Intelligence-knot Crystal Tear is a Crystal Tear in Elden Ring. Crystal Tears can be mixed in the Flask of Wondrous Physick to enhance its effect.
A crystal tear formed slowly over the ages where the Erdtree's bounty falls to the ground.
Can be mixed in the Flask of Wondrous Physick.
The resulting concoction boosts one's intelligence for a certain duration.
INTELLIGENCE-KNOT CRYSTAL TEAR LOCATION IN ELDEN RING
Where to Find Intelligence-knot Crystal Tear:
- From Road to the Manor Site of Grace, get to the bottom of the cliff (directly East) and follow the cliff's wall North. Guarded by a few Lesser Fingercreepers and one Fingercreeper. [Map Link]
- Note: Despite the map showing a road down from the Main Caria Manor Gate grace point, there is no safe path to reach the knot from here as it's actually a very tall cliff. Instead, if you go to the east side of the nearby Kingsrealm Ruins, you will have a cliff that is at a low enough height to safely drop from.

- Notes and player tips go here
- You can find Crystal Tears at the bases of Minor Erdtrees and elsewhere throughout the Lands Between
- At sites of grace, you can mix two crystal tears in the Flask of Wondrous Physick (This will allow you to create elixirs with various custom effects)

You can also get to it from the lake, riding North from Sorcerer's Isle, and cut West at the last bit of ruins. There are wolves at the shoreline and map shows the road meeting the shore.

Combine with Magic-Shrouding Cracked Tear early on for insane damage on Magic Pots, of all things - easily over 480 damage to the Red Wolf of Radagon from a distance. It's just total annihilation. The scaling for those cute little throwable items ramps up DRAMATICALLY from the very start of the game, so compensating for your low level with an instant 10 Intelligence lets you pump Vigor and still deal super respectable damage to anything standing in your way.
With 70 Intelligence and a fully upgraded Azur's Glintstone Staff, +10 intelligence increases your Sorcery Scaling from 320 to 362, which is an exactly 13.125% increase (specifically for your casted spells, the scaling values for melee weapons are very different.) This is a bigger percentage boost than (for example) the 10% negation boost from the Opaline Hardtear, or the 12.5% magic damage boost from the Magic-Shrouding Cracked Tear. This is to say that it is very viable to utilize this tear to reallocate 10 points from Intelligence to be put into other stats instead if you need them, I recommend Vigor until you reach 60 regardless of your build, Endurance to wear heavier armor to reach a minimum of 88 Poise to not be bullied by Curved Swords, and some extra Mind to help offset the 20% FP cost increase from using Azur's Glitnstone Staff. Perhaps this isn't as amazing as the Cerulean Hidden Tear, but this is something I would think some builds would heavily appreciate having as an option, specifically builds that are struggling to remain at "meta" PvP levels (139 to play with both the 125 crowd and the 150 crowd.)

One thing I love about these tears is they allow you to test new gear/spells without having to respec.

There's a safe drop down right at the northern lakeward side of the Kingsrealm Ruins by our boy's site of grace or the shoreline path to it's east is fine.
Riding up the outcrop ramp between the cliff and lake, there's an arteria leaf. With back facing the lake you can target a small hand on a jut of stone. Dropping down to the stone, turn right into the gulley and the second raised area on the left has a pair of small hands and a large one that's buried near the sap-collection vessel which holds the tear.

Found it easier to start from the ravine site of grace. Much safer option.

Why bother telling people to start at the Road to the Manor site of Grace if the drop down the Cliff is fatal? Why not tell them to start at the Northern Liurnia Lake Shore Grace, where it’s safer?

As of patch 1.05, when I use this item my damage on rock sling is lower then before using flask...is this a bug? Can someone confirm this bug?

The interwebs said to mix Intelligence-Knot Crystal Tear and Cerulean Crystal Tear together for big gains early on.
Later will want to switch to Magic Shrouding Cracked Tear/Cerulean Crystal Tear for higher dps. https://eldenring.wiki.fextralife.com/Magic-Shrouding+Cracked+Tear

Just turn back from Iji, walk by the cliff to the side eventually you can drop off without taking dmg

I guess it's worth pointing out that the int bonus won't allow you to cast any spells that you otherwise couldn't. Even if you drink the potion, the spell is still crossed out with a red x and uncastable.
If you're doing PvP, get your int to 70 and run this in your flask. Free 10 points to allocate somewhere else

From Northern Liurnia Lake Shore grace, the path is considerbly easier, you don’t need to fall off a cliff.

Don't know if it was with the recent patch or not, but my map doesn't show a path like the screenshot above

its not a "half-bowl" like the ones everywhere else in the game its a small bowl, under the cliff in the corner as close to the crossroad as you can get

there is a yellow mark on the map where you need to get up to see the tears they are at the bottom under the label

Along with the other "knot" type crystal tears, this should grant 10 Intelligence (For 3 minutes according to another commenter).
Every non-mage fav physick to progress with the Goldmask quest.
