Millicent's Prosthesis is a Talisman in Elden Ring. Millicent's Prosthesis increases Dexterity by 5, and raises attack power with successive attacks. Players can use talismans in Elden Ring to boost a variety of Stats.
Part of the golden prosthesis used by Millicent.
The hand is locked into a fist that once raised a sword aloft.
Boosts dexterity and raises attack power with successive attacks.
The despair of sweet betrayal transformed Millicent from a mere bud into a magnificent flower. And one day, she will be reborn - as a beautiful scarlet valkyrie.
Millicent's Prosthesis Effect in Elden Ring
Millicent's Prosthesis increases Dexterity by 5, and raises attack power with successive attacks.
- Increases attack power relative to the number of attacks you land. Has three tiers of attack power increase. Tiers decay to lower tiers when not attacking fast enough. Effect activates after three hits, regardless of weapon class.
- Decay duration: 1.5 seconds.
- For each tier, attack power increases by 4%, 6%, and then 11%.
- The attack power boost also affects the damage of certain Spells.
Where to find Millicent's Prosthesis in Elden Ring
- Can be obtained by killing Millicent at the Windmill Heights Site of Grace after killing the Godskin Apostle there. This is the absolute earliest it can be obtained.
- Killing her at any point after this will also make her drop this talisman, including when you are given the choice at the end of her questline between aiding or challenging her, and choose to challenge her. Upon killing her, you will automatically receive this talisman. Map Link
- If you chose to aid her at the end of her quest line and successfully fend of her sisters, she will drop the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia instead and this talisman can no longer be obtained during this playthrough until a new NG+ cycle is started.
Elden Ring Millicent's Prosthesis Notes & Tips
- Sell Value:
1,000
- Can be equipped at the same time as the Prosthesis-Wearer Heirloom for a combined +10 to Dexterity, and the Winged Sword Insignia or Rotten Winged Sword Insignia to stack the attack buffs received from sequential attacks.
- it does not work with Ghiza's wheel ash of war (spinning wheel)

I started this quest just for the item and didn't care who had to die but damm it hurt having to kill her and im definitely doing a NG+ where i complete her quest

Confirmed, each level only takes 2 hits and the cool down between levels is 3 seconds not 1.5. This means if you are dual wielding you will proc this on each swing.
I don't get it you have the ability to literally just take it right out of a chest but in order to get it yourself you need to give it to someone let them use it for a while then kill them take it again THEN you can finally use it

confirmed you get it killing her after godskin, i feel so bad

Probably would have been worth mentioning that you have to get and give the Valkyrie's Prosthesis to he before killing her...
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
Don't you think this is suppose to be the one we get from helping her? A talisman to remember her by. While the rotten wing talisman is "rotten" and should be given when you kill her in cold blood?
- Anonymous
Absolute worst one to get.... Picked this one up, and immediately went on my next journey. So painful betraying poor Millicent.
- Anonymous
Help I killed her at the Church of Plague and now i can't get it, what do i do
- Anonymous
Killed the Godskin Apostle, then went to the swamp and was invaded by her. No Talisman after killing her
- Anonymous
This does not work on crossbows, don’t know why, I haven’t tested it with actual bows yet but crossbows do not work with it. RIP to my plan with the pulley crossbow
- Anonymous
Well, if you don't like summoning, at least this way she gives you a hand...
- Anonymous
Bummer that getting this talisman requires you to kill a cool NPC and lose out on the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia, Miquella's Needle AND a Somber Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone.
- Anonymous
it should say she drops the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia if you assist her, not Unalloyed Gold Needle
- Anonymous
Does anyone knows if this actually affects any spells like the wiki says. If yes, then what spells it affects?
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
Have someone trade it to you, it's not worth killing one of the best npcs for this
- Anonymous
Kinda doesn't make sense how you can't pick this up when she dies on her own, like, the body is still there?
- Anonymous
I would feel bad...
But she made the decision to invade me in the middle of a Scarlet Rot swamp. Dismounting me, and then Waterfoul Dancing on my face.
I'll take your pretty good talisman, thanks.
- Anonymous
I like to think that if I betray her and make her bloom at the end of her questline and do the Frenzied Flame ending that she will be reborn as a Scarlet Valkyrie and team up with Melina to take you down.
Let me dream
- Anonymous
Isnt this better then rotten sword you save 5 points in stats and the only diffrence with rotten sword is you get 2% less
- Anonymous
Another mutual-exclusive. I hated it when From teases out our temptation/ guilt by killing a likable NPC for an item.
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
On the one hand I know she isn't a real woman and I do not do that creepy Waifu thing with female video game characters that tells pretty much everyone in the room you will forever be maidenless but I'm not killing her for this on any playthrough.
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
They may or may not have patched out the method of allows you to get both. Source: Just tried it, but when you try to attack her at the end of the quest, she gets enveloped by a gold barrier.
- Anonymous
I wasted my opportunity to get this because i finished her quest by assisting her and got the Needle even though i didn't choose the Frenzied Flame path.
- Anonymous
Sometimes you just gotta say screw it I’ll make better choices in new game plus
I need that extra damage output lmao
Elden Ring items impossible to get in a single playthrough, meet Cheat Engine. Cheat Engine, meet Elden Ring items impossible to get in a single playthrough.

