Torrent is short, dies easily, gets staggered by a walking corpse with a torch, you can't summon him in certain wide-open areas like the ashen capital, you can't fight the Elden Beast and Plasidoodsex on him, the former being a stupid chase simulator without Torrent, and dexterity doesn't actually make it harder for enemies to knock you off of him, it's most likely bugged and it hasn't been fixed in over a year.

Would be cool if they added a special mounted combat mode...

I cannot believe I’ve not known about this throughout 2/3 of my playthru!!

Meta defining item. It's crazy how one talisman could make such a big difference. You'd think it's a bad idea.

I wonder why this isnt a running attack talisman, that would have been actually useful

It says it doesn’t effect now attacks, and my expectations are already low for this weapon type, but ballistae have some sort of horseback attack where you hit someone physically with the ballistae, I will test if this works and then get back to you

I wish this had two effects instead of one. Considering that you can't use horses in co-op this talisman 100 % becomes useless once you start helping a friend. So it would be quite nice if they added one type of buff for being on the ground and one when you're on the horse.
It almost feels like you were supposed to be able to use horses in co-op considering how this thing exists, but yet it is not possible and I still want them to change it so you can use horses in co-op.
Oh well, until then this is just a very fun gimmick talisman.

Northeast of death touched catacombs , go under the ruined bridge and will be on a dead body sitting on the bones of a giant

Close to the northern most point of the hill. It can be found on a sitting corpse amongst some rubble.

Why the hell doesn’t this affect bows? This would’ve made my Mongolian archer build so much better…

This is really strong with heavy weapons on horseback with your charge attacks, I remember using it against unnerfed radahn and I was chunking.

It's North of the Saintsbridge site of grace. Warp to the grace and get on top of the cliff to your North. Head North,cCross under the Divine Bridge and head east. There's a Golem nearby that will wake. From where the Golem is sleeping head directly east and you'll see it on some poor dead souls seated corpse.

Enjoying this with the lance for my jousting character. Are there any other themed items that affect mounted combat? Only other items I can think of are the raisins.
