Millicent is an NPC in Elden Ring with a quest line that players can complete in order to gain some valuable items. Millicent is a young woman stricken with an incurable case of Scarlet Rot. Gowry will send players to look for her in an attempt to cure her of Scarlet Rot. Progress through her questline in order to unlock her as an NPC Summon Cooperator during specific boss battles.
Millicent can also be encountered as an NPC Invader. She will invade the player in the Swamp of Aeonia at all times of the day. She has light armor and appears to use a Shamshir, but with the Waterfowl Dance skill, the same as Malenia.
I would rather trust you than simply continue to spoil from within.
Millicent Location in Elden Ring
- Millicent can initially be found at Church of the Plague, around the northeast direction from Gowry's Shack. You need to light the first two braziers in Sellia, Town of Sorcery, then progress up the stairs north towards the Sellia Backstreets site of grace; the first two braziers unlock the barrier. Then go up the mountain towards the Church of the Plague, and she'll be next to the site of grace. [Map link]
- After giving her the Unalloyed Gold Needle, she will move on to Gowry's Shack. [Map link]
- Millicent can also be found in southern Altus Plateau. [Map link]
- After Godskin Apostle is defeated, Millicent can be found near the newly visible grace at the northern end of Windmill Village. [Map link]
- This NPC moves.
- This NPC can be fought.
- If defeated as an NPC, drops: 6,000 runes, Millicent's Prosthesis (after she moved to the Windmill Village).
- Millicent appears as an NPC Invader, in the southeast of the Swamp of Aeonia, near the geysers and the Commander O'Neil boss fight. [Map link]
- As an invader she is immune to Scarlet Rot, but susceptible to Poison.
- If defeated as an invader, drops: Sacramental Bud x5, Golden Rune [3], Golden Rune [5], Golden Rune [10], and 316 Runes.
NPC Summon Boss Fights:
- Magma Wyrm Makar: Available once you've given her the Unalloyed Gold Needle and she's decided to go on a journey, and tried to pay Gowry a visit.
- Godskin Apostle: You can summon Millicent for this boss, after giving her the Valkyrie's Prosthesis
- Draconic Tree Sentinel: You can summon Millicent for this boss, after giving her the Valkyrie's Prosthesis, and defeating the Godskin Apostle in Windmill Village.
- Black Blade Kindred: Advance in her questline until you defeat Godskin Apostle in Windmill Village, and her summon sign will be available north of the Statue of Marika in the Forbidden Lands.
- Does not appear as a summon for Commander Niall, despite her dialogue stating that she would be heading toward him.
Millicent Questline: How to complete Millicent's Quest
Millicent has a questline related to Gowry, but also appears as an NPC Invader at the Aeonia Swamp. The quest can be completed after reaching the Haligtree Roots site of grace, and can still be completed after defeating Malenia. The quest can be done quickly if the player defeats the bosses or otherwise obtains the quest items before exhausting dialogue.
- Speak with Gowry in his shack and he will ask for a favor. He wants help to heal a young girl, Millicent, found beyond Sellia, who has been infected with Scarlet Rot. To do this, he will ask you to seek an Unalloyed Gold Needle, which is dropped by Commander O'Neil, located in the Swamp of Aeonia. In return, he will share the secrets of the town of Sellia.
- Speaking to Gowry and accepting his quest will unlock Polyanna, Adopted Daughter's summon sign, north of O'Neil's battle arena.
- Give the Unalloyed Gold Needle to Gowry. He'll need some time to repair the needle and will give you Sellia's Secret.
- Warp to a nearby site of grace or quit the game to reload, and he'll give you the repaired needle.
- Bring the needle to Millicent at the Church of the Plague. You may need to complete the puzzle in Sellia, Town of Sorcery to open the path uphill. Or, coming from Dragonbarrow, jump down a Spirit Spring to the north of the Church.
- After Millicent uses the needle, rest at the nearby site of grace, then exhaust her dialogue. She will gift you the Prosthesis-Wearer Heirloom. Upon reloading the area, she will have moved to Gowry's shack.
- Return to Gowry's shack to find him gone, but Millicent there. Exhaust her dialogue. Reload the area, and Millicent will move, and Gowry will return. You can now purchase spells from him.
- Millicent can be summoned to fight Magma Wyrm Makar in the Ruin-Strewn Precipice after this point. This summon sign will disappear if she is given the Valkyrie's Prosthesis.
- Millicent will now be located just north-northeast of the Erdtree-Gazing Hill site of grace in Altus Plateau, standing near the edge of the cliff. [Map Link]
- The player will need to go north to The Shaded Castle and retrieve the Valkyrie's Prosthesis, which is found in a chest in a room guarded by a single Cleanrot Knight, on the northwestern edge of the castle. Return to her, and give her the Valkyrie's Prosthesis item to advance her quest.
- Go to Dominula, Windmill Village, and defeat the Godskin Apostle. After giving Millicent the Prosthesis, her summon sign will appear at the base of the hill northwest of the Stake of Marika.
- After defeating the Apostle, rest at the Windmill Heights site of grace, and she will appear next to it. Exhaust her dialogue to continue the quest. [Map Link]
- Millicent can be summoned to fight the Black Blade Kindred boss in Forbidden Lands, even before defeating the Godskin Apostle.
