Nepheli Loux, Warrior is an NPC in Elden Ring. Nepheli Loux is a warrior and fellow tarnished who was ordered by decree from her adoptive father to kill and dethrone Godrick. She wears clothing similar to the starting Hero class, and she can help you in the battle against Godrick the Grafted if summoned. Her summoning sign is golden and is just outside the boss fog. Other NPC Summon opportunities include boss fights against Godfrey, First Elden Lord and Omenkiller (in Village of the Albinaurics). Progress in her questline to have her summon sign available for these encounters.
The puppet of Nepheli Loux can be summoned for aid in battle by using the Nepheli Loux Puppet Ashes.
Let the scars I carve remind them.
I am Nepheli Loux. Warrior.
Nepheli Loux Location in Elden Ring
Nepheli Loux can initially be found at Stormveil Castle, inside a room before reaching the Secluded Cell site of grace. [Map link]
- While outside Roundtable Hold, she can be attacked and drops Stormhawk Axe when defeated.
- Her adoptive father is Gideon Ofnir, leader of Roundtable Hold. Her real father might be Godfrey, First Elden Lord.
- After defeating Godrick the Grafted and exhausting the initial dialog with Gideon Ofnir at Roundtable Hold, you can find her in the room outside the library.
- After exhausting her dialogue at Roundtable Hold, you can find her under the stone bridge leading up to the Village Of The Albinaurics. [Map link]
- After defeating Omenkiller, Nepheli will return to Roundtable Hold, crouching near the bottom of the stairs next to the blacksmith.
- Nepheli questline point of failure: If the player speaks to Melina at the Forge of Giants site of grace (triggering the cutscene with the Roundtable Hold) before finishing Nepheli's dialogue and defeating Omenkiller at the Village of the Albinaurics, then she will disappear for good. Her Stormhawk Axes drop at the village and the questline ends. To avoid this failure, defeat Omenkiller and finish her dialogue before resting at the Forge of Giants.
- Nepheli questline point of failure: if you do not give Nepheli the Stormhawk King key item at roundtable hold before you defeat Maliketh, she leaves and her questline cannot be completed. Once you unlock Ashen Capital she disappears from the roundtable hold, and her questline is locked out for the playthrough.
Nepheli Loux Questline: How to complete Nepheli Loux's Quest
Her Father's Orders
- Find Nepheli inside the room to the north of the heavily guarded Stormveil Castle courtyard.
- Exhaust her dialogue so that she offers her help in fighting Godrick the Grafted.
- (Optional) Before you go through the gold fog door, there is a summoning sign next to it that you can use to summon Nepheli.
- Regardless if you are playing online or offline, you can still use her summoning sign.
- After defeating Godrick, she moves to the room outside the library in Roundtable Hold. Speak to her and exhaust her dialogue.
- She won't move here if you didn't talk to Gideon Ofnir at all yet. Talk to him and reload at the site of grace and she will appear.
- You must also rest at the Godrick the Grafted site of grace for her to appear at the Hold.
- She'll then reward you with the Arsenal Charm.
Seluvis's Potion
- Finish her quest above, or skip it. Either way this quest will be doable. You must meet her at the Roundtable Hold once.
- Note: If you offer her Seluvis's potion when meeting her in the Roundtable Hold the first time, she will refuse to take it. Once she returns to the Roundtable Hold from the Village of the Albinaurics, you can offer it again by speaking to Gideon about her despair.
- Speak to Preceptor Seluvis and receive the quest.
- If Seluvis is dead, you can continue on with the quest starting from the next step.
- Find Nepheli at the Village Of The Albinaurics, exhaust her dialogue, and defeat the elite enemy Omenkiller which can be found on the other side of the bridge above her.
- Return to the Roundtable Hold and find Nepheli downstairs, next to the first fog wall. Speak to her.
