Elden Ring Iron Whetblade Notes & Tips
- If you've missed this item: From the Rampart Tower Grace, head south all the way down the hall and take the lift on the left (east side) down and head north into the great hall with all the hanging bodies and the Grafted Scion, where you must immediately turn left (north west) and take the door out too a courtyard. Here you will see the imp statue locked door mentioned above

Right past U. T. Spirit boss room. Climb ladder and drop, open imp gate, boom done.

I somehow miss this every time, you think I'd know better by now

The contraption that leads down to the great hall part does not work, do you have to beat Godrick the grafted first?

I may have accidently sold it before I knew what it was. Any idea how to re-buy it again as I can’t find where I sold it!

You can also get there by making a risky jump across a gap between two roofs outside of rampart tower

I'm in love with how much freedom this game is giving me, even when I don't yet understand the mechanics perfectly. Definitely doing better in terms of upgrades than I did in my first dark souls run

It's the North Western Door, not the South Western Door. I went the convoluted long way around because that 1 detail was not made clear

can this be applied to ranged weapons?? Heavy scalling on Short bows??

I have been playing for about 70 hours on a strength build and didn't even know about this.

From another post here I tried to see if you can access it from the other side.
> Can confirm its white on both sides you need to use the stonesword key.
> Location: from Rampart Tower exit to birds and jump to the roofs on the right side. Theres some other items, a gesture, drowsey sleep, and claw talisman if you explore this further (claw talisman you gotta run along one of the gold thin roof banisters)

It seems you can enter the room via its balcony by dropping down to the rats on the roof. I only did try this after already using the Stonesword Key. Can anyone confirm whether or not the balcony door also has a fog? That would make that imp statue skippable.

Is it not for allocating whatever affinities you've discovered? I'm fairly certain I can select e.g. magic affinity after finding at least one magic affinity ashes. It appears you can't change affinity of the original ashes associated with the weapon though (e.g. can't have unsheathe on the uchi with magic scaling)

so for example, can i apply heavy scaling for a magic ash of war with that?