I fought her as a NPC invader in the Swamp of Aeonia. I got the Millicent's Prosthesis as a reward. I then rescued her via the needle given by Gowry, and fought on her side against her sisters. The reward for this is the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia. You can get both items in one playthrough and they stack.
- Anonymous
I cant not fond her at the Windmill Heights Site of Grace...?
- Anonymous
She IS the Goodest Girl, but this Quik Boi wants that dapper damage.
So... Imma cut her blood out.
- Anonymous
best part is it stacks with rotten winged talisman, meaning if getting both through NG+ youll be racking up some nice percentages for speedy weapons
Honestly, I don't regret killing Millicent for this talisman, it works great with dual katanas and claws, and i have seen that it also works with de AoW of the Marais greatsword. Also, that way she doesn't become Malenia 2, and completely ruins another region, like what happened in Caelid
- Anonymous
This would be perfect on a dual dagger build but hell if I'm gonna murder someone, even just an NPC line of code to get this thing. I feel like From do this on purpose in their games to see who will give up their last bit of humanity for PURE POWER.
- Anonymous
Sure, she's just code, but I don't need to min-max that badly.
- Anonymous
Soooo why can’t our character just rip it off her when you complete her quest?
- Anonymous
I don’t need this talisman. Who cares about some +5 dex when I can help the arguably best girl.
- Anonymous
It would make more sense if this was the reward for completing Millicent's quest, and if you kill her before that you get Rotten Winged Sword Insignia. It's the opposite instead, for some reason
Pro tip: get this on you frenzy flame ending because everything dies anyway
- Anonymous
Funny how all it takes for people to kill one of the more helpful and kind-hearted NPC is a good item.
Funnier even that they wallow in self-pity about how bad they feel, as if it wasn't a completely voluntary action derived from their own greed for min-maxing their dex build.
Funniest of all though, is the one guy with the massive paragraph justifying himself by stating that she isn't real. It's hilarious the length some people go to rationalise and justify what terrible deeds they've done.
- Anonymous
Wish there was a way to get this without murdering one of the few characters who treats the player as an actual friend. Wtf, fromsoft
- Anonymous
I got this from falling on her at the end of her quest before they patched it so you couldn't accidentally do that. I jumped from the ledge above her and did 1 damage. I was mad I lost the Somberstone but I guess I did need to kill her for this anyway...
- Anonymous
Yeah but wouldn't it be cool if you got that sweet ass prosthetic arm on your character if you used this.
- Anonymous
The amount of people in this thread guilt-tripping others for being willing to sometimes kill an imaginary person for the sake of SOME builds in a game most of us are playing through multiple times is legit obnoxious. I adore Millicent. But FromSoft arbitrarily decided that players who want to run Dex builds that benefit most from this talisman (so, a whole lot of them) have to kill her. Yes I feel bad killing her, but I'm not the one who decided to atrocity-gate an extremely useful item in a video game, and no matter how much I like Millicent, she's not a person, she's code, polygons, color, and voice lines recorded in a booth. Do I feel bad anyway, because she's well-written? Yes. Am I going to have trouble sleeping at night over this? No, because she doesn't exist. Is it necessary to double down on how hard the game already guilt-trips you for something the developers chose to make an unavoidable requirement for one of the best Dex-related talismans? No, it really isn't! I'm playing this game to have fun. My real life is depressing and frustrating enough without stumbling into dozens of people trying to make me feel like a bad person for doing something to someone who doesn't exist in some, not even all, of my playthroughs. So for everyone out here trying to make this even worse than it already is, I hope you're happy - you're making real people feel guilt over a fictional character who has a handful of lines per run. You've found a way to use a fictional person to hurt real people. Enjoy rolling around in all that self-righteousness.