- Speak to Gideon Ofnir and ask him about Nepheli.
- If the player has the potion, he will offer you a choice: either give him the potion so that he can dispose of it, or give it to Nepheli. If it is given to Nepheli, she will become unresponsive and leave. She can then be found in Seluvis's secret room, turned into a puppet.
- Alternatively, the potion can be given to Dung Eater when he is encountered in Roundtable Hold after obtaining a Seedbed Curse. This will allow you to obtain the Dung Eater Puppet summon later. Note that doing so will end Dung Eater's questline and prevent you from getting the Blessing of Despair ending.
- Afterward, you can return to Preceptor Seluvis to complete his portion of the quest.
- If the player does not have the potion, the quest progresses along the line where Nepheli does not take the potion.
- This happens if Seluvis is dead and the player found Nepheli at the Albinauric Village and killed the Omen Killer having never received the quest from Seluvis. This can still happen if Seluvis is still alive.
- If the player has the potion, he will offer you a choice: either give him the potion so that he can dispose of it, or give it to Nepheli. If it is given to Nepheli, she will become unresponsive and leave. She can then be found in Seluvis's secret room, turned into a puppet.
- The Stormhawk King found in the Chapel of Anticipation can be given to Nepheli in Roundtable Hold, provided she did not take Seluvis's Potion. This is required for the quest to progress.
- Roderika's questline must be progressed to the point where she can upgrade spirit ashes, before you can give Nepheli the Stormhawk King ashes.
Lord of Limgrave
- After completing the quest above by not giving Nepheli Seluvis's Potion, you must progress Kenneth Haight's quest to the point where he's in Fort Haight saying he has to look for a fitting lord to rule Limgrave.
- After defeating Morgott and (optionally) talking to Gideon about helping Nepheli get back on her feet, you can find Nepheli, Kenneth, and Gostoc in the Stormveil Castle throne room near the Godrick the Grafted site of grace. If they do not appear, spawn from the Godrick the Grafted site of grace and rest at the Secluded Cell site of grace (do not merely teleport to it), which may fix the issue. (If this doesn't work, try the same in reverse: travel to Secluded Cell and rest there, then run to Godrick and rest again there. Also, you can try going back to Fort Haight, where Kenneth Haight usually stands, which might trigger him and Nepheli to move to the throne room.)
- The quest will still advance if either Kenneth or Gostoc is dead. They are not required for Nepheli to move to the throne room.
- Warning: Killing Gideon prevents this dialogue and results in Nepheli dying where she is at the time, leaving her items behind.
- If all requirements have been met and the NPCs have still not moved to Godrick's throne room, rest at the Godrick the Grafted site of grace.
- If none of the above works, you still need to talk to Nepheli downstairs at Roundtable hold and give her the Stormhawk King.
- Rewards: Nepheli will give the player an Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone at the end of her questline. She can also be summoned for the fight with Godfrey, First Elden Lord in Leyndell, Ashen Capital.
- An additional Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone will be sold by Gatekeeper Gostoc for 20,000 Runes. (Not applicable to his bell bearing if he was killed.)
Dialogue: Nepheli Loux
Introduction
- "Be proud. You were a fine warrior.
Your only mistake was your choice of master.
Let the winds lift you, to a higher place."
When attacked
- I see. You are but a simple villain. Let the scars remind you; this lesson comes from Nepheli Loux!
- (On player kill) You wouldn't even register as a threat to father. Hurry up and die.
When killed
- Father... I am slain. Please...become Elden Lord...
