Ghiza's Wheel is a Colossal Weapon in Elden Ring. The Ghiza's Wheel scales primarily with Strength and Dexterity and is a good Weapon for dealing a great amount of Physical Damage, but would require Great Strength to handle as well. This weapon has a unique skill where it can be set to spin at top speed even while moving.
Great iron wheel lined with flesh-flaying blades. Device of torture used by Inquisitor Ghiza. As the wheel spins it causes severe pain and blood loss.
The design was adopted for use as the iconic weapon wielded by Iron Virgins.

It's a fun weapon until someone use it for a chainsaw glitch, and I can truly say that all glitch users are toxic and loser like
"Oh wow, I invaded and the host ganked me, so I'm gonna use this glitch."
"Oh wow, I'm too stupid to know how to counter that build, so I think it's op meta s*its and I'm gonna use this glitch."
"Oh wow, that guy doesn't fight me the way I want to, so I'm gonna use this glitch."
And now those losers even create their own community where everyone use this glitch to ruin others' enjoyment with these kinds of stupid reason.

The hitbox of the weapon art when you initially jam it into the ground has a stagger level of 0 in PvP, making it way harder to land any of the followup ticks of the spinning wheel.
- Anonymous
The weapon is confusing to me. Its low base damage and bleed makes it seem like they balanced it around the consecutive hit buffs, and yet it isn't even capable of activating them using the weapon art alone.
- Anonymous
With more passive bleed this thing could actually be pretty sick.
- Anonymous
each tick of the spinning wheel only does 0.3x status buildup, aka 21 bleed per hit

Have no idea why bloodhound’s fang is able to be enchanted but not this weapon, where the latter is already worse than the former under most circumstances.
- Anonymous
I wanna know the reasoning behind making the weapon art not trigger prosthesis AT ALL, even though they have specific control over how much hits contribute to a proc. They could have it just take a few seconds of continuous sawing to trigger consecutive hit buffs a single time.
- Anonymous
It just felt like they took the whirlygig saw from bb and said, 'Look guys! It's the whirlygig saw! We definitely care about bloodborne still!
- Anonymous
if it had a faster moveset like the godslayer gs then i'd understand the low base damage, but no, it has the stock standard slam into the floor moveset with some added spinny bits that do hardly anything for damage
- Anonymous
damage is pretty bad compared to most other colossals, the bleed isn't even that great compared to the speed
- Anonymous
Bad version of Pizza Cutter from Bloodborne. That weapon is OP like ****. But i have very mixed feelings about this Giza's wheel. It is too slow and clunky. I miss hunter's quicksteps.

1 handing this makes this one of the best weapons in pve. Make a Quality build, use buffs, have millicent prostheses and axe talisman, and you will destroy bosses with ez. Basically becoming a bleed/poise break build without any arcane investment, meaning ur doing pure insane damage + bleed. This makes me feel like im a over level NG+ character due to the sheer amount of damage and bleed build up. Powerful enemies like the omens also get stunned during the smallest tic during the heavy attack, so its great to just spam it or use it when an enemy is charging at u since it will hit them and inflect bleed. Would had been a good weapon if the R2 stunned players like pve enemies but it only stuns them only at the final part of the 1 handed heavy attack. Miyazaki, please just change it to where it can stun players like pve, landing a R2 is already pretty hard when using a colossal so make stop making it even more useless for pvp.

Honestly this should've been a STR/ARC weapon instead of quality

The method in which the strong attack hits seems to be wonky. The way people typically describe it, you would think it would be the main body of weapon first followed by the extra spinning hits. However, after going through an entire playthrough with the thing, it seems that the spinning hits take priority followed by the actual strong attack hit. This can be seen with grounded enemies where there's a minor build up of damage followed by a bigger burst (not bleed in this case and can be demonstrated on radagon). Depending on terrain/enemy, this quality sometimes results in strong attacks only registering the extra hits rather than main portion of the attack (i.e., only minor spinning damage instead of actual strong attack damage). Most notable enemies I noticed this issue on were Placidusax and Beast Clergyman. I speculate the issue on Placidusax is due to him having portions of himself not on the ground. I have no idea what's up with beast clergyman.

With the extra hits, swaddling clothe has instant proc with (un)charged r2s. It's a pretty fun way to play a drain tank kind of build.
- Anonymous
this weapons scaling is stupid, shouldve kept it the same from bloodborne

I was testing some insanely stupid Malenia strats today and found out this weapon's skill is weirdly good at stunning her. Not anywhere near consistent enough to be worth anything, but enough to be funny. Also if you poke her up close in the first part of Waterfowl Dance, it can bleed proc stun her out of it like the ice pots.

