Dropped by a Leyndell Knight patrolling immediately south of the Liurnia of the Lakes Artist's Shack. [Map Link]

Dragon Cult Prayerbook can be given to Brother Corhyn or Miriel, Pastor of Vows to unlock Lightning Spear, Honed Bolt and Electrify Armament for purchase.

- Knight is weak to lightning and can be stun-locked for a combo by a two-handed weapon (tested with Lordworn's Greatsword). As long as can get off the first hit, you can win. Just wait for his strikes to start or finish.
AnonymousMy game crashed a minute after I got this book, and the autosave placed me exactly in the moment after I killed the guy, but before I picked up the book, making the Incantations unobtainable for me :(

Doing a new faith playthrough and wanted to get this for lightning. The guy carrying it can be a huge pain early game. I'm pretty sure he's immune to poison. I got a shortbow and 100 arrows and just did drive-by shooting at him. Bait out some attacks and counter them while his shield is down. Make sure you time his ranged lightning attack right. It took about 60 arrows to whittle him down and get this book.

You can stun lock him with any longsword with Stand Off. Even un-upgraded. Sneak up behind him to get the back stab. Time it so your R2 Stand Off lunge hits him once he gets up, then immediately R1 Stand Off to poise break him. Get the front crit and repeat.

Be warned if you die or reload after he drops the book (if you both die at the same time) youll have to wait until NG+ to get this

Killing this guy at level 1 with no upgrades is harder than a lot of bosses honestly

Can somebody help why the Leyndell Knight at Artist’s Shack in Liurnia of The Lake is not there after I defeat Radahn? I followed the guides but he is no where to be seen.

The specific knight is incredibly weak to the Dragonice breath attack. 3 fully charged puffs were able to drop him while only barely having the proper stats to use the attack. And it works even better if you're luring him on horseback - back off until he stops running at you, just doing a slow walk, move in a little and use the ice breath on him. Then back off a little and repeat. He'll never come close to hitting you. Yes, its a cheese.

When using an astrologer, stay on horseback and run rings over and around him to get space so you can hit him with comet shards or rock spells.
It worked for me.

I am not sure how but I found this knight that drops this book underneath the broken bridge near the Lance Talisman location in storm hill on 2 playthroughs but cant find it in that location anymore.

this knight is tough to stagger he has high poise i think...I tried about 6-9 heavy attacks with a club and he didnt get stunned untill he was 1% hp left

Tried to get the item by dropping the knight off a cliff. He died, got the runes, no book. GG Miyazaki.

Killed the knight and got the book, then crashed 30 seconds later. Load back into the game and the knight is already dead with no loot, but now I have no book and he doesn't drop it anymore. Great.

There is a gold knight here. He patrols on front of the artist shack on the path took me more than a few deaths but I killed him with a lvl 20 hammer wielder. The first time I killed him he dropped the book

Could not beat this guy on my lv 44 faith build, so I killed him instead with my lv 140 mage and he did not drop anything.

By the right side of liurnia there's a road, just follow it and before the artist shack near the tower you should find a golden armored night, if get to the shack then go back south where the road split

The Golden Knight won't drop the Dragon Cult Prayerbook. The first time I went there, I killed the golden knight and probably missed the Prayerbook drop that I didn't see on his body. Is there any other way I can get the Prayerbook or the incantations it has? I really don't wont to miss out on the buff and the lightning bolt.

I have a friend who found this book before beating Godrick or entering Liurnia, near the first mariner in Limgrave off a lightning knight that spawned there. Can anyone confirm this is possible? Don’t know conditions to get him to spawn reliably.

Gave the book to the turtle but only got the first two spells; he didn't sell electrify armament for some reason
I can't get the knight to drop the book regardless of how many times I kill him. I don't already own it, and neither teacher have the incantations that come with the book (so I haven't given them it already).
Any prerequisites for him to drop it?

the knight can be poisoned, at loses a bit over half his health when he is and it ticks all the way though

the item is found just south east of the (artist shack site of grace.) after you kill a knight with a lightning sword he drops the book

This is dropped by a lone golden knight, past stormveil castle. It's in the area called Liurnia and near a bonfire.

The gold knight is located due south of the Artists Shack site of grace in Liurnia, not Limgrave. Between Artists Shack site of grace and Gate Town Bridge site of grace, but due south of Artists shack. He’s walking and has a shield.
