you would need over 10 full (699) of each one of these to max your character. or about 48 full (699) Lords runes. no wonder people use exploits to max faming the one spot near Mogh would take about 220 hours to max.

Anybody else keep a few of these in their inventory incase they're a few runes short of leveling up?
- Anonymous
Why isn't it mentioned that they spawn randomly on the ground, inside glowing skulls?

Eat them anywhere and anytime, sell to merchants when merchants are available to skip the eating animation - use only as needed for getting a lvl before areas/fights where it's likely you'll want to be able to die repeatedly without worrying about getting runes back.
Go from 'missing 5% for the next lvl, dont want to go fight baddies' to 'ahh, lvl up achieved, time to sacrifice my meagre fleshform ad nauseum!'.
Could really, really do with an update that included the specific rune amount on the item description for each tier.. until then, it's remembering off-hand or looking it up in places like here.

you can always go to santa at church of ella and while "selling" it tells you how much each one is worth

They really couldn't bother to add the amount of runes you get in the item description, huh? Each time I want to spend one I have to GUESS how much it gives, or search online, or find an in-game vendor...

Am I just retarded and blind, or is there really NO ITEM DESCRIPTION for these things that just plainly tells how much runes it gives on consumption? Are we supposed to remember it all by heart or go to a merchant every time we want to use one?
Like, if I'm close to a level up and don't want to waste runes, there is no way in-game of knowing which rune I should use, based on item description there and then? Or am I just blind and can't even get the menu navigation right? This game makes me feel like a failure ffs :(

They're scattered all over the map. If you see those glowing skulls, smash them and you can pick them up.