- "Well, who do we have here?
Tarnished, are you? Clearly not one of Godrick's lot.
I am Nepehli Loux.. Tarnished and warrior, like you.
I'm here by decree of my father.
How utterly repellant this is...
This "grafting" of Godrick's ill befits a Lord.
He's tainted the very winds." - "If you intend to challenge Godrick,
I ask you call upon me.
The winds run could with his deeds.
I'm certain father would permit me aid the fight."
Small Talk
- "Apologies, but I've idled long enough.
As fellow Tarnished we must each follow our own guidance. Down whatever road takes us to the throne of Elden Lord.
- "You again...
I thought you'd receive a summons to the Roundtable.
Nepheli Loux. We met at Stormveil.
I'm glad to see you here. I have something for you.
I found it in Godrick's grafting grounds.
You defeated him. You should have it. Make good use of it. I don't intend to make a habit of scavenging corpses."
[Hands you x1 Arsenal Charm] - "Ah yes. I wonder if you've met my foster father?
He's in his study. The room Ensha's guarding just over there.
If you haven't already, I advise you introduce yourself.
Father is the leader of the Roundtable.
I'm sure talking to him will be worth your while." - "It's about time I headed off.
I'll see you again, warrior, should the fates deign it."
At the Village of the Albinaurics
- Oh, it's you... Well, what do you make of it? What's happened to this village?
I witnessed a sight much the same, in my infancy.
The oppression of the weak. Murder and pillage unchecked.
A waking nightmare, made by men. - But this time, I'm a woman grown.
And though the suffering cannot be undone, I can still mete out justice.
Justice to the oppressors.
Let the scars I carve remind them. I am Nepheli Loux, Warrior.
At the Roundtable Hold after defeating the boss of the Village of the Albinaurics
- Ah, you... Please, leave me be. It's pathetic, I know, but I...need to think.
- (After speaking to Gideon)
...So you know already, do you? Right. It's true. My father cast me out.
For indulging my emotions. Forgetting the mission. Punishment for offing his pawns.
Father...rather, Lord Gideon has offered me guidance all my life.
I would have done anything for him, to place him on the throne of Elden Lord.
And yet I... Though it was not my intent... I betrayed him... - I...can no longer trust in father... To think he'd order his men to enact such tragedy... Where is the justice he purports, in that?
He once told me that if he became Elden Lord, he would never allow the downtrodden to be cheated ever again.
Was he simply lying to me? - No, no, no... How could I say that? Father has always given me his guidance... And now...I've lost it...
After giving her the Stormhawk King
- "In this ash, I can smell the ancient storm.
It reminds me of my first hawk." - I'm... not like Roderika. I don't feel the presence of spirits, let alone see them.
Still, this ash... It reminds me of my first hawk. Thank you
At Stormveil Castle throne room
- "It's been some time. I must thank you, for your aid.
I told father I would be with him no longer.
I remembered the vow I took when I first became a warrior, so many moons ago.
This land is much like the one from which I hail.
I will call upon the storm, to drive away the foulness that has settled on the winds." - "Again, I am Nepheli Loux. Warrior.
Some call me by the title of Lady, but I remain the same woman underneath.
Though I have now abandoned my former guidance.
I cannot express how much you've helped me.
[Hands you x1 Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone]
Should you become Elden Lord. I would gladly lighten your burden." - "Farewell, fellow warrior. I will remain, to summon the storm.
But your guidance, and your fight... Surely lie elsewhere."
Nepheli Loux Notes & Trivia
- Depending on quest progression, Nepheli can be summoned for the fights against Godrick the Grafted, Omenkiller, and Godfrey, First Elden Lord.
- In combat, she wields a pair of Stormhawk Axes.

