Also looks a bit like the center part of the elden ring itself. This reminds me that many gods and demigods can "change" gender if wished so (Marika & Radagon, Miquella & Trina). Wonder if this talisman will appear in DLC.

squish this one like in bloodborne to see the true form of the outer gods

What a Troll. Show me a talisman I can't have. It's useless, but I got to collect them all!

I would say it's the worst talisman in the game, given how it works, but I won't, because I've never equipped it so can't attest to that.
- Anonymous
What does it do? (don't say changes demeanour of wearer's actions)
- Anonymous
give me my reversal ring so i can roleplay as myself, fromsoft
- Anonymous
i think it allows you to use the move sets of human enemies like how u walk or using certain weapons or the way the weapons being held

This talisman would change rolls to bloodborne dashes if it were in the game (like 90% sure )

reversey ring from ds3
gonna be in whichever dlc has miquella

almost positive this will be released in the upcoming shadows of the erdtree dlc about miquella

Judging by DS3, I'm assuming it changes the walk style of the character.

What I like most about this item is it changes the demeanor of the wearer's actions, which is really cool.
- Anonymous
untangling it automatically downloads the hidden Bloodborne PC port

so this is likely based on that one item from a previous game where the two model types had different animations, and equipping it would switch them
in that case this is worthless cus if there are different animations, not a big enough difference so why bother? i dont believe elden ring even has different animations so thats probably why it went unused
- Anonymous
Update: when equipped it changes the demeanor of the wearer's actions by changing the demeanor. Scalable to actions
- Anonymous
Guys, I believe it changes the demeanour of the wearer's actions

It would be awesome if it worked like the wrist band in the original Total Recall movie.
A holo graphic double of your self

more DLC for PVP ?? - imagine using a Crimson Flask but the enemy sees you Corpse Piler... could be the difference some of you ROB builds need XD

The gender politics in a video game forum talisman very rare Indeed

Hoping to see this added in a DLC or as part of the mirror mechanic.
probably just makes male/female players have female/male animations respectively, if it is that must be the biggest waste of a talisman slot
even a trick mirror would be more of an acceptable loss then moving somewhat differently if its the case lol
- Anonymous
Can you imagine if it gave you Bloodborne dodge instead of the roll
- Anonymous
Since this changed your animations but not your appearance in other souls games, would this maybe be implemented later in DLC? I always found this enchantment to be pointless though and just for a gimmick.

So, you can only obtain this with cheat engine. Would having this item ban you from online multiplayer?
- Anonymous
Collecting 3 umbilical cords in bloodborne unlocked a cool bossfight. Here it just enables crossdressing
- Anonymous
Its pretty easy to deduct that this was removed after they added the mirror to the Roundtable Hold, no?

Sorry if this is rude, but.. is it not a bit pointless to have cut items that aren't obtainable in the game right now in a list of other talismans that actually have effects?
- Anonymous
I apologize if this is a dumb question, but why is it currently unavailable in-game..? And how did people get it if it is? Was it taken out after the online beta testing phase..?

In all seriousness for game content does this then tie to the Law of Regression incant/spell? Has anyone looked at the Radagon Statue in Leyndell to see if this symbol is present prior to Ashen Capitol? Has anyone compared the sigil of Marika's Church Statues to Radagon's? Will this drop in the upcoming DLC? Will we get it at Miquella's cocoon/egg stolen by the Mohg, Lord of Blood? Will it react to the Church Statues? Will milicent ever come back to us??? So many questions... so little answers... like where else do we use thesr Prattling Pate's except for Boc!!! For Marika's sake!!! Why Fromsoft... WHhhhhhhhYyyyyy!!!!

I can't think of any other gendered actions, but if you pick Body Type A you do manspread on the throne as Elden Lord.

So... I am guessing this was used in the development process to test things and not having to swap characters...
Anyway I used it for a bit and I saw no change at all what so ever....
So perhaps I am just wrong.

Would be better as a toggle item like the lantern but one that remembers its state.

There was an equip item in the DS series that changed your characters gender based actions & emotes into the opposite gander, my guess it’s likely the same as that was.
- Anonymous
My guess that talisman is more entwined with Miquela than Marika. With him being famous femboy from a wooden womb and possible bloodborne-esc connections to the thing called the Blood star.

I think the connection between Radagon and Marika is possibly based on fruit bearing tree biology. I miss order for a tree to bear fruit it requires cross pollination from another fruit tree of the same species. There isn't really a male or a female involved in this process. It's just 2 different trees which cross pollinate through insects (typically bumble bees) that unknowingly transfer pollen between the trees. I'd like to think this is why Marika needed Radagon to return, so she could bear children (fruit). Topics like this regarding gender are a little too controversial today though, which is why this particular talisman was removed.

This is the symbol that is on every Marika statue in the game.
And it makes sense considering the story.
My new name for Marika is......... Gwyndolin. >:D
It is to typical that a talisman with these features is 'not in the game' as a ring has always been in previous installments. My guess is that is has to do with the endless gender discussions going on in the world right now.

most likely the gender reverse ring we know from the souls games.

God damnit the Last piece for my ultimate femboy character isnt even in the game

Same shape as what is found surrounding Queen Marika at her respective churches, hiding Radagon’s secret

I have a theory, it was used by queen marika to be radagon that way she could end the war with the caian royal

this sounds like the Reverse Ring from DS3 where it changed your idle animations and such based on your character's gender.
- Anonymous
Demeanor of wearers actions? I'm guessing it eliminates the use of celestial dew and makes absolution useless meaning you can kill who you like in the game without needing to get absolution from it to reverse what you did.

The comment section is literally "hurr durr, I want to know what's in your pants at A L L times. How dare you not be what's in your pants".
Who hurt you? Why do people actually care that much? Also, if this makes you mad I'm sorry to say but there's an incestuous malewife in the game. Has a blood fetish too.
- Anonymous
It makes 3 rings and we all no how many cords it took to become a great one in bloodborne!!
- Anonymous
this is the item that gives a male the female animation set and vice versa
- Anonymous
the comments here really shows the fanbase fromsoft attracts
- Anonymous
No surprise this isn't available in-game, and why would it be? With the infinite option to recreate your character completely via the Roundtable's mirror or Rennala, this ring is indeed useless.

I hope this idea actually makes it to the game in future dlc. Being able to customize your character animations would be boss in pvp
- Anonymous
Interestingly, the umbilical cord entwines in a way that seems very similar to the sigil behind Marika's statues; probably linking this to the whole "Radagon is Marika"-deal.

Didnt this just give a male character female character animations in sounds in DS3?

Its shape resembles the entwining of the elden ring fragments.

its the gender animation swap item. be M use F animations or v-v

probably decided this was bad for invasions because it destroys clarity when attacking.
as far as i can tell from equipping it(added in with CE) it literally just makes your character stand up a TINY TINY bit more straight, like literally maybe 2% more straight lol no other discernable differences
51% to cast seppuku every time you do an action
