They probably found it form the database ,so it's currently unobtable

Maybe he doesn't drop this if you get a verbal confession from him before he dies? I let Blaid out of the evergaol then went to ask him what the hell he did that for. Talked to him again after defeating Blaidd and he mentioned that he would join him soon and apologize. When he died he only left his helm, no note.

Well, for me Blaidd never went to prison. I had to kill him anyway as he still went rogue. Iji's however still referred to misjudging him. So the question is... Who let the dogs out?!

Iji's corpse is present for me, but not this item. I did go through dialogue when finding Blaidd in the Evergaol though. Is this one of the items that's in-game and is there a condition for locating it when Iji dies?
I got it when he died after I told him about Blaidd. My game isn't updated so maybe it's only in base game? Either way I have it lol
