Its scaling is backloaded like the Erdtree Seal, so you won't have good numbers with this unless you invest past 60 faith.

I also sorta wish that all spells were buffed to varying degrees, and they removed the ability to stack buffs from using the same catalyst in each hand. Would make a bit of room for more interesting boosts, rather than a simple +15% damage. Also, if the specialized catalyst was used to cast the spell, I wish it provided additional boosts, like faster cast speed or some more imaginative addition when casting matching spells.

As an example, Imagine if Fire Knight seal caused the charged version of Fire Serpent to release a second projectile like the fire knights do on occasion, or if Dryleaf Seal allowed Discus of Light to be used without delay after other actions, similar to Catch Flame or Carian Slicer… would make the entire selection alot more interesting imo.

At 72 Fth this thing gives me the highest buff from Bloodflame Blade along the Godslayer Seal. So you can either use this or GS, buff your weapon with Bloodflame Blade and cast Messmer or Blackflame Incants at your own will. Idk If Blackflame incants work with flame grant me strength tho.

for people only using pyromancy, until youre in the 65-70 range of faith minimum its probably better to just use giant's seal since itll have better damage at lower faith levels and more things to buff than messmerfire. specifically 67 faith is where the scaling of the two seals match up at 285, after that point the fire knight's seal will have the better incant scaling

At 72 faith, the Fire Knight Seal did an additional 80 damage (791) with Flame Serpent when compared to a Godslayer seal (711). When casting Messmer's Orb, the difference was about 200 damage; 2031 Fire Knight vs Godslayer's 1830. A marginal difference, so I would recommend just picking up the Godslayer unless you are exclusively using Messmer incantations.

If you find yourself often casting Catch Flame over Flame Serpent, the Erdtree Seal is better. If you find yourself often casting Flame Serpent over Catch Flame, this is better. If it's about an even mix of both, either seal is about comparable to each other, although if you plan on casting things other than Catch Flame and Fire Serpent, it leans more towards the Erdtree Seal because of it's higher scaling of 353 at 80 Faith, over this having 333 at 80 Faith. But Fire Serpent is a really good spell...

It's worth when paired with mesmer's helmet and fire knight chest because of the multiplicative % buff

Ok so at 70 faith and 18 str it gets 290 scaling for all non messmer spell but for those spells it turn into 333 scaling.So unless you plan to mainly use messmer spells you are better off using godslayer or erdtree

Miyazaki, why does the Fire Knight's Seal have STR instead of DEX scaling? At 60 faith even with the 15% bonus to Messmer's spells, Godslayer's Seal is still better for Messmer's spells. DEX would fit better for a Fire Knight build with Queelign's Greatsword and Spear of the Impaler who both only require 14 STR.

Gravel stone seal at 61 faith has incant scaling of 284. This has an incant scaling of 259 at 61 faith. Both are +24.

seems to have really low incant scaling
at 20 str 60 fth it has 259 incant scaling, while my gravel stone seal has 282

This has an incant scaling of 346 and boost messmer incantations by 15%.

The seal takes regular smithing stones and at +25 with an incant scaling of 333 with 80 faith. It also requires 8 str and 23 fai to wield properly, I'm assuming it gives the same amount of bonus dmg like the other seals that effect specific spells.
