The Best Tips for GODSKIN APOSTLE &GODSKIN NOBLE:

  • Godskin Apostle is found in spirit form and you must defeat them one on one. Godskin Apostle is not as aggresive as Godskin Noble, and you can notice it more when you fight him alone. He can be staggered which spells giving you lots of chances to perform comfortable melee attacks. At the next stage, he starts casting lots of area spells, and it's convinient to have a good spirit ash ally tanking him out so you can keep distance.

Godskin Noble appears after defeating the Apostle, and also appears in spirit form. On it's first stage, The Noble is not very good at ranged attacks, but it is very awkward to fight him at melee distance. He walks towards you very quickly and aggresively all the time. You can usee the trees around the arena to pivot around and gain more space. Godskin alos gets staggered and kneels down to take a breath, giving you a chance to perform a critical attack on him. At the next stage, it starts moving awkwardly for the player, it's very hard to predict his movement when it starts rolling around. The magic area attacks are very predictable and you only have to dodge back and stay away until the move finishes.

After defeating both of them, you must defeat Spirit-Caller Snail, which pretty easy oince the snail becomes visible.

I think these spirit versions of the godskins are immune to all status effects. I hit both of them with the antspur rapier as a summon at least 20 times through maybe 30s, no rot. Same with a cold Morningstar, whacked away for ages, no frostbite/blood loss. Are all spirit type enemies immune to statuses?

As of patch 1.03, I could not summon any ashes for the boss fight. Confirmed that I activated the summoning pool for the dungeon, too. Made the fight quite a bit more difficult as melee.

No cheesing allowed, the torch that shows invisible enemies doesn't reveal the snail: you still have to fight the duo.
