Negations (or Absorptions)
The negation numbers are the % of your damage that gets blocked. For example, if a negation is 60, 40% of that damage by that type will go through and 60% will be negated. Bigger number = less damage. A negation of 100 means no damage goes through, and a negation of -100 mean the enemy takes 2x damage from that source. 0 means damage goes pretty much as is.
Resistances
Poison: 627 / 917 / 1374
Scarlet Rot: 627 / 917 / 1374
Hemorrhage: 627 / 917 / 1374
Frostbite: 627 / 917 / 1374
The resistance numbers are the buildup amount to trigger it. For example, if a resistance is 100 you must deal 100 points of the given buildup to trigger it. Note that these go down over time, and increase each time the effect procs. The values after the "/"s indicate the increased resistances after each successive proc.

Additional Fight Strategy
- Stand on the elevated areas overlooking the bridge and snipe Greyll from afar. Its breath attacks don't track upwards very well so you can attack safely with minimal fear of reprisal.
- Use Serpentbone Arrows or Rotbone Arrows and stand on one end of the bridge, just barely close enough so that your arrows can reach. If Greyll starts using a long-range fire attack, run away and come back once it's settled down

He's pretty easy to defeat if you stay near his foot and just hack away. When he lifts into the air, run away on your horse. Run toward him when he gets ready to shoot fire at you. You can also hit his wing and it'll criple him for a brief time. I used the Glintsone Sorcerer Ashes +6 and she lasted quite a while. She can do a range attack while you go inside.
His head is really vulnerable but hard to hit with melee.
Stay on your horse as long as you can. Feed it the sweet raising to keep its HP up.

During his flying fire breath attack, there´s always a small safe spot on your left side. You can see a small non charred circle after he is done, thats where it was. It can be a bit hard to get used to running there since you gotta completely base it off how far away he was before he started flying.
However, his standing fire breath can sometimes bug out and shoot behind himself which sucks. If he does his quick jump into fire that can also insta kill you if you´re not at full health.
If you can´t survive his fire breath at all, even at full health, I wouldn´t recommend doing this fight as you are, as then you´ll be relying heavily on RNG not accidentally proccing the quick jump into fire, and that can be very annoying. Everything else is pretty much dodgeable.

Took a couple of tries, but I got him with Latenna +5 and Black Fireballs. Pop a Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot for 104k runes.

This is certainly one of the dragon bosses in all of elden ring
- Anonymous
Dragonice for frostbite on horseback, then scythe. Even if I was one shoted ( 18 vigor) i reach him about 10% HP. Then O tree took the kill
- Anonymous
Fire breath attack hit me standing behind him and one tapped me. 10/10 gameplay design
- Anonymous
Cheese: on horse back, carrian great bow with meteorite staff int 60 and 6-8 flasks. Fully charge the shot and make sure it's locked into the head, hit retreat and repeat up the hill. Not super quick but very easy

Gotta be honest, most medium size and big size dragons are a joke when you are on horse back. I just go under his pp and spam basic attack with the occasional dodge of the foot stomp.
- Anonymous
This was a toughie. What finally cinched it for me (Dragon Incantation build) was first summoning a helpful spirit ash (I went with Kaeden Mercenary), then basically playing chicken with Greyll running straight at him, slipping behind him as he started his huge fire breath attack, and blasting him with Rotten Breath from behind. Idk if it's a bug or what, but trying to do ranged attacks from the nearby hill was out of my range for all of the incantations I currently have in my playbook.
- Anonymous
So uh, was doing a sorcery run and tried killing him early, and he got stuck middair near the grace and died after a few sec. Made things faster, because im SURe I had enough fp :p
- Anonymous
Was able to kill him without too much trouble by summoning Latenna just to the east 9f bridge, right in front of the Farum Great bridge grace. Equipped flamedrake talisman, and with 25 vigor I would survive the flame breath, just barely, when he managed to hit me.
Let Latenna blast him, while I was on horseback swiping at legs and wing when given an opening, and then riding quickly away when he would fly up, or rear up for an attack.

As a mage I came here and killed him, was very surprised when I got 80 k runes
- Anonymous
Can someone remove that this unlocks greyoll’s roar. You have to, yknow, kill greyoll to get that
- Anonymous

While I was fighting him he managed to get stuck on the geometry of the bridge and a tree mid flying/jumping animation, and after ten seconds of floating, he just died without me doing anything.