- Millicent will move to the Ancient Snow Valley Ruins site of grace in Mountaintops of the Giants. Exhaust her dialogue to continue. [Map link]
- If Millicent does not appear at the site of grace, try returning to the Windmill Heights again and see if she's there, and if so, exhaust her dialogue there.
- Millicent will move to the Prayer Room site of grace in Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree. She will not move from this spot until the player has defeated the nearby Lesser Ulcerated Tree Spirit mini-boss. To reach the mini-boss, go to the Drainage Channel site of grace, go west through the doorway, climb up the ladder at the end of the corridor, and go out the doorway on your right at the top. The mini-boss is at the landmass across the gap to the left. To reach it, go up the slope on the right and walk across the tree branch, heading southwest across the gap. [Map link]
- Once the player has defeated the mini-boss, there will be two summon signs near where the mini-boss used to be. Specifically, on the northwest hill around the lake. The player can either:
- Be summoned into her world and help fight four NPC Invaders called Millicent's Sisters, granting you the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia upon completion.
- Mary, Eldest Sister (wields a Halo Scythe).
- Maureen, Second Sister (wields a Treespear).
- Amy, Third Sister (wields two Flowing Curved Swords).
- Polyanna, Youngest Sister (wields a Blade of Calling).
- Be summoned as an invader in order to challenge her, granting you Millicent's Prosthesis upon completion, but not the Unalloyed Gold Needle.
- Be summoned into her world and help fight four NPC Invaders called Millicent's Sisters, granting you the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia upon completion.
- If the player chose to help Millicent, they can find her near where her summoning sign was, sitting by the rotten pool. Exhaust all of her dialogue, then reload the area. The Unalloyed Gold Needle is on the ground.
- The Unalloyed Gold Needle can be used at the flower in Malenia's arena in order to receive Miquella’s Needle, as well as a Somber Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone.
- If you return to Gowry, and he will talk about Malenia and Millicent's connection. You will no longer be able to purchase from the Sage.
- If you kill Gowry at this point, you will receive the Flock's Canvas Talisman and Gowry's Bell Bearing. If he is already dead, both items will still be obtainable from his corpse, found in Gowry's Shack.
Millicent's Dialogue
Upon entering the Church of the Plague, Caelid
- Ah...Ahh
Introduction
- Nggh... Who's there? Well, it matters not. If you are wise, you will leave, immediately. My flesh writhes with scarlet rot. It is a curse. Not to be meddled with by man.
Upon giving her the Unalloyed Gold Needle
- You ask that I stab myself with the needle... To quell the scarlet rot? But...how? ... Never mind. I've decided. I would rather trust you, than simply continue to spoil from within. Would you mind...averting your eyes for a moment? Well. That was easier than expected. But...why do I feel so...
Upon reloading area
- I...hoped to see you again. My apologies for when last we met. I fainted before I could even thank you. Everything is as you said. Since inserting the needle, the scarlet rot has ceased to writhe. Even the nightmares have abated... And now, thought I can scarcely believe it myself, I can move as I please. It is all thanks to you. Not that I could every truly repay you, but I would like you to have this, by way of thanks. A token, though it is.
Attacking her after giving her the Unalloyed Gold Needle
- (Warning) Ugh. Is there something wrong? Please, cease this at once.
- (Combat) Why are you doing this? Now you've forced my hand.
- (On player kill) I will not forget what you did for me. But this day marks our farewell.
After receiving the Prosthesis-Wearer Heirloom
- I'm considering leaving. On a journey. With the needle buried in my flesh, I've started to recall, but dimly... My destiny... My name is Millicent. I pray fate permits us meet again.
At Gowry's Shack
- Oh, hello again. Something about this place felt familiar to me. So I decided to pay a visit, hoping to find someone here. But I've only found emptiness. Perhaps before my departure, I needed someone to say farewell to. I must focus on my journey, for which I have you to thank.
- I must stay strong. I must focus on my journey, for which I have you to thank.
North of the Erdtree-Gazing Hill Grace on the Altus Plateau
- Ah. We meet again. In truth, it's been smooth sailing, for me. The scarlet rot has stilled, since last we met. As such, I've been able to continue my journey. I realise that if I still had my sword arm, I could have aided you in battle.
- Now, I'm tracing the path Malenia took, after unleashing the power of the scarlet rot, during her battle with General Radahn, in the Caelid Wilds. I should like to meet her, this vanished woman. I think she's in the north. In the lands that lie beyond the Erdtree.
After giving her the Valkyrie's Prosthesis
- Giving me this arm? I thank you. I am in your debt, yet again. I think, if the arm serves well enough, it might be possible for me to wield a sword again.
- If the arm serves well enough, it might be possible for me to wield a sword again. Perhaps, then. I can aid you in battle.
Near the Windmill Heights Grace on the Altus Plateau
