Channels dragon to spew icy breath
![]() |
Dragonice is an Incantation in Elden Ring. Dragonice spell allows the caster to transform into a dragon to spew a chilling icy breath. Overall it’s a very nice spell for proccing frostbite on build that normally wouldn’t be able to do so.
One of the incantations of Dragon Communion.
Transforms caster into a dragon to spew icy breath.
Charging extends duration.
Those extraordinary individuals who perpetuate Dragon
Communion are called the dragon-hearted.

- Can be used while on horseback.

All I do is Co-op (I’ll farm an area while waiting to be picked up), and oddly enough, very few host/Co-op’s use frost. I don’t understand why? It’s like a free buff for everyone for 30 secs.
And, much like when I use sleep, someone is using fire immediately after the frost proc, which is rather stupid, as everyone loses that free extra damage (they rot when I’m trying to inflict sleep).

When you get the chance in a boss fight, drink hidden tear and douse out frostbite first and then follow up with another breath to take advantage of the -20% debuff from frostbite. If you can land them both without being interrupted in the 10 seconds then you have likely burnt more than half of the boss' hp bar with most of your flasks at the start of the fight.

For some reason my brain reads this as "Dragon Lice" which sounds both cool and terrifying at the same time.

does the frostbite lowered defence debuff stack with greyroll's roar?

If I were to level faith on an int character and use the golden order seal and all the other items, would the ice/magic dragon incantations be viable?

People really be whining about Rotten Breath but the rot is removable afterwards and thus preventing most of its damage. This cannot happen with Dragon Nice as if catches you it will most surely stunlock you till it proc but removikg the status effect won't return your 20%hp,resulting in one-shoting most players (at least at RL 70). Perfect for wiping out the host's friend and go for a duel.

Why I cannot see the option to buy Dragonice or Rotten Breath?? Is it a bug? There is only Dragonfire, Dragonmaw and Dragonclaw available.

Casting this with 30 FTH and +4 Finger Seal. Deal roughly ~2000-2500 dmg on Ekzykes when deplete FP (21 MIND ~ 107 FP)

How is regarded the damage type?
Is it considered Magic?
If so, isn't this inherently better than the Magic Breath as this also inflicts Frostbite?