Defeated this guy at level 60-65 using Flame of the Redmanes on a Heavy Pike, with Latenna making sure his poise doesn’t regen. Had to tank some hits, Flamedrake Talisman helped a lot. Good way to get 80k runes.
- Anonymous
Beat this guy at lvl 38 - flamedrake talisman and flame fortification incantation are must haves. Spam heavy attacks on his head and riposte - making sure to dodge his attacks. I used gold halberd which has amazing range.
- Anonymous
go toward his left. upon seeing the breath that goes left to right (or right to left from your perspective), quickly switch to his right and get 3-5 hits in before dashing away so as to avoid his tail. if he does the super long straight breath either run away or attempt to get under him if you’re close enough. takes forever but it’s consistent and effective
- Anonymous
Rotten dragon breath + occasional melee attacks = ez 100k runes

So this guy appears to be a direct decendant of Greyoll, given the name similarities and proximity. Whats interesting is that he is guarding Gurranq and the Farum Great-Bridge. Its clear that color indicates a dragons' age so we know Greyll is recently matured (evidenced by the fact that the babies around Greyoll are brown, whereas she, the oldest of them all is pure white.) It makes me wonder if Greyoll had him guard their links to Farum Azula seeing as that is their safe haven. We know the dragons have some form of intelligence as Ekzykes hunted those that partook in Dragon Communion for revenge against those killing his kind, and Adula was smart enough to swear an allegience to Ranni and the Carian Royals, and learn magic

Miyazaki just can't resist a classic dragon bridge encounter.

B8ed his flying fire attack and got the stupid bastard to fly off the bridge and to his death.
- Anonymous
Just a renamed agheel in a worse arena at least the other dragons have unique breath attacks this guy has nothing unique
- Anonymous
I was able to beat him by luring him to an area between the bridge and the site of grace. He got stuck and started doing the same walking movements over and over. He wasn’t even breathing fire or flying. So I went up on the cliff right above him and used a longbow+14 and regular arrows. Lock your aim on his head and use the mighty shot. I was able to get 422 damage with every arrow. Sometimes I was able to shoot him in the eye for over 500 damage.

i personally think it would have been better to replace him with the black blade kindred that guards gurranq. And keep an ancient dragon at the kindred's place like in the trailer.
- Anonymous
A little bit disappointed that this Dragon doesn’t have a special power. Maybe an upgraded or special Dragonmaw spell or something?
- Anonymous
Not even true , you can easily cheese him with the scarlet rotten breath and hiding behind the bridge wall , he'll walk back and forth, allowing you to rot him again , along with Grayoll and Radahn it's easy early runes
1 unupgraded longbow
99 standard arrow
1 starlight shard
6 cerulean flasks
28 Dex
This is all that it takes to kill him. Just get the aggro, wait for him on the hill above the site of grace; he will get stuck there giving you the opportunity to put countless headshots in. If you don't mess up with the shots you should be able to kill him this way. I had to deal the finishing blow myself because I messed up a little and I didn't have cerulean flasks allocated, so I had to make do so to speak

Flying Dragon Greyll: "Look at me guys I'm so smart I'll wait on this narrow bridge so people get stuck and can't pass."
Also Flying Dragon Greyll: Breathes fire while panic dodging backwards, gets stuck on a tree with his wings spreaded in a majestic pose, only to die after 5 seconds of air time, giving the player like 96k runes(scarab) for free

Is this the only truen dragon boss in the game that neither unlocks a new draconic power nor drops anything unique?
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
Easy way is using rotten breath incantation and run away till rot ends. rot deals about 2000 damage, so 2 times and some arrows do the trick.
- Anonymous
Hmm yes today I will have a meager amount of self confidence
*greyll proceeds to do his bombing run in the tight confines of the bridge*
ALL CONFIDENCE IS GONE, ONLY PANIK