First play thru I was like pfft… I don’t need guides. I’ll just enjoy the game learning by myself. 2 hours later after I find her in seluvises chamber I never stopped using guides

Such a stupid thing to progress the questline. Spawn at one grace and go to other to rest, so that you can progress. FCKN FIX YOUR QUESTLINES! Do I have to look up every goddamn thing, cuz it fckn doesnt make sense?
- Anonymous
I hope the Tarnished thoroughly scrubbed doll Nepheli down after getting her back. Imagine the smell after a irredeemably degenerate freak like Seluvis/Pidia had been using her.

Yes yes my dear, drink this potion and then we will never be separated as we live together in perfect bliss. No more feeling the pain that Gideon caused, you will exist in perfect bliss. You will be free of pain and suffering.

I think that the name "Nepheli" is a reference to the Nephelim, who were giant beings who possessed great strength and power.

she should have a special interaction once you complete the quest where she sits on her throne and has you caress and massage her feet that'd be pretty cool i think

Complete waste of an npc, hopefully gets given more attention in a dlc but she really feels like they didn't want to commit to anything. This is beyond leaving things vague. Literally feels like "I have wind powers, I'm a warrior and champion of the down trodden, I have the same last name as this other famous tarnished but we're not going to even acknowledge that, oh I'm also gonna run stormveil sorry not going to give you any information on how that happened" there's leaving things obscure for the player to figure out and then there's that. This is just lazy development relying on the fact that die hard fans will eat it up and completely fill in any blanks with their head then act like it was there all along. This game gives zero reason to even care about anyone, Gideon is right everyone should be considered nothing more than tools to be used until they outlive their usefulness.

Another point of failure is if you kill her father.
Could have guessed that but it would be nice if the wiki said so.
- Anonymous
Should be mentioned that it seems that if you have already given her the Stormhawk King item you will not be able to give her Selivus's potion and you will not be able to gain her as a puppet until a new playthrough.
- Anonymous
If she won't move...
what fixed it for me was teleporting to Godrick the grafted site of grace, then walking through the throne room and out the back of the castle, talking to the grape ghost, resting at the lake facing cliffs site of grace, then teleporting back to godrick and walking back into the throne room
- Anonymous
Sir Gideon wants her to dethrone her father. No...
. No...No...That's not gonna happen. He's Daddy Loux.
Just gave her the ashes. Went to the castle, surprise, she's not there. Tp to one site and rest in the other, not there. Rest at the other side and rest in the one, yep not there. Go talk with the dumb guy on Fort Haight, come back, not there, Lovely, not Nephi for me I guess
- Anonymous
If you complete her quest up to the point where Gideon disowns her before you get Seluvis's Potion, you won't be able to give her the Stormhawk Ashes at that point even if you have them. This mean killing the Shade of Loretta is mandatory on her quest line.

I played the game when it first came out and I'm playing it again right now. Did they tweak her? She seems stupidly good against Godrick.

What a poorly implemented questline. To complete this I had to keep the wiki open for basically every step. NPCs did not move to the Stormveil throne room without me carefully resting at very specific sites of grace in a guide outlined here.
Fromsoft really dropped the ball with ER's NPC quests. I wouldn't mind if they removed 3 or 4 of them, in order to actually properly implement the others. Why can I complete every step for this quest and then progress is blocked by needing to beat MORGOTT
I haven't even beaten Rennala! Why would they block a Limgrave quest line, the earliest zone in the game, behind the boss that guards the damn Erdtree? That's 30hrs of gameplay away, you're like to forget where Nepheli was and her motivations/problems in those 30hrs. Then you're back to reading the wiki to finish quests instead of playing the game.
Elden Ring doesn't get anywhere near enough criticism.

Ridiculous, my quest was stuck because i didn't rest at the Secluded Cell site of grace after killing Morgot. Why would i go back there and rest at the site of grace ???
- Anonymous
Gave potion to Gideon. Gave hawk ashes to Nepheli. Still she doesnt move to the throne room, doesnt matter how much I rest at sites of grace. Assuming the fact that I've killed Kenneth right after clearing fort and getting his dagger breaks the quest, although not sure yet.
- Anonymous
I forgot to talk to her before i kill godrick. After i kill godrick, i don't know where is she

Odd, the page says that killing Gideon prevents the dialogue with Nepheli at Stormveil, but I only found and talked to Nepheli at Stormveil after Gideon was already dead. She said she's no longer associated with Gideon and gave me the Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone

This is the kind of warrior woman Sirris of the Useless Realms imagines herself as when she touches herself at night.
An absolute champ against Godrick and a warrior dedicated to ending oppression. If you turn her into a puppet (on purpose) instead of giving her the happy ending she deserves, DNI.
- Anonymous
Can’t seem to find her at Stormveil before even fighting Godrick (even the corpse she mourns over isn’t there). I reached Seluvis and got his potion before going into Stormveil, mind you, but I can’t find her in Stormveil, any part of the Roundtable, nor the Village of the Albinaurics. Anyone have this issue?