- Ah, we meet yet again. The arm you gave me truly is a thing of wonder. It feels just like my own, even handling a sword. Perhaps it is foolish to say this to you of all people, but I am sure of my skill with the sword. Thus, I would have you call upon me in battle, should you ever have the need. It is the only way that I can express my thanks.
Near the Ancient Snow Valley Ruins Grace at Mountaintops of the Giants
- To think we'd meet in such a place... What could your purpose possibly... No, I know well enough who you are, and what I know is good enough for me. Call upon me again in battle, should you have the need.
- I'm searching for a fort to the north of the ruins. I heard the master of the fort was given a medallion that allowed him to visit the Haligtree. Indeed, I believe that is where Malenia will be found. The Haligtree is hidden somewhere in these Northern lands.
§Near the Prayer Room Grace at Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree
- Again we meet. I can only surmise our purposes are aligned. In which case, allow me to explain myself. I am of Malenia's blood. But in what capacity I know not. I could be sister, daughter, or an offshoot... Whatever the case though, I am certain of a kinship between us.
- There is something I must return to Malenia. The will that was once her own. The dignity, the sense of self, that allowed her to resist the call of the scarlet rot. The pride she abandoned, to meet Radahn's measure.
After choosing to help Millicent at the end of her questline, laying by the pool near where her summoning sign was
- Thank you for lending your hand. Without your help, I could not have defeated that quartet. I feel as if I've been in your debt from beginning to end. Thank you. With your help, I was able to live as my own person, if only in passing.
- But this is where things end. I pause to even tell you, but... I took out the needle myself. Tell whoever put you up to this. That if I am to flower into something other than myself, I would rather rot into nothingness as I am.
- Please, let me pass alone. The scarlet rot writhes now, worse than ever. Soon, I won't be more than a mound of flesh. Curse-laden. Untouchable. I wouldn't want such a thing to bring you harm.
Killing Millicent at the end of her questline in Elphael, Brace of the Haligtree before reloading the area
- I did not expect it to end like this. But I will not forget what you have done.
After choosing to challenge Millicent
- Ahh, how could you... Is this your true heart? Was I... was it all...for this?
Millicent Notes & Trivia
FAQ:How do you cure the girl with the Scarlet Rot Elden ring?
In order to cure Millicent from the Scarlet Rot players will need to speak to first speak to Gowry who will be at Gowry's Shack [Map Link], obtain the Unalloyed Gold Needle for him by defeating Commander O'Neil, located in the Swamp of Aeonia and he will repair it. Bring the repaired Unalloyed Gold Needle to Milliecet and she will use it to cure her Scarlet Rot.
Step by Step Walkthrough
- Speak with Gowry in his shack and he will ask you to seek an Unalloyed Gold Needle, which is dropped by Commander O'Neil, located in the Swamp of Aeonia. In return, he will share the secrets of the town of Sellia.
- Defeat Commander O'Neil, located in the Swamp of Aeonia and obtain the needle then return it to Gowry. Give the Unalloyed Gold Needle to Gowry. He'll need some time to repair the needle and you will need to return to him. To speed up the process, look for to a nearby site of grace or quit the game to reload, and he'll give you the repaired needle. The closest site of grace is nearby just northeast of Gowry's Shack where the Church of the Plague. Return to Gowry to retrieve the needle then take it to Millicent.
- Bring the needle to Millicent at the Church of the Plague. You may need to complete the puzzle in Sellia, Town of Sorcery to open the path uphill. Or, coming from Dragonbarrow, jump down a Spirit Spring to the north of the Church.
- After Millicent uses the needle, rest at the nearby site of grace in the same Locations, then return to Millicent and she will be well, which will tell you "Since inserting the needle ths scarlet rot has ceased to writhe." From this point onwards Millicent will be cured from scarlet rot and will be free to change Locations. You can follow her full questline here.
Millicent Other Notes
- In combat, Millicent wields a unique version of the Shamshir that has the Waterfowl Dance skill, which is normally only found on the Hand of Malenia. Before she receives the prosthesis, she uses it in her left hand, never two-handing it or doing anything else that would involve her right arm, and she won't use its skill either.
- When fighting her as an invader in the swamp, it is recommended to use Flame, Cleanse Me or Preserving Boluses to cleanse the Scarlet Rot.
- The name "Millicent" comes from the old Germanic name Amalasuintha, composed of the words "Amal" which means "work" or "labor" and "Swinth", which means "strong". Alternatively, the French variation, Mélisande, means "brave strength". This fits directly back into Millicent's character, who despite being heavily afflicted with the Scarlet Rot and lacking an arm, is able to travel from Caelid all the way to the Haligtree almost on her own, requiring only some assistance from the player.
- The items dropped by Invader Millicent in the Swamp of Aeonia may be a reference to other aspects of her lore: The 5 sacramental buds represent Millicent and her 4 sisters, while the rune items she drops are the same as the percentage damage increase of the base Winged Sword Insignia; 3, 5, and 10.

