Imp Head (Wolf) is a Helm in Elden RingImp Head (Wolf) is a Heavyweight armor that provides a good balance of defensive properties. Imp Head (Wolf) protects the player's head by applying various defensive properties, it also changes the appearance as well when it is equipped. Some armor pieces may be available to both genders but may be slightly different for male and female characters.

Head covering made from the largely unaltered head of an impish golem.
Resembling a wolf, it holds trace amounts of lupine endurance.

Where to find Imp Head (Wolf) in Elden Ring

The Imp Head (Wolf) Helm can be found at:

  • Drops from Forked Greatsword wielding Wolf-Headed Imps in Catacombs
  • Minor Erdtree Catacombs: Body laying over a sarcophagus. A quick way to reach it is taking the lift at the beginning of the dungeon down, sending it back up, then dropping down into the room below. From there, head down the rot filled hallway and take the first right. Go straight and in the next room climb up the ladder on the right. The body with the helmet will be straight ahead at the end of the hallway. See it on the Elden Ring Map Here.

The best PvE/PvP build call the BEASTMASTER with 35 VIG 22 MIN 45 END 75 STR 75 DEX 10 INT 8 FAI 9 ARC BEASTMASTER wields the 3 best bows the Redbranch Shortbow, the Albinauric Bow and the Legendary Lion Greatbow from Radahn himselft the conqueror of the stars with the best arrows of each element and the Radahn spears. BEASTMASTER uses the beast champion armor with the imp wolf mask (uwu) or the blue silver armor set for feet enjoyers like Miyazaki himselft xd, with the Radagon´s Soreseal, Rotten winged, and both arrow sting and reach talismans you will be the beast archer in elden ring. Finally in the Flask of Wondrous Physick use Crimson bubble tear and thorny cracked tear for peak performance, you will dominate in pvp with BEASTMASTER from range being the king of mag and invasions if you ever see more than 1 BEASTMASTER in a gank sever ur finger irl because u will never win the fight. finally dont forget ur epic companions Wolfpack , Stormhack and Warhack Spirit ashes to dominate even the hardest bosses from range. This is my favorite build and personally think you should try the BEASTMASTER

People who say this looks stupid are just wearing it on the wrong armor. I'm wearing this with kaiden armor and it looks fine.

Way easier/more efficient farm than Minor Erdtree Catacombs is Road's End Catacombs in Liurnia, south of the Minor Erdtree (Liurnia Southwest). Grace --> kill the imp right next to it --> reset, all under 20 seconds!

I'm not 100% sure now where I got it from, but I have the wolfs head imp mask, and I do know I did not get it from minor erdtree catacomb in caelid and I know it wasn't a drop from one of the imps either.

I wish there was the option to dye armor pieces since the Green stone doesn't work with many Armor sets and if I could, I'd make this red so I could make a Pseudo Vengarl set.

If you don't get a drop you can pick it up in the Minor Erdtree Catacombs in Caelid - definitely a maidenless dungeon though I didn't bother completing the boss after clearing it.

I rushed through the Minor Erdtree Catacombs to get these a few hours into the game. Ran past most of the imps while taking out the ones I needed to. Great helm in general, but esp when you’re low leveled and just cheese your way to it really quick.

An absolutely awesome headpiece, which sadly looks like a dirty rock in the shape of a creepy head. I've been running with it for most of the game now as I keep having to revert back to it whenever I try something else, as it gives so much bang for your buck weight wise (even excluding the bonus stamina). I just change it everytime I make a nice scenery screenshot.

                      • When optimizing for 61 poise for minimum weight, this helmet sucks. However, if you're optimizing for highest negations and resistances for each point in END invested (say if your goal is +.4-.5% average across physical negations), this is pretty inarguably the best helmet in the game for that, at least for up to 75 poise (otherwise, you're better off with veteran's helm). Compare it to the duelist helm, the 2nd most weight efficient helm for physical resistances at higher poise levels (1st being beast champion helm), and for -.3 slash negation, you get way more elemental negation and much better resists, and the 2 free END covers the 1.9 weight difference (unless you're not holding great jar + erdtree +2 and if your base END is between 26-38). I highly recommend it for any build that isn't skimping out on defensive stats, especially in pvp where it matters more.

Ok I’m at a loss. Idk why it happens but for some reason this helmet isn’t showing the increase. In the menu when I swap helmets, the preview shows the equip load going up but not the stamina. Even the stamina buff icon pops up, but still there is no increase in stamina. My endurance stat still goes up by the 2 points but I don’t know why the stamina doesn’t. I’m at 50 stamina and to my knowledge the softcap is at 60 now so it’s not because I’ve hit the softcap. Is it bugged? Or is it maybe a different effect for the stamina?

Isn't this helmet straight up better than any other helmet? It has amazing defensive stats, and its heavy weight is compensated by increasing endurance.

Also, counts as "Wolf" equipment in aggroing Blaidd in Mistwood Ruins.

Seems a little overkill to me, but maybe seen as mocking? Whatever...
