Summons the spirit of Latenna the Albinauric
|
Latenna the Albinauric is a Spirit and Summon in Elden Ring. Latenna the Albinauric is a ranged support unit that deals magic damage with a bow. She acts as a "turret" as she is not able to move from the location she is summoned, unless near an enemy Direwolf which she has the ability to use as a mount. She is able to cast Freezing Mist while mounted, similar to the Albinauric Wolfback Archer enemies encountered in the Consecrated Snowfield.
Latenna the Albinauric can also be found as an NPC in Elden Ring. For more information, see Latenna.
Ashen remains in which spirits yet dwell. Use to summon the spirit of Latenna the Albinauric.
A rare case of one who chose to become a spirit voluntarily.
Latenna was renowned as a deft magic archer. But having lost her beloved wolf companion, Lobo, she cannot move from the place where she was summoned.
Where to find Latenna the Albinauric
Where to Find Latenna the Albinauric
- Liurnia of the Lakes, Slumbering Wolf's Shack, found at the end of Lakeside Crystal Cave upon defeating the boss.
- In order for Latenna to be friendly and become a spirit, one has to have the Haligtree Secret Medallion (Right), given to the player by Albus at the Village of the Albinaurics. [Map Link]
- Alternatively, Latenna may be found dead if one progressed too far and missed out her quest. For this instance, one can still obtain her spirit ashes at the same location by simply picking up the item, but her quest would no longer be doable.
Elden Ring Latenna the Albinauric Guide
- Consumes Medium FP (74)
- You must be near a rebirth monument to summon spirits from ashes.
- When you are close to a rebirth monument and able to summon, a monument icon will appear on the left side of the screen.
- When she finds a target, she shoots three magical arrows at a time, repeatedly and can shoot them very far away.
- Ideally, you should find a sniping perch or vantage point to plop her down on and let her provide sniper fire as you clear the area.
- Though mostly stationary, she does have a tiny amount of mobility. She can inch her way around in response to being attacked, though in rare circumstances she will decide to shuffle around on her own accord. This can make her fall off of a vantage point you've summoned her to.
- Her ability to mount Direwolves is likely an oversight from sharing the same AI as the Albinauric Archers, as she tends to also shoot the wolf due to it still counting as a hostile enemy.

I summoned her against morgott and she did like 200 damage per 3 arrows and died in 3 hits. She was fully upgrated. Can someone give me answers? I know if you say something like this on this page people will dislike you and call you trash, but I don't care. Someone, explain why she is doing pathetic damage.

Leveled this one up to +10 and she took out every dragon. Even Placidusax. Put her on the edge of the ring. Don't fully enter the ring and just dodge the red lightning. Amazing.
- Anonymous
Do you hate Dragons in this game? Boring fights, keep getting oneshoted by breath attacks, ****ed up by the camera all the time and have to keep chasing this mofos all over the place? Yes, I know you do. Well... She's pretty much a Dragon Killer. Pop her up on the best place you can think off let her melt the ******* while you pretent to do your part.
- Anonymous
A cutie. I would summon her more often if the mimic tear wasn't even cuter ;-)
- Anonymous
I upgraded her to +8 and accidentally summoned her for the Lichdragon. She got it down to half health before I could even get close. Then she died in 3 hits. 10/10

Best summon and best girl. Carry bae wherever she wants to go, because she will carry your ass all the time.
- Anonymous
If her ability to mount wolves is an oversight, they need to fix it and make it an official ability in the next patch, because that's awesome, but daft when she promptly kills her own mount because she still registers it as hostile.

literally just extra damage on bosses unless they're mega-mobile
- Anonymous
Is she supposed to do more than 100 dmg per barrage? I feel kind of underwhelmed because everyone describes her as high damage. She has good survivability, but I wouldn't say she's carrying. When she was unupgraded, she was only getting 5 dmg per arrow against some enemies. Were ashes nerfed or sometghing?
- Anonymous
Hm, since she fires magic arrows, will it make sense for me to cast Terra Magicka at her spot to increase her damage? Or it doesn't work that way?
- Anonymous
Want a summon who can clear the whole damn Grand Cloister out including the ulcerated? Latenna is your girl. With judicious positioning all you have to do is a bit of baiting and running. S+ all day, I'll have none of this S nonsense.