For anyone else curious, windmill heights is the first point you can kill Millicent for her talisman, and then also kill Gowry for his.

When you want to use the Marais Sword but you're a Hero class with an eternal 9 Dex
Of course the cons are the sheer late-game progression needed and having to kill poor Millicent
- Anonymous
The speech she gives after you kill her really makes you feel terrible
- Anonymous
Killed her and her dialogue while dying makes me feel like a real pos
- Anonymous
I gotta hand it to u … kill her an receive a round of app-awes
- Anonymous
I mean if you help her against her sisters instead of killing her, she dies from scarlet rot and seasonal depression anyways. She was kind of a downer with all her mommy issues. Not really setting her all that much. Also the fact this talisman is a 2-in-one in itself AND stacks with any of the heirlooms and rotten sword sig? Sorry but on our NG+ 1 year anniversary I divorced Millicent with a twinblade to the face. It's not you it's me boo. It worked out though, not only did she not get half my stuff, I got half her arm.
- Anonymous
I thought I could close my heart to it on ng2... I was wrong. Beware fellow tarnished
- Anonymous
Congrats. She is dead. Maybe your twin katanas really needed that hand. Or your Arcane stat wasn't giving you enough bleed buildup on attacks. Maybe. Your Strength friend will never know what a monster you are, your crazy Spellcaster GF or your protective Faith brother will never notice. Was it worth it? To go down the path of a dexterity build, to help her just to rip her arm off? I hope you can forget it.

Typical Miyazaki move to lock such a useful talisman behind a heartbreaking betrayal.
- Anonymous
For some reason From won't let us optimize our builds without being depraved. Sometimes I question Miyazaki's sanity.
- Anonymous
Does this factor in multiple targets? i.e., hitting three mobs at once will activate the first tier?

I can't f**ing believe what I have done
I helped her fight the sisters, and then rested at a grace. I was going back to talk to her, she's sitting there next to the lake.
I'm just running up that hill next to her, I jumped down- I LANDED ON HER, SHE DIED
man

Are the Talisman Tradeable trough Multiplayer?
I Cant Hurt Millicent because its one off my Favorite Npcs in Game

After obtaining this, if you return to Gowry, he's already dead.

+5 to DEX & +99 to emotional damage for having to kill Millicent :(
But at least this combined with Rotten sword insignia & thorny cracked tear boosts waterfowl dance dmg by A LOT
- Anonymous
I really want this, but I wanna stack it with the other reward, and I'm not planning on NG+ since I prefer trying different characters. Can anybody give it to me? I can give you anything

Contemplating my first NG+ playthrough and realizing that I will probably want this talisman. I think the best thing to do is kill her in Windmill and just rip the bandaid off as quickly as possible.
- Anonymous
the combination of this, rotten winged, lord of blood exhault and a pair of bloody peelers is downright nightmare fuel
- Anonymous
Why does this stack and rotten insignia doesnt? Does this game want me to be a monster?

Top 5 most evil character in elden ring (not incl bosses)

4- Verre
3- Seluvis
2- Dung-Eater
1- Maidenless tarnished who own this talisman

If I have 55 dexterity and have no need for the Unalloyed Gold Needle, would it be better to get this Prosthesis or the Rotten Winged Sword Insignia?
For reference I'm currently 55 Dex 30 Faith 30 Arc (yes I'm trash but I'm having fun) and strictly PvE, no PvP whatsoever.
Dual katanas mostly, sometimes Bolt of Grandad and dual greatswords when I'm feeling the jumpies

I'm a monster...
I forgot to get the spells from Gowry, too, before I killed her, so he also had to die.
- Anonymous
So if i want this talisman, do i miss out on any rewards for killing her before the invasion(Windmill)?

How’s the damage with a barbaric roar R2? Worth it for my strength build or nah?
- Anonymous
Why couldn't it be "Kenneth Haight's prosthesis" I actually want to kill him. Forgive me Milicent. Because I don't.
- Anonymous
"If you chose to aid her at the end of her quest line and successfully fend of her sisters, she will drop the Unalloyed Gold Needle instead and this talisman can no longer be obtained during this playthrough until a new NG+ cycle is started."
This is not totally true. You can obtain both talisman if you kill her without talk to her at the end

For those of you carefully planning out Millicent's demise to get this, you can't kill her when she appears in Altus Plateau after giving her the needle, you have to then ALSO get her Prosthetic arm in Shaded Castle, give it to her, kill Godskin Apostle in Windmill Village and THEN kill her when she appears there after reloading the area.