If i were to slightly buff it, i'd make the startup animation apply a small AoE of stagger, just like the ringed finger, so if used at point blank it'll combo into a single tick of the ash of war
- Anonymous
Its not a perfect solution, but you can use the r2 to build up damage with the winged sword insignia and then use the ash of war

its pretty easy to get this weapon very early in the game by getting vored by the teleporting iron maiden in raya lucaria, cheesing the duo boss with lightning bolts, then walking up to the manor. using it on a low level invader build currently
I've been having fun with this on my uncapped PvE character. Currently around 79 str and 60 dex and get ~850 1H AR with a little room for growth. 1st charged 1H heavy usually only does about 2k damage, but the 2nd will do 6-10k after bleed and talisman procs. I usually do the first attach uncharged to land the hit quicker, then follow with charged for big damage. This obviously only works in PvE. Yeah, other weapons can do this damage or more, but they aren't pizza cutters. I keep commander's standard in the offhand for buff, but it's also a nice poke for thrust counter to lead into heavies.
Talismans: Millicent's prosthetic, rotten sword, axe, Lord of Blood Exultation. Flask has Spiked and Thorny cracked tears. Only buff with the commander's standard, so there's probably room for more damage with some incantations or other buffs (FGMS)

the AOW doesnt trigger consecutive hit gear but the CHARGEABLE HEAVY ATTACK does

- Anonymous
The fact that Ash of War doesn't trigger Winger Sword Insignia doesn't make any ****ing sense.
- Anonymous
Why is a massive saw a quality weapon? Please improve the weapon skill, buff the AR, and give this thing an S in strength. It's what we deserve.
- Anonymous
It's criminal that it only spins when you use it one-handed and not two-handed. Fix that and maybe then it would be able to actually bleed something before the enemy dies.

Would this be a good Grind Blade for a Jack Batty/Vendetta build?

I'm going to role-play as a gardener and invade other people's worlds with this weapon, only to use the weapon art on all of the vegetation. I am Gardener Dave, Trimmer of Weeds. And I have never known a disappointing barbecue.

the fact that this don't activate consecutive hit buffs is criminal, its not like it true combos, unless you have like 3 poise or something lol

Trash weapon; should at least work with Millicent Prosthesis and Rotten Sword Insignia. Moveset dookie and slow. FromSoftware save this weapon

When you have a giant pizza cutter, everything counts as a pizza.

Not the biggest fan of colossal weapons other than colossal swords, but would definitely consider using this thing in another playthrough in the future.

Ah yes, the pizza cutter that carried me through Bloodborne. Good old times in the nightmare.

- Anonymous
what can this be buffed with as the page says can be enchanted with magic or consumables?
- Anonymous
I don't know why I never see it mentioned anywhere but this thing one handed is the way to go, specifically with the heavy attacks. 2-handed the heavy attack does a swing that leaves the blade spinning behind you, but one handed will swing the blade over and infront of you, leaving it in the place where it lands to continue doing damage with the saw.
I'm currently using this with the pulley crossbow offhand, and after reading the lore of Ghiza, the weapons, and the locations of the weapons i think the game even tries to hint you towards this with the weapons relatively low str requirement (for a colossal anyway).
Combine the 1 handed heavies with some charged damage increases like Axe Talisman and Spiked Crystal Tear, then some stacking damage bonuses like Millicent's Prosthesis and Rotten Winged Sword Insignia as well as the Thorny Cracked Tear, then put white mask on and Lord of Blood's Exultation and watch those heavy attack numbers go up and up and up and up!

You know what's good? This vs. Iron Virgins. They're cripplingly weak to their own weapon. Just run up, dodge about a half-second after the hatch opens to avoid the grab, then press and hold R2 and watch them melt.

How to hold the weapon art on keyboard & mouse? Doesn't seem to work.

Don't worry about dodging when using Ghiza's. Just roll up and start swinging. Stagger monster.

Needs a buff, especially in terms of its damage during the weapon art.

Hey dumb idea for someone to experiment with, mix Alexander’s shard, blood gods exult, Godfreys icon, and the carian crest. If anyone tries this leave a reply with the results. Thank you in advance

So, i've just changed to this weapon and something weird is happening. Using the Crimson Dagger Talisman to regain life with crits, i noticed that backstabs with the Wheel trigger the talisman two times. For now, i just tried on some miners. Ill try on other mobs to see if it keeps going. If anyone can, please double check to see if it happens to you as well.

Quality builds might not be the best anymore but they definitely get some awesome weapons
- Anonymous
can NOT be enchanted with spells, incants, or grease ;( still decent tho
- Anonymous
One uncharged strong attack (works with charged aswell) of this thing instantly procs thorny cracked tear, milicents prothesis, godskin swaddling cloth and rotten winged sword insignia due to the spinning, i recommend to one hand it since the one handed is a vertical attack (while two handed is horizontal) and its more consistent to proc these, this combo gives an insane dmg boost + self heal, only bad thing is that its slow but thats an issue with all colossal weapons so careful with aggressive enemies. Have fun :)

Get the highest poise possible (armor set, talisman, physick) and this bad boy absolutely shreds non-stop

The full 360 spin just feels so damn good. We Beyblades now.

Ngl, this weapon looks badass. Heavy as a mountain, but hits like one too.
This is what I'm talking about, now you're all set to slice some pizza and kill to your heart's content!

The one-handed R2 is really where this weapon shines. It ends the attack with the wheel spinning on them, dealing considerably more damage and usually proccing bleed. The two-handed R2 does a swipe instead and leaves the wheel spinning behind you, preventing you from getting that off. Switch to 2hand if you use the weapon art, but otherwise 1hand charge R2 for big damage.
- Anonymous
Scaling is almost perfect 50/50, so putting near equal str and dex will get the most damage out of it. Tried min/maxing with the rebuild mechanic, and with soft caps, 50/50 was the way to go.
- Anonymous
one day i want modders (or even from) to make the r2 the weapon art, then add bloodhound step, bloodborne moment
Some say this was Leonardo Da Vinci's rough draft of the first italian pizza cutter; very ahead of its time.