Elden Ring is for hollows, These comments from pixel-attracted folks are proof.

i rly want the talisman but she for someone wont give it to me? is it because i didnt talk to her in godricks castle. the first time i talked to her was in the roundatble hold.

She's awesome, but I think it's funny that she's described as a mere axe wielding barbarian and sure enough uses one of the worst weapon types (dual axes that scale quality) in the game.
She's a true hero when summoned though. Hope her story gets some love in the dlc (although I assume in typical from fashion they're gonna add new NPC quests for that).

never was able giving nepheli bird item. wiki doesnt mantioned on which point quest failed

You forgot to mention that you need to kill Morgott the Omen King in Lyndell, Royal Captial

>Finish her quest
>Nepheli is now RULER OF STORMVEIL
>(This changes nothing)
>Enemies are all still hostile

I can't be the only one disappointed with most the quests in this game.

the fact that they put in a muscular str focused dark skinned barefoot dual axe barbarian girl with a whole castle to her name who may or may not be directly related to godfrey in the game and they don't let you marry her is genuinely making me consider why i was even born man

For anyone having issues with getting the questline to end (Gostoc stopping stomping), warp to Godricks site of grace and rest twice. Dont pass time or anything, rest, get up rest again, he'll be gone. Im doing a max level every weapon approach, so I am on run 17 of farming ancient dragon stones, and this has not failed me.

For me she dropped her axes in the roundtable area, this was after the dung eater got loose and killed some npcs I think. I did talk with Melina and miss her quest though. But her axes are at the roundtable

I wish they'd fix this glitch. I'm getting really tired of jumping from one site to another, only to see Gostoc stomping Godrick's guts into the ground.

as of 1.09 the "FIX" when Nepheli is stuck is still to past time in Godrick's Grace.

Lots of players having issues with this questline vis a vis "Seluvis Potion." I think the problem is this, simply: *meeting her at the Albinaurics Village WITHOUT THE POTION in your inventory essentially means you can never give it to her.* That seems to be the issue. Meet Seluvis and get the potion BEFORE you meet Nephili at the Village. Otherwise, there's simply no option to give it to her since IT IS GIDEON WHO MENTIONS THE POTION when you talk to him about Nephilis depression after the Village events - with it in your inventory. A very subtle and annoying detail.
This is kinda dumb because Seluvis is way to the north of Liurnia and the Village is just along the south of Liurnia so you'd likey meet her there first after beating Godrick. You lock yourself out of a questline without knowing it by naturally progressing. Very poor design.
- Anonymous
I never did the Kenneth quest because I was farming the flail from pumpkin head... also never gave her the ashes. Burned the tree and I found two Stormhawk axes at the Village of Albinaurics. I think the quest line is over for me.
- Anonymous
I don't know where I went wrong. Nepheli has the Stormhawk King, Kenneth is in his tower and looking for a warrior and Gostoc is stomping on Godrick's head. I can't remember if Gideon has given me the dialog to get Nepheli back on her feet but when I talk to him that option isn't there. She isn't going to the throne room.
- Anonymous
I hope the DLC restores whatever was cut out of this questline. All questlines TBH, cause the story of elden ring is almost halfway decent.
- Anonymous
Imagine getting to be Vendrick after beating the game and having an npc link the fire instead
- Anonymous
FYI I've never gone to Stormveil Castle, has slain Radahn and then met Ranni and agreed to serve her. I got Seluvis' potion and I could meet Nepheli for the first time at the Round Table. I was afraid avoiding Stormveil would mess this quest, but all seems good.
- Anonymous
Just a note here that it is NOT optional to talk to Gideon about getting Nepheli back on her feet after finishing Kenneth Haight's questline. He automatically initiates that discussion when you talk to him, but she will not appear at Stormveil until you do so.
- Anonymous
I wish Kenneth would give an hint at least that his related someway with Nepeheli
In my first run I randomly did all the steps, including give ger the ashes, but without reading I'd never figure out that I Just had to sit at the Godrick's arena grace to make all spawn at the trone.
No clue about It, nobody talk about each other, they look like two unfinished independent quest
If you kill Gostoc after his arrival at Godrick's grace site without talking to him, it may bug the quest.
On my third character/playthrough, the only person I hadn't spoken to was Gostoc and the quest didn't trigger. I spoke to him, and lo and behold, the end. Nepheli and Kenneth show up, Gostoc moved to the Throne room, I spoke to all three of them and got the two Ancient Dragon Smithing Stones.
On my fourth, the questline stalled out at the very end. I couldn't get Nepheli and Kenneth to appear no matter what I tried. The only difference in that character was that I had accidentally killed Gostoc without speaking to him after defeating Godrick when he appears stamping on the bloody stain of Godrick's body (who had mysteriously died from a comet azur shaped wound this run)
I can only surmise that speaking to Gostoc is actually necessary to get to the point where the three of them are in the throne room, as Gostoc is necessary for the scene to set up as long as he is alive.
I don't advise killing Gostoc at all, if you want his Ancient Smithing Stone.
Mind you, all of what I just said could be complete garbage. I didn't speak to Seluvis at all during the fourth run, but I did during the third. Maybe that has something to do with it, but still. I recommend you keep Gostoc alive at the very least, and avoid Seluvis if you don't care about his questline. Everything went perfect for me that run. I also only spoke to Gideon once that entire playthrough, because his introduction dialogue played when I went to go ask him about Nepheli. Then, I gave her the Stormhawk King ash, and everything went pretty smoothly after that.
I don't even know if half of this applies to most people, just thought I'd share, in case it might be useful.