Shoutouts to my girl Latenna for carrying the deeps in Fire Giant. That fun-sized ******* rolling all over the place in phase 2 did not stop her from pelting his ass full of arrows. Even took a thermonuclear blast or two to the face like a champ when I struggled to keep aggro, what with me being too busy chasing after Mr Konchu to land a hit.
Hey look buddy, I'm a Spirit Summoner, that means I solve problems. Not problems like "Who is Ragadon?", because that would fall within the purview of your conundrums of the Golden Order. No, I solve practical problems. Fr'instance, how am I gonna stop some big mean mother hubbard from tearin' me a structurally superfleous new behind? The answer, use an Albinauric. And if that don't work... use more Albinauric. Like this heavy-grain, paraplegic little ol' number befriended by me. Summoned by me.
And you'd best hope... not pointed at you.

Feeling lazy so I got Latenna to shred the dragonkin soldier for me.
I think they added some dialogue for her in Patch 1.07---or I just never noticed it before.
Just north of the Ancient Snow Valley Ruins, she comments about the location of the other half of the haligtree medallion.
- Anonymous
An actually amazing summon. One you know won't wander off and fight useless stuff you didn't care about, one who pretty much never takes aggro, so her survivability is pretty good if you aren't wicked passive. She's surprisingly good in the Rykard fight. She does no real damage to either phase, but she can guard break him. Probably solid if you don't have mimic available.

Gargoyle at the Lift of Rold was giving me grief. Heard about Latenna and had some materials to spare. At +7 she made it a cake walk.
- Anonymous
At +10, I always turn around to thank her for saving my arse in a boss fight but she's gone...
She tamed the wolf, rode it and then KILLED IT WHILE RIDING IT. WHAT?

Low FP cost? Check.
Real range? Check.
Real damage? Check.
Stays in the spot where you summon her, opening up interesting strategies and negating the worry of "gee, I sure hope this spirit doesn't do that thing where they jump right into the worst possible spot and get stun-locked to death" situations? Check.
BUT! ... Ya gotta put her to 10. I know, I know, Great Grave Gloveworts are super rare. I'm just saying: if you're here, reading this, you most likely are looking for solid assistance, maybe because you're doing a low RL character, or maybe because you just honestly need some extra help. And I'm telling you that, when she's at 10+, she will CARRY your @$$. I was just being cavalier when I put her to 10, I thought, "whatever, I'm not super invested in depending on any single ash anyways, so why not? Have a 10," but little did I know what I had just done.
We're talking heavy DPS sniping, dude. Sometimes it's like a friggin' PSG1 firing off, yikes!

Be careful where you summon her because she very slowly shimmies left on her knees, she might fall off that big rock you placed her on

I see that this Summon's being well represented here on the page for damage, poisebreak decay prevention, etc.- I would like to posit another point in her favor, that being sheer range.
I'm going through Lake of Rot right now, and just got Latenna to +9, so I'd thought to give her a try with dumpstering the Putrid Tree Spirit underneath the liquid rotfall nearby, thinking that would be the end of her utility. To my surprise, the Summon Zone extended way off to the other end of the massive-ass hallway, to the Kindred of Rot gathered at the other end. And, when I started luring them out one or two at a time with my own bow shots, she responded and sniped them all down from the other end of that whole space.
Like... for perspective, the Grand Cloister is near as long as the entirety of Raya Lucaria directly above it on the map.
Really put into perspective from just how far away she can non-stop pump out damage with arrow flurry spam, for me. For being just 74 FP especially, and therefore accessible to low Mind non-caster builds, I'd easily consider Latenna to be one of the best summons in the entire game.

