Chest Armor Wgt. 8.8

Guardian Garb (Full Bloom) is a Chest Armor in Elden Ring. Guardian Garb (Full Bloom) is part of the Guardian Set Armor Set, and  is the armor worn by the Guardians found around various Minor Erdtrees. Guardian Garb (Full Bloom) is an armor piece worn over or around the player's torso to obtain an increase of defense and resistance. It also changes the appearance as well when it is equipped. Some armor pieces may be available to both genders but may be slightly different for male and female characters.

Engraved golden garb.
Worn by the guardians of the Minor Erdtrees.

Raises the HP recovery effects of the Flask of Crimson Tears, but greatly lowers fire damage negation.

It is said that the blood-red flowers blooming on their backs mark the senescence of their ancient pact. Perhaps the guardians are part tree already

Where to find Guardian Garb (Full Bloom) in Elden Ring

The Guardian Garb (Full Bloom) Chest Armor can be found at:

  • Drops from the Guardians with large flowers found near the Erdtree Sanctuary site of grace, in Leyndell Royal Capital.
  • Does NOT currently drop from the blooming Guardians near the Minor Erdtree Church.

I had nine swordspears, four helmets, three bracers and two greaves before I managed to get this while farming for it. Seems awfully rare.

just spent like 30 minutes trying to get it from the minor erdtree church… wish i checked this page out first

The percentage is wrong. I'm seeing abour 10% more health gained when wearing the bloom than not. Its way more than 1.5%

          • Anonymous

The -Fire negation isn't that bad.....till you consider the average armor would give you ~+15% - this is essentially -12 to - 17% fire negation.

            ....This armor is lit doh...

Upon my name as godfrey! The first elden lor- wait why the hell are you wearing that?

This is my ass kicking outfit *****

I nearly lost my drop of this because the guardian It dropped from slipped off the branches and I KNEW it was dropping this because of the Purple shine. Thankfully, it landed on the cliff below with the Miranda sprouts but It was a REAL close one. Stuff like that makes me wish you could get the stuff they drop via going back to the title and loading back in with it being where they originally locate like you could in Souls.

I'm thinking that the ones near the minor erdtree church are probably glitched. They'd be the only way to get it after the story event and there's no reason for them to drop the normal chestpiece despite having the bloomed model. Hopefully this either gets addressed or fixed.

                  • Can confirm that despite being blooming, the guardians at the Minor Erdtree Church don't drop it for some reason. Been farming for 40 minutes, they keep dropping the normal version.
So yeah, it's a missable set piece.

                    • This may be obvious to some, but as near as I can tell, this becomes unavailable post change to the Capital. There are no guardians there anymore that I could find.

as soon as i saw the guardians i was praying i could get their flower growth for myself, so happy you can. peak fashion souls.

so... im PRETTY SURE you have to damage them and let them "bloom" to actually get the full bloom garb, ive been farming them for about an hour with everything except that dropping, i started letting them bloom because i didnt know they did that and one did it on me, and i got it on the first run at lyndell.

this ONLY drops from the guardians in leyndell before your burn down the tree. after that all the roots they spawn on are gone and you will need to wait until ng+ to get this chest.

I've been farming the ones around Minor Erdtree Church for 30 min and they don't drop it (despite having flowers on there backs) so, as mentionned below, it might only be the ones in Leyndell who drop it
It sucks because I've reached the end game and they are not there anymore...

                              They drop golden centipedes tho

The guardians have bloom mechanics. Look closely at their backs. Sometimes they red flower has bloomed and allows for this drop. I'm not sure all of the variables involved, but I actually saw one use a move that made it bloom and fully heal itself. Several near the Erdree Sanctuary grace in the capital are bloomed for me.

it seems like this only drops from the guardians in leyndell, ive farmed the ones in caelid & the plateau and they refuse to drop it. if anyone can report otherwise it would be much appreciated

                                  • Anonymous

I tested this with a 10+ flask upgrade. And it only increased the heal by roughly 1.5%. Which was effectively an 11HP difference, so in my opinion not worth it. I haven't tested it with less flask upgrades, could be that it counts as a flask upgrade.

Drops from the Guardians on the tree roots leading to the Erdtree Sanctuary grace in Leyndell
Boosts crimson tears healing while reducing fire resistance by about 10%.
