If you don't want to deal with the suggested Caelid location, or haven't unlocked it yet, try north of the Artist's Shack in Limgrave. It has about 3 near the pond (and two lesser bears)

Circling Agheel Lake on horseback usually gets me a large amount. I use the Wraith Calling Bell to prevent aggro from other enemies such as The Giant Crabs.

        • I'm a little sad that these don't have an arrow you can craft out of them. Shooting magically-reanimated dragonfly heads would be kind of cool.

Farming: From Caelid swamp, Inner Aoenia site of grace, travel west a few paces and you will find 4 to farm. Easily done with a black bow.

I'm so glad Remove Poison and Fire Cleanse Me! have such low stat requirements so I don't need to farm these annoying bugs.

A good place I found to farm them:Go to Caelid, in the Heart of Aeonia Site of grace.Go a bit south east, and you will find 5 big dragonflys.Kill them, loot and repeat, they are very close to the Site.

I’m almost 100% sure these are based on dobsonflies. The heads are identical and the bodies are more alike than dragonflies in my opinion. Just wondering if dragonfly sounded cooler haha
