Hermit Merchant (Mountaintops of the Giants) can be found on a cliff, south of Stargazers' Ruins in Mountaintops of the Giants.
- Starting from Snow Valley Ruins Overlook site of Grace, travel West until you reach a bridge that's slightly heading South-East.
Cross the bridge and immediately travel the path on the right (slight drop down). The merchant should be at the end of the path. - If defeated, drops: Hermit Merchant's Bell Bearing [2].

AnonymousIt should be noted that the directions arent exactly clear: both bridges are heading slightly south east. One is east south east, and one is south south east. From the snow valley ruins overlook site of grace, travel west past the first bridge, and cross the second bridge and drop down on the right

the bridge to the left of the grace or the bridge Goldmask and Goldmask's simp are standing on?
While I don't prefer attacking friendly npcs, you really just better off killing this one for the bell bearing and have a direct access to lightning greatbolts in the roundtable. The location is just atrocious