this spirit summons really surprised me yesterday, I've died to ekzykes many times, just banging my head against a wall. I have two renowned spirit summons at +6 and both were more or less useless, dying within a minute or two of ekzykes noticing and focusing on them. I don't use latenna much at all, I have her upgraded to +2. I summoned her at the highest point overlooking the dragon so she and I would be hitting it from two directions, I was hoping this would confuse it, not sure who to attack first. it didn't work and latenna didn't last the whole fight, but she did last a lot longer than both +6 spirit ashes. she also did a decent bit of damage to it, a lot more than I would have done with a bow,
- Anonymous
Just a heads up, I've been trying to kill ekzykes for a long time and banging my head against a wall every time. Thought I'd try status effect arrows, bleed and poison were pretty much useless, But latenna summoned at the highest point overlooking the dragon was a revelation. She is +2 but lasted a lot longer than lhutel or the wolves both at +6 have ever done. I was surprised how much damage she was doing as well, much more than I was doing with arrow sting talisman. The latenna spirit summons is well worth the glovewarts needed to upgrade her.
- Anonymous
I wonder, in what situations are there even direwolves nearby for her to use?
Grinded grave gloveworts before realizing she needs GHOST gloveworts. Fml
Favourite Spirit Ash hands down. Park her somewhere safe and run around like a rodeo clown, properly upgraded she will melt anyone. At +10 she can take a fair bit of damage too.
- Anonymous
She can solo the magma warm at Mt gelmir if you jump up the giant squarish rocks and summon her there
- Anonymous
+6 and Astel, Naturalborn of the Void was a cake walk. Nothing but arrows landing headshots and watching the health bar melt. Was an instant +10 after that and good lord the damage she puts out.
- Anonymous
Best and most favorite spirit, especially as an unga bunga STR build. Having fixed range support that is literally incapable of running into battle and getting herself killed compliments my own relentless offense while wearing Shibiri's Woe to keep the enemy focused on myself. If you time your own attacks with her barrages then it's easy to break stances, too. Definitely one of the most fun spirits to use because she needs just as much support as she gives, making it a lot more balanced than, say, the Mimic Tear which can turn boss fights into an effective idle game.
- Anonymous
Best girl!! Used her to defeat queen Maggie by putting her on a point unreachable without torrent and keeping aggro on me, she took out Maggie's annoying little goblin children while I did damages to the queen.
- Anonymous
Use the Arrow Sting talisman and play distraction for her, most bosses will prioritize you as your single arrow will do the same as any of her bursts so play evasively and watch her plink them down while they try to swat you, combine this strategy with Rain of Arrows if you're feeling bold and have a good stock of status arrows.
- Anonymous
She soloed the duo tree sentinels in front of the capital while being at +2.
I put her on a wall and she just shot and they just sat and took it.
I went to take a shower and when I was back they were both dead.
+10 waifu summon in open space areas.
In close combat spaces, dont be cruel and leave her alone.

AKA dragon slayer...or at least distracter. I took out 3 great dragons in a row with her keeping them off balance.
- Anonymous
Under appreciated for keeping up stance damage on bosses. I stance broke Mohg twice on the attempt I beat him.
- Anonymous
Very useful, she constantly spams arrows so a bosses poise won't recover
Trash. Low damage, no hitpoints, randomly tries to attack fog walls

After patch 1.03, every starting class, including Hero, can now summon her with their base Mind.

If you get the Haligtree Secret Medallion (Left) first, she dies naturally. Her spirit ashes are left behind.

She's situational. But when the situation is her home ground, she stomps the competition.
- Anonymous
dont expect her to tank waterfall dances but if the arena is big/open world, place her in the edge and watch as your albinauric waifu pulls aggro nonstop while doing consistent dps
- Anonymous
Was hoping to get both Lobo and Latenna together as a summon once you finish the quest. The moves she does while mounted are so unique.
- Anonymous
I have mine at +8 and she's literally dealing like 100 damage per barrage of arrows, what gives? tried vs multiple different enemies btw.
- Anonymous
didnt she use loretta's greatbow? was that changed and i didnt know or what?
- Anonymous
Ah yes, her wolf's name is Lobo(Wolf). And my Cat's name is Gato(Cat).
One of the best summons, in many cases better than Mimic Tear.