I honestly don't understand how anybody can possibly be expected to complete this questline without the use of a wiki. Even if you're the most compulsive of completionists, the fact that she keeps appearing in places it's possible you've already been to long ago with no indication and the fact that you constantly have to set off flags by backtracking means that without literally knowing what bizarre task the game wants you to complete, you could visit everywhere in the world twice and barely make any progress. Why Erdtree-gazing hill of all places? How the hell is anybody supposed to know that to unlock the final stage of the quest you have to kill a giant eel made of roots that randomly ambushes you on a side path with nothing to do with anything just because Fromsoft thought it was a cool arena and wanted to reuse it? Especially since you've already fought half a dozen of those eels by now and they always drop the same item you're maxxed out on, heck, the NEXT time you see those things it's three at a time in Leyndell and you actually are supposed to skip them.

For the fight against the sisters, I stepped back and realized I could build around it fairly easily. Just use anything with a lot of aoe and range. I used twin katanas and flame of the fell gods. The big fireball just slowly homes in while Millicent and I just went HAM with lots of aoe slashes, getting lots of bleed, and then they basically had no answer for the giant explosion. Anything similar should work. Just gotta either stay mobile and/or be able to bulldoze right through them.
They are really annoying if you're not prepared, though.

Can her quest still be done after defeating maliketh or did I totally **** up?
- Anonymous
She can also be summoned at Dragon Tree Sentinel fight before the Capital Rampart sight of grace. Not sure who else was aware.

