- Unknown if this is obtainable legitimately, may be an item NPCs use to cast the ability on players, it does the same attack that the giant flowers cast on you and it takes a VERY long time to cast(2-5 seconds), does a weird AOE that sparsely and randomly hits spots in an area(doesn't damage the whole area consistently), lasts for several seconds and does like 600ish damage on average with 99 faith.
- Used by Melina when summoned during the fight against Morgott, the Omen King.

Calling it now that Miranda was an ancestor of Marika. The connections to calling down light like a golden founding rain of stars, the association with the maiden to the Crucible, Malenia's own connections with flowers and her Empyrean status. It all fits just a little too well.

So the crucible was a flower, maybe they scrapped that concept because they didn't want to draw a connection to Malenia's flowers

Maybe it'll be DLC, like how Old Hunter NPCs in Bloodborne used Old Hunter gear even if you didn't have the DLC for that.

This would have been a fun lil item to use, it makes me sad it's been scraped.

Just came across someone on PSN using this during our fight with Niall, was pretty confused and still am.

I'm going to assume this is either a scrapped item, or DLC content

If only we got Aspect of the Crucible: Wings and this item. Makes for a good Angel build.

interestingly, you can actually see this item in use during the "Rise, Tarnished" launch trailer, at about 1:44 in the youtube video its being used by a player in the traveling noble set
its probably fully functional and, at one point, properly implemented in the game world, but from forgot to flip a switch that made it actually drop similar to what happened with banished knight engvall
if thats not the case then hopefully we see this item implemented in DLC, i doubt its amazing but reusable item spells are cool and i'd love to see more of them

“Miyazaki, check out this new Tool I made for Elden Ring, what do you think?”
“Looks good - wait a second, S scaling in FAITH?! YOU’RE FIRED!!! You know Faith is only in the game for me to keep underpowered!”

i summoned melina once and she used this, maybe its the same as the unobtainable spells she has? makes sense to me since theres also an unobtainable erdtree prayer book
added with cheat engine, it does the same attack that the giant flowers cast on you and it takes a VERY long time to cast lol, does a weird AOE that sparsely and randomly hits spots in an area(doesn't damage the whole area consistently), lasts for several seconds and does like 600ish damage on average with 99 faith

Used "Prayer" at the boss fight for Miranda, but this yielded nothing. I wonder if maybe there is an illusionary wall somewhere in the game that requires 50 hits, like that in the Volcano Manor, that maybe hides this item. I really want a faith scaling reusable item lol

I really want to know what this is and where to get it, because I have been looking for the spell that does what the poison plants does and this just might be an item version of it

Pulling 300ish ticks per pillar with patch 1.09 and 38 in faith. Doubtful they updated it, but seems to have gotten augmented from the wide scaling changes and 1.09.
