I just tried using this on the skeletons in auriza hero's grave, I didn't know they were in there so that worked out great for me. At least the chariots don't respawn, but I've had to use a spell slot for litany of proper death that could have been better used for something that might have helped me with the boss fight. Anyone have any idea what the logic is in having grease that adds holy damage to a weapon but doesn't stop undead from resurrecting?

Pretty bad for general use. Its one niche is being usable on treespear, an uninfusable great spear with innate holy damage. Getting order's blade is probably better, but this is a nice option for faith users who want to remain unintelligent.

How... how does this make any sense...?
Not only does this require Golden Sunflowers (the ones that are only found in Altus Plateau btw), it also doesn't prevent skeletons from ressurecting?
How is that you are just better off chucking Holy Water Pots at creatures than coating your weapon with holy grease? This item is so useless, it's not even funny.

Who knew butter was called “Holy Grease” in the Lands Between.

What even is the point of this if it doesn't stop undead from resurrecting. 85 extra holy damage, woop woop, I'm sure the Deathrite Bird is going to crap its pants over this!

Does it stop skeletons from resurrecting when killed when this applied?

Grease gives a set amount of attack power. Grow less effective the further you get into the game they never grow beyond the small amount they give.

Lasts 60 seconds. Not great, but it's often better than using the FP. I have a few hundred I use on my Treespear. It's perfect for getting some easy damage when you want to conserve mana.
The new changes to the Great Club in now adds another inate faith, holy weapon that can be buffed. Slap Holy Grease (or Order’s Blade) onto the Great Club and stack it with Golden Vow and bonk anyone who stands in your holy presence.