I want her to crush my skull
In honorable combat of course what do you mean I wasn’t talking about something else maybe probably

Failed this quest on NG+1 because she never accepted the stormhawk king ashes while crouched at the roundtable, downstairs where blacksmith is. I did talk with gideon, never gave the selluvis potion as well, and did Kenneth Haight's part as well. So I just followed story and beat the fire giant. Still not accepting ashes, then maliketh and she is gone.
Honestly ... no clue at all what happened here, Roderika had upgraded my dung eater ashes to 10 as well. I think I did everything there has to be done.
- Anonymous
I'm thinking the final appearance in the Throne room is just time based, after a few playthroughs they would all eventually convene no matter the site of grace I picked.
- Anonymous
i misread and assumed since you killed morgott they would move to THE throne....
- Anonymous
You may have to do something with Seluvis's potion before this quest will end. That seemed to be the case for me.
- Anonymous
For me I did Kenneth Haight quest and kept fistic alive. After killing Morgot I traveled to lake facing cliff then took the ladder to the throne room. No one there. Then I rested at Godrick the Grafted grace. No one there. Then I ran to secluded cell grace and rest. Then they all showed up and completed it!
- Anonymous
I can confirm many other’s solution:
After completing the above steps, through to killing Morgott, the quest did not progress until I had rested at the Secluded Cell grace.
So for anyone else confused about the progression being halted try that.
- Anonymous
She never stopped talking about her smelly ash so I figured I botched this quest by never talking to Seluvis. However, something about Secluded Cell grace seems to trigger her to leave roundtable hold. Try warping (not just sitting) at Secluded Cell and then checking.
- Anonymous
If you burn the tree before giving her the stormhawk, she will disappear from the roundtable hold with her axes left in her place. You need to give her the hawk before you fight Maliketh

Perhaps hit a (new?) dead end point for her quest. First play through so still new to this game, but anyway I killed Kenneth (so his storyline was not done) and Gostoc was accidentally killed by an enemy at Stormveil castle, so neither show up at Godrick's throne room. I was able to give Nepheli the Stormhawk king ashes, exhausted dialogue but she doesn't move out of the basement of the roundtable hold. She just sits there saying that the ashes remind her of first hawk. Perhaps this can be confirmed and updated on site. But either way I tried to move and rest at various sites of grace to see if she pops up anywhere but nothing.
If anyone else had both Gostoc and Kenneth die, let me know. I think that is the biggest change I see from the other descriptions, at least one other person (Kenneth or Gostoc) must be alive for her quest to finish.

