You can get this cloak outside of the capital. I just had it drop from the shadow duelist in the Sainted Hero's Grave in Altus.

If you're a mage farming for this set, try Carian Piercer on the Duelists. You can easily chainstun them with it.

I wish you could put other chestpieces on with the cloak, I'd love to use the cloak for certain Elden Bling looks but not with the chest exposed

Got it 3rd try 256 disc, silver scarab and silver tear mask to really boost my chances on top of already high arcane

If you're trying to farm, I recommend using DragonMaw. You can stunlock them and leave them open for a crit.

why is the drop rate on this thing so mind numbingly low? I can open a hammer and helmet shop and have enough stock for the rest of my life but no cloak

I've killed each three times each on the way to corhyn I'd have liked the cape or hammer but got the helm instead, exactly the drop I didn't want. I don't think I can be arsed to farm them and hope RNGeusus smiles on me.

Ok, Got it after 33 runs in leyndell, had 201 discovery for the first 14 runs and 151 for the rest, my total spoils were: 4 Duelist's Greaves, 3 Duelist's helmets, 2 Duelist Greataxes, 1 Battle Hammer, and 1 cloak, the heck man, don't tell me the cloak has a lower drop rate, thats bust.

I got 2 cloaks in ~30 kills with 318 arcane (using fowl foot each run).

Can confirm I just got it from the 2 patrolling packs near the coliseum. Took around 5 hours at around 1 kill per minute. It's definitely unique and worth the grind.

Anybody figured out a way to put the damn hood up? Worst thing in a game that lets you cosmetically customize your character, having an item that clearly has a hood but does not let you put it up. For cryin' out loud, it's up in the picture!

Drop rate for this is abysmal, even with a 500 item discovery cheat still took me around 20 kills.

Is it strange that I have been farming the two by the Colosseum for roughly 2+ hours and haven't gotten any item drops? No armor, weapons or otherwise.

So this might be the most elusive item in the game. I did some thorough digging, and after looking at the putrid cloak which drops from a boss, I tried to trace this to the same variation without it being the putrid variant and no luck. Seemingly I've drawn the conclusion that this must drop from the scythe gravekeeper skeletons who also drop the grave scythe, specifically best farm near the lake-facing grace on Liurnia but couldn't get it to drop. It 'looks' like they wear it but I have no confirmation.

If anyone 'can' find this it would be helpful obviously. Until then the only variant confirmed is the putrid variant.