Stormcaller makes the 4 NPC invasion trivial. Keep close to Millicent (don't let them 2v1 her or she will die) and when they try to gank you, spam Stormcaller. I managed to catch 3 of them at once and stun lock them to death.
- Anonymous
Lol she thought I was helping her but really I was just fattening her up like a pig for slaughter. Give me your talisman
- Anonymous
If you're helping Millicent, the sister's fight is more badly designed RNG garbage. it's 4 sisters, if they all gun for you you're dead. Your best bet is to go near Millicent so she can at least take some off of you.
I hate game designers who think RNG is design...
I'd also argue that having her die in either case is also pretty lazy.

lol i think i porked my quest. i did the needle part like normal, exhausted her dialogue, she left, then i killed the godskin apostle in windmill village. she wasnt there even after reloading. so i realized i needed to give her the valkyrie's prosthesis, so i got it from shaded castle... and i cant find her anywhere now. i've already looked several times in erdtree gazing hill, the church of the plague, and gowry's house. Do any of y'all know what the heck i should do? i need to kill her in windmill village for the talisman she drops.

I wish there was a little more to her story...seems like a missed opportunity to make her the best NPC in the game.

I wonder who thought that the assist fight against the sister was good? 4 overpowered NPC's who kills you with two hits and Millicent dies with 3 hits, seriously???

I crossed the whole Lands Between just for you so you could rot in another place? I didn't expect real women behavior in a fantasy game..

I killed the Godskin apostle before starting her quest. She doesn't spawn anywhere now. I guess that means I failed the quest :(.
If you are helping Millicent invade her 4 sisters in Ephael, you can stand back and throw sleep pots at Millicent. The sisters will keep falling asleep while Millicent solo's them and can heal uninterrupted. EZ mode.

Maureen is so annoying, she immediately guns for you, preventing any sorts of buffs you want to apply with her R1 spam

There's a surprising amount of parallels between her and Wolf from Sekiro: both have a missing arm replaced by a super-prosthetic passed down from their mentor who also once wore it, both are inflicted by a magic plagues that they try (badly) to avoid spreading to others, which also gives them both large white face blemishes. Both end up rejecting/eliminating their curses despite the god-like benefits it gives them, in direct opposition to their fathers' wishes.

Every playthrough I leave a message by the red summon sign that says "fight Millicent" and tell these merciless tarnished to turn back
I would say they really missed out not making her a summon for malenia but I guess the healing she does would make most people not summon her anyway.

I have one, siingle question: if she moves to the Windmill village, can she be resurrected after killed? I really, REALLY don't want to kill her. But that talisman, her prosthesis.... it's necessary for my mission.
So, will the Church of Vows revive her?

> If the player chose to help Millicent, they can find her near where her summoning sign was, sitting by the rotten pool. Exhaust all of her dialogue, then reload the area. The Unalloyed Gold Needle is on the ground.
This didn't happen for me on 1.09 after helping her and burning through her dialog. Millicent’s dead in a cloud of rot but there's no needle to pick up, after multiple reloads and time passed at the grace. Is this a known thing that can happen?
- Anonymous
The difficulty of the 4 NPC invaders is largely dependent on whether or not Millicent decides to do waterfowl dance. She can solo up to 3 of her sisters if she just decides to spam waterfowl dance all day.

Bois we don't have to kill her, just grind 5 extra dex levels down at moghwin's and won't have to betray nobody

Is she a requirement for one of them?

Fwiw, I learned two things fighting her sisters. One, delay ranged attacks work well. Try pest threads. I left a message: try prawn, in other words try incantation. Hope folks will understand that. Two, even if you die, if killing finishes her sisters as you're dying... that is enough to succeed and get the reward.

What is it with the Invasion? When i got invaded by her the first time I didnt give her the prosthesis before. Does someone know why?

I was summoned to help her, and her sisters just pushed her off the edge.
Is that it? That's bs lol

To get the needle at the end to give to the flower you need to go back to millicents body after she lays down. You should reload and then go back then the needle will be there

I died, Milicent fell down the cliff, all her sisters followed her to death. That finished the quest for me.

"She will not move from this spot until the player has defeated the nearby Lesser Ulcerated Tree Spirit mini-boss. "
'nearby' in this case meaning 'through a couple dozen idiot soldiers, six knights, four ballistae, an angry tree stump, a swarm of gross bugs, a pond of rot, and some greasy tree branches over a bottomless pit.'
So a pretty normal use of "nearby" ig.

The only time i felt so bad, was when i killed captain Yorshka for her sacred chime in anor londo. Now i had to kill Milicent for her prosthetic arm talisman. I hate my self for these murders.