So I'm at the end of the game, I haven't killed the last two bosses yet since I'm trying to finish Ranni's quest, and Nepheli isn't at the roundtable anymore. Her axes were where she sits, but I have no idea where she is now. Am I locked out of Selivus' quest because of this?
- Anonymous
Once Nepheli is given the Storm Hawk Ashes, there doesn't seem to be the option of giving her the potion from that point forward.
- Anonymous
I tried everything in the wiki and it didn't work.
Then I tried to talk to Morgott's body when you return to that site and he's on the ground.
Afterwards, I teleported to Godrick's site of grace and then walked out, rested at the Secluded Cell grace, and then it seemed to work.
I don't think I did anything else.

This is the stupidest videogame logic I have ever seen. Doing actual quest did nothing, talking to Nepheli, Kenneth or Gideon did nothing. I thought that I had to get rid of potion to progress, even though I already had no way of giving it to Nepheli since she was talking about her stupid hawk. But what actually fixed it? I traveled to Godrick the Grafted grace, rested at it - nothing. Talked to Gostok for a millionth time while he was stomping corpse's face and rested at Secluded Cell grace - fixed. How or why - I will never know. And propbably do not even want to know.

I cant find her from the hold... I talked with her only once but didnt exhaust the dialogues so I didnt get any of her stuff either. Then killed Godrick and the Omenkiller and someone invaded the Hold, after which NPC changed places. Now she wont spawn in the cellar room. Any idea where she is or if I broke her quest?

I seemed to be stuck on her quest cause after I gave her the Stormhawk King she'd just repeat the dialogue about how the ashes reminded her of something.
I then killed Gostoc tho and after that the quest progressed as normal.
No idea why

she said she would gladly lighten my burden,
wonder what would that might be

There are definitely more points of failure than those listed here, unfortunately. She left her axes in round table hold, I'm not sure when because I could never find the ashes to give her after omenkiller.

Since it requires completing her questline, I wish she would summon the Stormhawk King if you summon her for Godfrey.

One thing I don’t see mentioned is that there’s one more point of failure if you speak to her in the roundtable hold before you have the stormhawk ashes she’ll leave and you’ll be unable to progress after

Protip: Go straight to her spot in Stormveil and reload the area.
You can then summon her and explore Stormveil together. Try to get a healing spell to lengthen your little date with her.

It says that you need to talk to Gideon about getting Nepheli back on her feet, except I didn't get that option. I progressed through the game to the point where I had exhausted all of Gideon's dialogue and I never got Nepheli's option.
Dunno what I did to softlock myself because not only is she not the lord of limgrave, but she doesn't disappear and leaving her stuff behind either. I killed Gideon at that point, so I'm kind of lost

Questline wont progress for me for some reason. She keeps telling me how her ash smells

There's another way to accidentally break her quest. If you burn the Erdtree, AND you've collected all 5 Seedbed Curses, then you can't give the potion to anyone BUT Nephali. Gideon will be gone, and talking to Dung Eater will give him ALL the seedbed curses at once, killing him so he can't take the potion either.
Obviously you can avoid giving it to her but it still leaves you with no way to advance her quest.

Or you could just kill her if you just want the two axes right when you meet her just sayin

Anon 11th Nov 21:09 is wrong about those steps needing to be followed to get Nepheli, Haight and Gostoc together in the throne room. I've just been given one ancient dragon stone by Nepheli and bought one from Gostoc. I defeated Morgott and tried to pass through the thorn barrier and I have activated numerous grace checkpoints at mountaintops of the giants but I have not spoken to Enia or Gideon and I have not had any dialogue options from Melina regarding the cardinal sin or her being the kindling.
I wasn't able to get Gostoc, Nepheli and Kenneth in the Throne room until I went to the Secluded cell and not only rested there, but skipped time 'til morning. THAT fixed all my issues.