Idk where they're getting the health values for this but it has WAY more than 2200 health. About 800 barely did more than a sixth of the bar.
If you fight Flying Dragons by performing horseback archery, then this is basically Agheel v2. More health, higher damage, but same deal.
Equip a good bow, plenty of arrows, Arrow's Sting Talisman + Arrow's Reach Talisman. Keep your distance, watch your footing so you won't fall off the map. Bait him off the bridge. Shoot the head when he's approaching you in between attacks, shoot the body when he doesn't. Won't even take too long.
- Anonymous
Bleed resistance seems to be incorrect. It should be closer to 400~500. Bled a single time during the entire fight and I was able to thoroughly keep pressure on it and get about 11-14 hits in power stance both bleed off at same time on a few occasions.
- Anonymous
He has another attack, on his fire breathe, sometimes he turns his head. He hit me in his wings
- Anonymous
Stayed on a cliff near the bridge and just cast night maiden’s mist every now and then. Took about 10 mins or so for it to die.
- Anonymous
It's harder for him to run away than the other dragons, so this is a good chance for melee fighters to practice posture breaking dragons. Bonk him on the head, and stab him in the eye. Repeat until you get runes.
- Anonymous
This was the easiest boss in the game, he took flight to crash on me, missed the bridge and died of fall damage.
- Anonymous
If you're underleveled or just hate the idea of fighting on the bridge you can cheese the encounter by going to the cliffs next to the "Farum Greatbridge" Site of Grace and using any form of range attack that arcs over the rocks so that you're completely safe from any of the breath attacks.
The fastest and most reliable combination I found was to use any type of bow to get Poison/Scarlet Rot to tick while repeatedly casting Rock Sling. After 3-5 casts Greyll will usually fall down as some of the rocks hit the head which lets you reapply any status effects without having to worry about the breath attacks.
Consider allocating all your flask charges into Cerulean Tear as you will be casting a lot of Rock Sling and healing isn't needed at all as you will most likely instantly die in the case that you get hit by any of the breaths.
If you're able to cast Comet Azur then it's possible to nuke the boss from the same cliffs at a slightly different angle near the trees every time it tries to lunge towards you. Alternatively you can just go to the bridge, use a tanky summon near any of the roots and jump on the braziers to cast. This way the boss will usually waste a few breaths on the summon when the encounter starts and with good luck the roots will terrain block the breaths which gives you even more time to channel spells.

I ran underneath and rotted it with rotten breath. I then ran back to the graced side and got on the rocks. There is a spot where you can hide behind and not get hit by the fire. I spammed meteorite and chugged cerulean tears. I had either the talisman to boost damage at full health or the sorcery booster one. By ran I meant rode torrent.

just fight him like any other dragon lmao, literally the strats dont change for these regular dragons
- Anonymous
yknow, i like, for the most part, fighting dragons in this game, as horseback makes it actually feel pretty fun and cool...i DONT like fighting huge enemies with flame aoes on tiny, small strips of platform that you can't maneuver around.
idk why they keep doing this in this game. putting you in really obnoxious environments to fight enemies that would be significantly more fine to fight in a wide open space :/
- Anonymous
So I encountered him very early via the portal. He flew on top of the tree above the site of grace, got wedged between the cliff and tree, got stuck in his falling animation for 10 whole seconds before he landed, and died instantly.
- Anonymous
i encountered an immunity to rot damage. can anyone else confirn?
- Anonymous
cheesed from above the bonfire on other side of bridge. didnt take off, just fired rocks at it. no damage to me
- Anonymous
fought this guy when literally every one of his attacks one shot me except for the odd 1hp remaining after getting grazed by fire breath. strat is horseback with uchi(dealt like 100 damage per swing lol) hit the legs and stay in his belly area to avoid tail swipes. if he moves forward for tail swipe follow him and stay in belly area, if he flies, dash towards his tail and youll avoid both the body stomp and the sweeping breath attack. and the rest is patience, good luck!
- Anonymous
Would be probably easiest boss in the game if it was not set on the stupid bridge. Now you just get stuck into everything and camera doesn't work.
- Anonymous
Gained 9 levels worth of souls from killing it.... just kept on the horse by it's right leg, would not dismount even for finishers as it's hits would take 80% off my hp. Took me a while to chip at the huge health pool, but all in all a very easy fight.
- Anonymous
Defeated him using Nightrider flail +6 with Ice ash of war (very effective stance breaking)
one hell of a fight
- Anonymous
I encountered a glitch where he landed on a tree on the bridge and died withing a few seconds without me doing nothing. I was excited to fight him but I'm not complaining.
- Anonymous
Standard dragon fight that can be complicated by terrain, sometimes in your favor as he can "fall" to his death by diving into the side of the bridge.
- Anonymous
125K runes(using golden scarab talisman/golden fowl foot) by sniping him from the rocks on the cliff with Serpents Bow mighty shot and Serpent Arrows. Took three runs of poison and a couple pot shots. Just make sure to hide far enough away to out range his flame breath as it reaches pretty far into the rocks.
- Anonymous
The bridge makes things easier because he’ll always remain centered for you to fight, making melee and magic passes with torrent extremely simple and low-risk.
- Anonymous
You can easily beat him by staying close-mid range so he only uses the stomp move, just need to watch out for the breath fire AOE and the Flying Stomp, other than that, his head is always close to the ground, so just spam any quick attack to break his stagger.
I used the Moonlight Veil Art and completely mowed him hitless after trying the Meteorite on him and missing completely, so it's very doable.