I stopped the narcissism (mimic tear) and got into a relationship (Latenna). She's a darling.
- Anonymous
I would love if they updated her quest to have you take her back to Lobo (like she asks) and then he becomes a part of her spirit ash giving her the Direwolf mobility permanently, it wouldn’t be OP really cause you’ve already had to go to the consecrated snowfield so it’s late in the game
- Anonymous
Heh, that’s right, keep shooting them, my dirty little vegetable!
- Anonymous
Extremely useful if you know how to position her in the game, she becomes a sniper and has helped me many times!
- Anonymous
I was strongly doubtful of this summon on my second character. Just barely a distraction. Couldn't understand the hype while I was still at the +4 to +7 point. But I went all in at +10 despite it all and I must say: "Wow." This girl is all or nothing, but if you go all in then she will carry you in every situation where sniper support is tactically viable.
- Anonymous
The fact that she can tame Direwolves is cool and also disappointing because as far as I am aware there is only one place in the entire game where these wolves exist WITH a rebirth monument and that is Caria Manor. I am not sure why From Software didn't place more of these wolves throughout the world or at least let her use other wolves as well.

Absolutely bamboozled Theodorix's AI when I placed her on the snow cliff nearby
- Anonymous
Used her aid couple times and was very impressed. So, i strenghtened her ashes to +7 and got ready for a real kick-ass spirit solo boss killing.
Then I went to the lake of rot to see how she takes out that dragonkin soldier and I... accidently... summoned her... right into that... red thing... well, you know. And right in front of that big guy. I hoped, she could tank a little. She died, like, instantly.
But anyway, I tried better positioning after and I still think that it's the best spirit for melee characters
- Anonymous
Using her with the Shabiri’s Woe talisman should be an unreal combo, making her almost invaluable I imagine
- Anonymous
Among the most boom-or-bust ashes in the game. She’ll either get wiped in 15 seconds or win the battle for you. Seems to do especially well against large beast bosses
Fantastic against big mobile bosses like dragons, star beast and tree spirits that melee summons cant catch and therefore cant do much dps against. Also great that she dont move. A great niche summon imo.
- Anonymous
For some reason she does not shoot Mohg in his arena unless he attacks her. Anyone else has that issue?
- Anonymous
When I saw the spirit riding on a Direwolf, I thought it's just a funny glitch, but actually it makes a lot of sense - and calls for using her in certain locations.
I say, very clever, FromSoft!
- Anonymous
Tried REALLY hard to make her useful, but she's completely useless, dies the first SECOND anything looks at her. Unless you are cheesing something outside of reach, i guess.
- Anonymous
Can't move, firing from afar and with absolute accuracy, She is a Cpt. McMillan of Elden Ring.
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
When i first entered her place she was already dead...
I still got the summon ashes though.
I could not activate her before the place in the chapel, guess i missed her quest.
The issue was probably that i already had the haligtree medaillon.

cool interaction, but if you summon her in an area with dog enemies, such as Caria Manor, she will pacify and ride the dogs. Makes me wonder how many other units have special interactions like that.
- Anonymous
Try summoning her near a hostile wolf if you ever get the chance, you'll see something cool. Just trust me.
- Anonymous
This girl can ride a hostile wolf if they are at close distance.
- Anonymous
If you summon her near a wolf enemy she will mount the wolf and start riding it around, giving her full mobility to go with her firepower.
Credit for discovering that she can mount Direwolves goes to u/neoPie! Unconfirmed if she can mount standard Lone Wolves as of yet. Makes me wonder how many other summons have neat hidden effects like this.
