Where to find Graven-School Talisman
- At Raya Lucaria Academy, from the Debate Parlor site of grace, head west and turn right before going down the stairs. You should see an empty bookshelf in front of you. Hit it to dispel the illusory wall, then follow the path. Go up the ladder (after picking up Comet from the chest and the Stonesword Key from behind the altar), head east, jump over the railing, and drop down through a hole. Drop down once more to find yourself in a room with many Living Jars; the talisman is next to the crystals. The door to the right leads back to the room below the one you started in, containing multiple Glintstone Sorcerers and a Giant Living Jar. [Map link] [Video location]

Interesting
Elden ring's Graven-School Talisman:
"primeval current is a forbidden tradition of glintstone sorcery"
Dark soul II's Astrologist set:
"magical powers can be obtained at moments of special heavenly alignment. Even the collective wisdom of the Melfian Magic Academy cannot pull magic out of the sky"

LOL Int and Faith users hate the 4% damage increase version of their talismans
The point of this is that early game you don't have to take more damage to get more damage when this paradigm is most useful.
Later on, when you're beefier, trading additional damage taken for more damage done will work especially on Int Sniper Spell Builds (Moon\Comet\Loretta spells).

Guys, unless you’re hellbent on making a glass cannon OHK built or something, those 4% are useless in comparison with both defensive and offensive buffs you get from other actually good talismans.

You go through the entire secret wall labyrinth for just 4%??

Everything stacks multiplicatively in elden ring. So think again before you say it's bad. Let's take an example shall we? [4% from graven school]*[8% from graven mass]*[12% from magic Scorpio]*[10% from ritual sword]*[20% from magic tear]*[7.5% from golden vow Ash of war]*[20% from jelly fish shield] = 1.04*1.08*1.12*1.1*1.2*1.075*1.2 = HOLY MOLY +114% damage boost!!! A pebble dealing 300 damage before will do 642 damage!!

Even if this talisman isn't the best. It works for me in the early game. Shoutout to the summon who showed me where to find it.

wow, 4%? That's literally nothing, waste of slot. Why do they even bother with these. Imagine doing 1040 damage instead of 1000 damage, lol.
Glintstone Pebble - 93 to 97 (4%)
Carian Slicer - 113 to 118 (4%)
It could be cool for saving FP, if hits are leaving enemies with 1% HP.

Unless you are desperate for every last point of damage this thing is a joke. Not worth the slot.

Incredibly sh... Good. Wow 4% for 1 talisman slot. Amazing trade-off

Pro tip: neither this talisman, nor its higher level counterpart, affects weapon-buffing sorceries.

A safe talisman to use, but out of all the sorcery-damage increasing talismans to choose from this is at the bottom of the priority list.
4% increase. Stacks with Graven-Mass Talisman and Magic Scorpion Charm.
Did some testing, around 4% gain as others have noted, seems to stack additively with the Graven-Mass Talisman for a total of ~12%

So this is the end of sorceress Sellen and what she becomes.
I wonder why this happens to mages that tap the current.

This talisman does NOT work on Scholar's Armament, the sorcery weapon buff. It's worth noting that catalyst sorcery scaling DOES affect Scholar's Armament.
Unbuffed weapon damage: 248
Scholar's Armament with GST: 319
Scholar's Armament without GST: 319
Tested on Raya Lucaria zombies on a Great Scythe with 45 INT.

It's actually 3.5%, not 4%.
