Imp Head (Fanged) is a Helm in Elden Ring. Imp Head (Fanged) is an individual piece and doesn't belong to any set. Imp Head (Fanged) protect the player's head by applying various defensive properties, it also changes the appearance as well when it is equipped. Some armor pieces may be available to both genders but may be slightly different for male and female characters.
Head covering made from the largely unaltered head of an impish golem.
Resembling a fanged demon, it holds trace amounts of bestial strength.

I got lucky. Went with eccentric armor, mimic helmet and waves of gold. Got this and celebrants sickle tonight. : )

It took me about 450 imps at 196 discovery to finally get this at Wyndham. Now that I’ve put all that time into it I’m never taking it off.

This was the final boss of random drops for me, after having every other armor piece and weapon in the game I had only this left. I've farmed many 0.5% drops before, and there was 4 imps per run, along with having 300 discovery with the fowl feet, it couldn't be that bad right?
3 hours straight of the same ****ing runback was spent trying to get this godforsaken head armor; I said many things to cheer myself up through the process and even promised to repent my sins to RN jesus, but it was all in vain, nothing helped to make my chances any better obviously.
By the end I felt like a shell of my former self and it's a great deal of time I'll never get back, but I got it. I ****ing got it guys.

Farmed for half an hour in Wyndham Catacombs, finally dropped by the first and only imp killed by guillotine and not by me

Dont give up guys, Wyndham Catacombs for the last 2+ hours, but god knows I have completed the collection.

Got it today in Wyndham Catacombs. But I think I had at least 100 rund, with item discovery 250

so are these imps similar to the marionettes? it doesn't say its a 'mask' but rather the unaltered head of an imp. Not to mention all of them hold trace amounts of...well i don't know, whatever they built for i guess. The feline imps were maybe created as companions for mages since they have intellect. Then again maybe they were made for the express purpose of giving them these energy's and killing them, in attempt to seal said energy and allow another to benefit from it? Raya Lucaria is known for wearing rocks

Guaranteed drop from a corpse before the bossfight. Go through the whole dungeon.

Which Imps in the Cliffbottom Catacombs drop these? First two look like Cat Heads to me, the third one is a Wolf Head. I had good luck so far farming all the heads I don't want. T.T

I got mine this morning from wyndham catacombs by farming the four imps mentioned in the "where to find" here. It dropped for me on the third run so I got the imp head after killing less than twelve imps. That's a proper bargain considering how many times in total I had to kill the imp standing on the platform opposite the underground roadside grace in the shunning grounds for the long-tongued head. RNGesus really does work in mysterious and frustrating ways.

I spent hours with my first mage trying to get this to drop. No luck. Just started a new mage after completing the game and guess what? Yep. First 10 kills or so and the hat drops! Go figure.
Wyndham Catacombs was much faster for me farming this helm. Using Beast's Roar on a decently upgraded weapon, with Roar Medallion almost one shots these imps. First 3 imps can be yelled down easily from outside their attack range. Last one you can target lock around the corner and shout before it aggros. First time I've used Beast's Roar: nice range, some stagger and even a little splash damage! 9/10 would BWAAAA again.

About 32 kills at Wyndham Catabombs. See other comments. Definitely recommend to beat the boss and send the elevator back up each time. Discovery 274. Arcane 99 with the scarab.
- Anonymous
I always read the comments seeing people struggle and seeing people getting it easy. In this case I was the latter, as it dropped from a roof imp in the capital...didn't realise just how many imp heads there are until now as I never looked but its amazing the variety.

After +2 hrs farming. 190 discovery scarab talismán+mimic mask. I can confirm drop Wyndham catacombs method stated comments below. Hard drop almost quit this time.

After 6 hours of farming im so happy to say i finally got hundreds of forked hatchets and fireflies

3 of the Imp Head (Cat) and about 12 forked hatchets before I got this in the first room with imps in the Cliffbottom Catacombs

1200+ kills (300+ runs of the route) at 243 discovery in Wyndham catacombs and still no deop. I think this is bugged.

This may be my favorite helm in the game, it lets me roleplay as a goblin fighting to raise above their stature. I love it so much <3

Wyndham Catacombs, Kill the boss (allows fast travel back to grace).
Go down elevator, send elevator back up, go to next room, kill 2 imps, go to next room, kill 2 imps, fast travel back to grace. Rinse, Repeat.
Took me 7 runs: Arcane 8, Silver Tear Mask, Marika's Soreseal, Silver Scarab = 196 Discovery. For reference the left one in the first room is who dropped it.
Does this actually drop? I've been farming for five hours with 230 discovery and I got nothing

Is this one easier to get than the cat version? I got wolf and fanged. Was aiming to collect them all but maybe not if they're all pretty rare.
Wyndham Catacombs (1st four imps). About 485 kills with 274 Discovery. Never again! >.<

Really quick way to farm this:
Ride the elevator down at Cliffbottom Catacombs. Immediately send the elevator back up. Kill the two imps while wearing talismans and equipment that boost Arcane. If you don't move past this area you can teleport right back to the Cliffbottom Catacombs grace and go again. While this means you can't use the Pickled Fowl, I think it's worth it just for the speed increase and not having to wait a billion years for the elevator to carry me up and down, up and down, up and down.
Took me 52 kills to get (324 discovery) on wyndham catacombs.

Ez farm. wyndham catacombs. go down elevator, before getting off send it back up (trust me you will be glad) First room with blade has 2 of the required imps with the face necessary for the fanged to drop. (these are the bomb throwers and are very few in any of the catacombs) kill these 2 go into the next room kill 3 more. Used max arcane, silver scarab talisman, item find foot, took a few runs through. also just warp to start from menu (i believe this requires beating the boss in dungeon)
- Anonymous
I got one at Road's End Catacombs, run all the way to the dead end of the dungeon and there's 2 of these guys left and right of the door. Using the silver fowl foot right before that room I was able to get at least 6 kills per run.

There are really bad farms (rotten crystal staff, watchdog GS, envoys greathorn) and then there is this ********

If you haven't opened the seal on Albinauric Rise yet (requires you to summon fanged imps and help them kill the imps that spawn), I'd suggest trying to farm it at Albinauric Rise in the consecrated snowfield region of mountaintops of the giants. The spectral fanged imps that spawn there won't give you exp, but so far they have dropped forked hatchets (yay...) and smithing stone 7s. I pop a silver fowl foot, summon a mimic and keep killing them til they stop spawning (somewhat before the fowl foot expires), then fast travel back to inner consecrated snowfield and ride back to the tower. Fanged Imps are the only type that spawn there, making it a better spot, imo, than cliffbottom catacombs, which only have a few.

It's fairly heavy but it's one of the best helmets in terms of mitigation and stats. Plus it looks hilarious when you wear it
- Anonymous
Took about 3 hours with max item discovery, scarab talisman and silver foot but it finally dropped from the 1 Imp that has it in Cliffbottom Catacombs.
Imo this is the rarest drop of all the helmets (without concrete drop statistics yet)

Got it from the Shunning Grounds imps across from the bonfire during NG+, I assume it drops from Imps that have a similar face.