So what is it that she wants to return to Malenia?
Did she remove the needle because she didnt want to "flower into something other than myself" as in to not "embrace the rot" like Malenia did?
If thats true, then does that mean the needle is only a temporary solution? Tarnished can still supress Frenzy Flame to choose a different ending but doesnt that imply Tarnished will still be consumed by Frenzy Flame later on? Or would you say its a permanent solution because the Needle is now "upgraded" using the Scarlet Aeonia?
Please give me your explanation/speculation people, thank you

Gonna just stay by her side without moving for as long as I can...

The summon signs crash my game when I approach them outside the Magma Wyrm's boss fight room. I thought I'd have a cool moment of Boggart+Tragoth+Millicent all teaming up against the Wyrm to break into Altus... but this game of the year unfortunately has some major bugs ;(

I was able to summon her for the Draconic Tree Sentinel outside Leyndell without defeating the Godskin Apostle in the windmill village

I did the entirety of Millicent's quest my first playthrough of Elden Ring. I was so sad at the end and felt awful for putting her through what I did just cause of some random old man that I met. On my second playthrough of Elden Ring, upon seeing Gowry, I murdered him on sight. I have no idea what's going to happen with the quest now, but, **** him. I'm sorry, Miliicent.
- Anonymous
I’m confused at the ending it just seems stupid to me. Millicent undertook this whole journey just to help Malenia and then when she is meters away from her goal she just talks some ****ing nonsense about not being herself anymore and commits sudoku. Did I like miss the part where that needle was actually hurting her? Because if not this is a really **** writing
- Anonymous
I saw here summon sign, unless it was a person larping her, at Malenia's fight, I wasn't ready to fight her yet in my game, so I left. Then I went and killed the beast at the scarlet rot pool and helped her in the fight with the sisters successfully. Then I realized I might have screwed myself and sure enough the summon sign wasn't there anymore.
When she moves to the Prayer room in the Haligtree area, make it to outside the Malenia boss fight and check for her sign before defeating that beast in the scarlet rot pool area. She said previously she wanted to go to Malenia, but the guide never states summoning her to the fight. If you kill the beast and help her or fight her, you might lose the ability to summon her to the Malenia fight.
Again, I never actually summoned her, it is possible it was a role player character, the sign was next to the summoning pool, but it was square in the middle of the hall facing directly to the boss, same name, same appearance. Kicking myself right now.

Hot advise if you're having a hard time with helping Millicent against her sisters: right after you spawn in run towards Millicent. Try to stay close to her, because even if the sisters are ganging up on you when Millicent uses waterfowl dance it just *shreds* through everyone close to her. I tried a few times to draw them away from her, but it always ended up with them ganging up on me (which even in late game is rough because they hit hard and fast), but don't worry that they're going to kill her too fast, she's a big girl who slays

She's not appearing at the windmill after defeating the Apostle. Help!
It seems the cliff of the area that fight the sisters are protected by invisible wall as of 1.08, as I tried to push one of the sisters off the edge but only got her stuck in a falling animation without actually falling from the cliff.
- Anonymous
It seems that her NPC Invader form has her right arm intact. This could either mean that we chopped her arm off when we fought her, or the rot made her arm weak enough to break apart. If we did chopped it off, then she must have forgotten about the fight we had due to her rotting sickness.

1.08 here, i killed Godskin Apostle before starting her questline and she won't spawn after leaving Caelid, why make a quest so picky about the order of things on an open world game, great job FS.

So are Millicent and her sisters born from the Scarlet Rot flower buds dotted all over Caelid? Gowry said he found her in the swamp and Malenia has a birth of sorts from a scarlet rot flower bud so it kinda follows.

i get the feeling the sisters are put there to encourage you to invade millicent. 5v1 sounds infinitely more fun than a 2v4.

Use Canon of Haima if you rocking a INT build You cant hit Millicent but all Sisters at once.
Finish them off with melee once 2 of them are dead.
And pray to god that Millicent wont yeet herself off the cliff with her waterfowl dance like in 2 of my attempts

The GOLD writing summons you in to help here, the RED writing summons you into fight against her. That needs clarification.

