body of Pidia after progressing Ranni's questline far enough for Seluvis to perish resulting in the puppets Pidia were given by Seluvis to turn against him. His corpse can be looted for this Ash and Pidia's Bell Bearing.
Elden Ring Dolores the Sleeping Arrow Puppet Notes and Trivia
- A possible reference to Pharis from Dark Souls.
- Her sleep arrows can be of good use against the Godskin Duo, as they are vulnerable to Sleep.

with how many seems Miquella's personas, I wonder if we can truly trust him in the upcoming DLC. He got that reverse harem.

I wonder if she's a literary reference to Lolita, what with her name, the themes of control and violation going on with her, and the parallel between her becoming a "Puppet" of Seluvis and Humbert Humbert turning Dolores into his "Dolly" that narratively acts for his ends. It's a bit of a stretch but it still seems super interesting to me!

Gideon and Seluvis being chums at one point should be a good indication that Gideon is a piece of ****

So she was befriended with Gideon and brought him to split paths with seluvis and now she is seluvis puppet? Dont want to know what happened there.

I wish there was some way to unpuppet her. Seems like a really interesting character and it sucks that she's limited to being essentially a mind-controlled slave. I'm going to choose to pretend/RP that she's not a puppet and voluntarily became an ash for reasons totally unrelated to Seluvis, like Latenna.
I've been thinking recently that the reason why Dolores became a wedge between Gideon and Seluvis is because of her affinity with Miquella. She wears men's clothing and is referred to as a "handsome archer." The word "handsome" is typically only used when describing an attractive man. So she obviously is a gender bender like Miquella is. Additionally, she uses St. Trina's arrows.
Gideon states at one point that he is unable to find any info about Miquella's whereabouts until after you kill Mohg. In my opinion, Gideon was planning to use Dolores as a way to get more info on Miquella. There is no other way for Gideon to find out about Miquella besides massacring albinaurics to get his intel.
Seluvis (who I believe is Pidia's puppet) is clearly characterized as not having any true allegiances and is only interested in adding to his puppet collection. His desire to turn Nephali, Gideon's adopted daughter, into a puppet is probably because (1) she is a powerful warrior and (2) her connection with Gideon. The second reason could just be pettiness on Seluvis's part because yet again he takes another promising warrior from Gideon's control.
Gideon or Seluvis having a romantic rivalry over Dolores makes no sense to me as they only use people to further their own ends. Gideon couldn't care less about Nephali or her values. To Gideon, she is just another pawn. So ya, Gideon and Seluvis aren't loving anybody in the lands between.

Did anyone try to summon her for Gideon boss fight? I'd be interested to see if he has any dialogue for that situation.

In my first fresh playthrough in 1.08, I gave the potion to Dung Eater and could buy this.

I wonder if they continue to attack enemies that are already sleeping.

So this was GIdeon's "friend"
maybe I can forgive him because he left Seluvis

I wish I had done seluvis's quest then given Ranni the Fingerslayer blade to get her off pidia's corpse before I ran into both of those fat, saggy old man coin purse looking bosses. The godskin noble that spawns on the bridge of the divine tower of Liurnia is a non-boss version, and there is no rebirth monument. Rolling into and avoiding their sword's thrust attacks is easy, trying not to get hit when they inflate then roll around so it doesn't flatten you for massive damage isn't.

She was really in a love triangle with both of the worst people imaginable huh?

This is good, I was only offered the weird Y-Front wearing Jarwight or Finger maiden Therolina, when does he open shop for the rest of the puppet spirit ashes then?
- Anonymous
she consistently puts the godskin duo to sleep and kept herself alive the entire fight. I'm gonna marry her

Ive come here to post a fan theory. This character looks a lot like Boc the seamster if you let him become reborn.(Same face, same Hat)
This is Bocs mom. you cant convince me otherwise.

Hate fighting the Godskins, especially the Duo? Say hello to your new best friend.

I summoned her for the first time against Godskins. Immediately shot the fat one and put it to sleep.

Anyone else see the similarities between Deloris and Pharis? Pharis was a heroic archer but the npc was female. In elden ring she's describes as a "handsome archer who dressed as a man. The hat looks similar as well. Just a thought...
Honest question, is there any reason to use her instead of just giving your mimic a shortbow with Rain of Arrows and sleep arrows?
- Anonymous
this girl's amazing, she can spam 3-4 arrows altogether and put to sleep in seconds anything weak to it, then she'll stop shooting until they wake up, so you can pull out a dagger to finish them off. Upgrading her feels like she can inflict sleep more easily and improves her life
- Anonymous
Do you really need to upgrade her? Not like the damage matters, but does the sleep effect increase? She is very agile and highly unlikely to be hit anyway, like Tiche

Is she St. Trina? Or just a fan or something? The description on St. Trinas sword says, that some believed her to be a boy and some a girl, and that she just disappeared all of a sudden.
Probably into Seluvis's private "happy times" dungeon. There also must be some hidden way to summon her to somewhere i think, since you seem to be able to get this no matter what.

What happens if you use her against gideon? Does any different dialogue happen since they were old friends in its description?
*SPOILER*
Does anything special happen, if you summon her during the Gideon fight?

You still get this from Pidia after Seluvis dies, so effectively we gain nothing by giving Nepheli the potion lol

Turning people into puppets? I see Seluvis is a fan of Sasori of the Red Sand

Feeling weird using her, you know....like who know what Seluvis have done to her until he getting tried of her and let us buy her off...
- Anonymous
SO Seluvis turn her into puppet and he leave roundtable hold? Probably always jealous Gideon for his knowledge and love to annoy the guy. He even trying to turn his adopted daughters into a puppet despite there are plenty of other Tarnish to target.

“Dolores once belonged to the Roundtable Hold, where she was both a critic and a friend of Gideon the All-Knowing. It was because of her that he and Seluvis went their separate ways.”
Pretty creepy thinking about how she became a puppet…

I received this off the merchant at Caria Manor. After defeating the boss follow the to the south and drop down onto the South West building. There is a merchant down a ladder, I bought everything he had and left. After completed Ranni's quest line I came back to the area and while travelling the path again I heard him begging for his life. Upon reaching his area he will be found dead with three of his puppets around him. You can then loot his bell and this item.

I found this item at Caria Manor, there is a merchant in the South West building that can be reached by following the ledge South from Moongazing Grounds after the boss. I spoke to him and bought all his items then returned later when I was climbing down the ledge and ladder to get to him he was begging for mercy. Upon entering the room I found him dead with three of his puppets around him. This item as well as his bell were left on the corpse.
I gave the potion to Gideon and didnt progress Seluvis quest. Then I finished Ranni's questline and Seluvis was dead. But I was still able to get this Ashes from the events of the puppets killing Pidia.
Seluvis body would only sell me the other two default ashes...

She kinda trivialized every boss fight i did with her.
Upgraded her at +4 atm and can absolutely recommend her

You get a choice between this, Jarwight puppet, and Finger Maiden Therolina Puppet if you :
1. Find Seluvis's secret chamber (through the illusory floor in the ruins near three sisters)
2.Make Nepheli drink the potion
Then speak to him and ask about his secret chamber.
gotten from seluvis's corpse after he dies in ranni's questline, still located at his tower after death. I did do his request and fed potion to person in hold. not sure if this effects the ability to purchase. need starlight shards to purchase
my mute crossdressing possibly anxiety riddled ghost wife getting her exposure therapy while helping me clean the streets of tlb (i love her for all her flaws and quirks)
