Temporarily boosts magic attacks in mixed physick

Magic-Shrouding Cracked Tear is a Crystal Tear in Elden Ring. Crystal Tears can be used and mixed to enhance the effects of the Flask of Wondrous Physick.

A crystal tear formed slowly over the ages where the Erdtree's bounty falls to the ground.

Can be mixed in the Flask of Wondrous Physick.
The resulting concoction temporarily boosts the power of one's magic attacks.

IT SEEMS LIKE THE BOOST IS DECREASING AFTER EACH MINUTES 10% DECREASE EACH MINUTES, I NOTICE IT TODAY. 0-60 sec my damage was from 2141 to 3024, same weather, same buff, same stuff. I did the test many time, and noticed it.

This works with ANYTHING that deals MAGIC damage. Pots, AoWs, incants, Sorcery, infused weapons, anything.

Stupid question. If i have 99 intelligence, am i okay to use this as im hard capped in that stat? Soley to increase my magic damage output.

I know using the +10 int tear at 99 intelligence does nothing.

testing this with a seprent bow and magic arrows... damage is lower aftring drinking the physic..... the **** ?

              • I've found it to be a decent choice if you want to utilize weapon art of Moonveil as a major damaging option. I certainly appreciated the boost it gave me during Black Blade Kindred fight outside of Beastial Sanctum.

Throw this together with terra magica, the infinite fp tear, the two sorcery buff talismans, the magic scorpion talisman, and comet azur, and laugh as you annihilate those puny bosses

It is absolutely broken, for example with my Starscourge Greatsword +9 i usualy do 751 damage with my light attack and with Magic-Shrouding Cracked Tear i do 1023 damage with my light attack.

Did some quick testing on this effect. Seems like it buffs all magic damage, even normal hits with weapons that deal magic damage.
I also tested if it buffed other sorcery spells like Magma Shot, but it had no effect on that as it is fire damage and not magic damage.

This buff lasts for 3 whole minutes. Absolutely insane. Also boosts magic damage from weapon arts by 20% such as the beam from Sword of Night and Flame.

Mix that one with CERULEAN HIDDEN TEAR and use Comet Azur Spell... 10 sec of insane burst (No mana cost for 10s + increased magic dmg)

                          • My INT is 37 and I'm using the Meteorite Staff on the little sheepies next to Erdtree-Gazing Hill.

                            Baseline is a fully-charged Loretta's Greatbow: 926
                            With Magic-Shrouding Tear: 1111
                            With Intelligence-Knot Tear: 1056

                            Baseline is +16 Omen-killer Greatsword R1: 544
                            With Magic-Shrouding Tear: 611
                            With Intelligence-Knot Tear: 567

This Tear is better for both spell casters and magic-element melee as well.
                            It's likely percentage-based, whereas the Intelligence-knot is just a flat +10 INT.
If you're just gunning for more damage, take both.

If anyone's wondering, this does affect sorceries. Right now my Swift Glintstone Shard deals 264 damage without this tear, and 317 with it active, which is a 20% damage buff. Not bad at all if you want to nuke a boss or something.