The one thing I feel is amiss is how she invades you but nothing storywise comes of this. If anyone remembers DS1, Marvelous Chester had special dialogue where he grumbled and was shocked at nerve of you casually striking a conversation with him if you talked to him after defeating his invasion attempt. It would make sense that maybe Millicent was desperate and attacked you thinking you might possess something that would stave off her scarlet rot infestation, so it would’ve been cool to have additional dialogue where you corner her at the church afterwards, giving you the option to either get revenge against a now helpless woman who tried to assassinate you or show her mercy and baffle her with your kindness.
Dunno, just feels off how she tries to kill you in the swamp but nothing comes of it once you actually talk to her.

Please add that you need to exhaust her dialogue in Prayer Room site of grace. I beat Melania and the Ulcerated Tree Spirit before doing her quest, and I couldn't figure out how to get the summon sign to show when following this guide. Got it working now after exhausting dialogue.

Tricky to figure out what's going on here. Judging by the missing arm and fight later, the other sisters ganked her. gowry seems to be an adoptive father who also worshipped the rot but didn't want to see her in pain. The lack of memory aside she seemed on a mission before the ganking to sooth the rot in her mom, as it faintly calls to her to do so. As daughters of said rot queen(Melania) i don't think the other sisters liked that. Ganked her, she got away but to weak to fight off ailment anymore rot started to consume her. This is the vague story I'm getting. While she uses Melania's weapon she seems to make it pretty clear she is one of the siblings. And this theory seems to add all things into place best with her quest

I wish we had the opportunity during Selvis' questline to turn Millicent into a puppet. She would've been a cool spirit summon to have.

Why do we have to kill her for the prosthetic talisman? Why can't she just drop it in the end of her quest? She's one of my favourite characters from the game but I really needed that talisman for a build...

I had the idea that she became malenia, that the malenia she talked about was herself.

She isn’t at the ancient snow valley ruins grace. I’ve done everything in her questline up to the point where she goes there. She’s not at windmill village grace either. Where art thou Millicent?

i think i bugged the quest, got to the haligtree, killed the tree spirit, then went to do the rest of the questline.Everything went fine until it was time for the summon signs to appear, does anyone know how to fix this?

Well, this is pretty shitty quest if i ever seen one. You babysit this idiot throughout all game, she only helps you with few easy bosses (but for some ****ing reason never with ones it would make sence for her, like Malenia or Niall) and then presents you with a choice -exept she doesnt. If you got to the end - just help her, there is no reason to kill her now. If you want her talsiman - just kill her at Foreskins. But oh, she talks a big game - how she is in your debt, how she will help you, how she will give Malenia her dignity and thatever, but in the end, she is just pathetic and should have died from the rot in her stupid swamp. Welp, too bad you need to do her shitty quest at least 1.5 times in order to get everything, so good luck

This quest is easy bugged, if you kill Godskin Apostle before give her the prosthetic arm, good bye Millicent, she never appear again in any grace, neither appear the summon signs of sisters in Haligtree

As of 1.07 you can no longer kill her after helping her against her sisters. She has the NPC immune bubble around her, so you must choose an amulet ahead of time :(

Man... I'm not an emotional dude.... but in my playthrough where I played a morally evil character, when she said after I killed her "is this your true hearth?" some tears appeared in my eyes....

Did everything up to beating godskin apostle in windmill village, even talked to her there for a bit. I'm now up to Farum Azula and for some reason she never showed up in Ancient Snow Valley Ruins. No matter how much i reload. Did i just not summon her enough to help? I'm praying i didn't mess up here...

Millicent will not move from Mountaintop of the Giants unless you speak to her again after opening up the path to the Haligtree.

anyone else notice that her eyes are yellow? whats up with that? it almost looks like the flame of frenzy

It seems that if you progress her questline by giving her the Unalloyed Gold Needle, she will no longer invade you.

Question - I gave her the prosthetic and now I can't find her. She isn't at the Ancient Valley, did I mess something up? She also isn't at the Windmill, I guess I messed up when I defeated Godskin before I should have. Did I lock myself from continuing on? Please help.

Doing the final part of the quest with Mohgwyn's Sacred Spear is extremely satisfying.
Holy crap Lois, it's Gally from the famous manga Gunnm !