He fell off the bridge by accident for me. Did his plunging attack while I was on the side rails and proceeded to fall off.

Boss gets easily bugged in the arena, but leaving the area and coming back will sort it out for you. Bleed+Horseback+No-Hit= early 80k runes
Nebula from the Wing of Astel completely trivialized this boss along with a +7 mimic tear.
- Anonymous
Just killed him. MAGE only technique. You must have Rock Sling spell. Bring plenty of FP healing. You shouldn't need but 1 crimson. Recommend having highest magic attack you can build yourself up to. From starting point use torrent and bait him to the opposite side. Get on the dead dragon heap to the left and stand on top. Find a good spot that his fire can't hit you and spam Rock Sling. You may need to test a few spots first. This could probably work with BOWS too. Happy hunting!

Easiest 80k souls in the game. Each Bleeding proc hits him for 13k. He had someting like 90k HP. And you can hit the very tip of his tail without starting the fight because is so long. The tail is located near the Fort faroth bonfire.
- Anonymous
He was a cakewalk with rotten breath, just rot him and then keep midrange, in my case he just kept walking towards me. Easy to reapply as well because once you get close enough with torrent he does the big flame attack which was punishable
- Anonymous
so for bow/magic users there is a way to glitch him, if you look towards the beast masters castle from the bridge you will notice that on the left side of the bridge there is lower terrain right next to the bridge. if you are able to get grehyll over there he will continuously use breath attacks and nothing else. however the breath attacks wont hurt you unless you get too close. I advise that you either bring alot of cerulean flasks or arrows to this fight as it will take awhile.
- Anonymous
For magic users, a combination of frostbite and and fire damage may help
(Dragonice + Black Flame if you use Incants.)

I just cheesed this dragon with a hundred arrows on the hill overlooking the bridge close to the grace.

Ok so I'm seeing a lot of big brain strategies to kill this boss and while most of them are very good, it's just too complicate and require so much stuffs for it to success. I just kill Greyll at level 66 and except for my Faith, which was level 26, none of the other stats exceed 20.
To do this cheese you just need 4 things: at least 60 FP, Torrent, Rotten Breath and enough FP flasks to fill up your FP bar at least 4 times.
Starting the fight:
-Get on Torrent and run straight at Greyll, by the time you reach it, it will have its back turn to you.
-Make sure you don't stand too far away that your Rotten Breath doesn't reach it fully, now do a full cast Rotten Breath, if you're close enough, Greyll should get Scarlet Rot immediately.
-By the time it turns around to attack back, you will have already be able to move again, so if it decided to do some melee attack, you won't be helpless.
-If it does melee attack, turn around and run back to where you came, if it jump backward into the air and then start flapping its wings then just run straight at it, it following breath attack will completely misses you.
-Now you can relax a bit. The dragon is far away from you, the Scarlet Rot will take away 50% of its health so just let it does its job.
-Greyll will only walk slowly toward you and do a fire breath whenever you get in range. If you don't want it to come to you too much, just walk slowly toward it. As soon as it starts charging up a fire breath means you're now in range of the dmg, run back a bit and you will be safe, if you want to switch to the other end of the bridge, bait out the fire breath like you just did, as soon as it's safe, run straight at it, it will do another fire breath, run toward where it starts the attack and the fire will just go over your head and won't be able to hit you.
-After the Scarlet Rot ended, it will only have 50% health left, do another one of the "move to the other end of the bridge" but this time follow up with a Rotten Breath to proc Scarlet Rot again, you might need to do that 2 times for the Scarlet Rot to proc as this is the second time. But once it procs, just lie back and relax, you have won the fight.
