    • Much more useful for switching to when you are sunbroing near lake of rot, since you don't have that many flasks and can save fp by casting FCM on islands (without that talisman you might occasionaly get rot)

This + Mushroom Set + regen + an occasional Flame, Cleanse Me makes for a very easy Lake of Rot without needing a ton of boluses.

I wish they can bring back the rotten ancestor spirit instead of the kindred of rot. It makes more sense from a lore standpoint and they are more enjoyable to fight.

The fact that Ancestral Follower drops immunity-boosting talisman may somewhat justify why he isn't dead in the first place. But it looks soooo silly that this guy is walking waist-deep in the rot in such a godforsaken place. He has zero business doing up there.

clutch for lake of rot. I keep invading ganks there and its so useful to be able to wade through the slop for a few more seconds

If anybody is curious how worthwhile boosting your immunity is, I tested this just now:
Mushroom crown, full mushroom armor, immunizing horn charm+1, mottled necklace+1, speckled hardtear physick, and immunizing cured meat.
It took 12 seconds to get rotted from standing in Lake of Rot.
To compare, with only raging wolf armor and no other boosts, it takes about 3.5 seconds.

I wouldn't say this is worth the trouble considering you can just run and heal through the damage and get everywhere you need to go before you die

Killed mini-boss in Lake of Rot. Died to rot damage right after never got charm. Why is it on the body vs a reward for killing it?

If im reading it correctly it simply gives you longer resist bars for rot and poison which is why you see them draining a bit when you first equip it, thats the delta (benefit) draining away. So its not complete immunity, and doesnt appear to make much difference initially

Does not appear to affect the immunity rating on player status - so unsure how much difference this makes in addition to the immunity provided by Armor. Also when you add it it clearly shows rot and poison bars for a few seconds so I imagine they are the only conditions it helps with which may be why the overall immunity number is not adjusted as that would affect death, madness and other conditions.

I killed the wondering Ancestral Follower and it did not drop the +1. I think I died right as I killed him before going through the lake and that may have bugged out the drop.

Confirmed +1 variant is found in the Lake of Rot by killing the Ancestral follower SE of the Lake of Rot Shore Grace. Recommend standing on a few small islands in-between him and the grace to prevent rot and killing him from range. You will still have to go into the lake to get it off his corpse though.

Seems useless I have both of them equipped + Mushroom set armor with high immunity and it doesnt really help with the Scarlet Rot in Lake of rot. When wearing all this it should make much more resistant to the damage. Maybe they need to increase its effectiveness.

+1 version found in Lake of Rot after killing the ancestral follower patrolling on the left side of it. Adds 140 immunity instead of the base one’s 90.
