Noble's Estoc is a Thrusting Sword in Elden Ring. The Noble's Estoc scales primarily with Strength and Dexterity and is a good Weapon for easy use or for selling. It comes with the skill, Impaling Thrust that allows its pierce to overcome enemy shields.

Estoc carried by wandering nobles. Made to be easy to wield.

Daubed with gold from tip to tail, it should fetch a good sum.

Where to Find Noble's Estoc in Elden Ring

The Noble's Estoc weapon can be found at the following location:

Dropped by Wandering Nobles in Limgrave, Raya Lucaria Academy and Altus Plateau, who wear feathered caps and coats.
- Four can be found among the Troll-pulled Carriage's caravan to the west of Waypoint Ruins and Waypoint Ruins Cellar Site of Grace. [Map Link]
- One can be found northwest of the Debate Parlor Site of Grace, guarding the stairs up to two Glintstone Sorcerers.
- One can be found immediately south of the Rampartside Path Site of Grace, digging by the cliffside. [Map Link]

Noble's Estoc can be upgraded by using Smithing Stones.
This weapon has a special R2, shared with the Estoc.
Sell Value: 1000 Runes
Base drop rate is 0.5% (at 100 Discovery)
NOTE: As of Patch 1.08, the speed of Thrusting Swords' crouching attacks has been reduced. Poise damage has also been reduced, but only for PVP.
NOTE: As of Patch 1.09, the scaling values of this weapon were changed. Please refer to the Upgrades Table of this weapon below.

  Is there knowledge of different drop rates in different areas?
  I've been only doing faith runs and the first time I got this thing was completely by accident on the way up to the Miriel church.
  I wanted it again on a second run because I really like the moveset and look and grinded the 4x behind the carriage on sellens ruins (basically nuking everything with frenzied flame). Got up to 21k runes and no drop (feeling the 0,5% here ey).
  Then I decided to hed up to Miriels church again and it only took me one reload to drop the damn thing again.

  Rampartside Path is the best spot to farm this, kill only the noble with the sword, run back to grace, repeat. You can even snipe the noble with a bow from the grace, allowing you to get 15+ kills in per silver foot. Only run to him if he drops something. You'll have two in no time.

  I've been using this two handed with a Heavy infusion, just meeting the dexterity requirements. Paired with the Aristocrat Coat and Hat alongside the Knight Gauntlets and Greaves for a nice solid blend of defense and fashion. I was originally going to use the Leyndell Knight Gauntlets and Greaves but after the pain of farming the Noble equipment I decided to postpone another grindy farm xD

  Accidentally found this sword during fighting golem at Leyndell :D , they coming at me while the golem was sweeping the axe and kill them, my character is only has 9 Arcane, may be the golem has very high discovery then =))

  Didn’t know this was rare, I got it first drop to the right of Artist’s Shack in Eastern Liurnia. 2 Nobles carry them and you can ride Torrent down the eastern drop to the soldiers.

  I recommend farming them in front of leyndell's main gate. It's a stretch, but there are 2 nobles wielding this weapon there.

  Lower stat requirements, better looks & only slightly shorter range than cleanrot sword. I have always loved the rapier moveset & I was once one of those paired antspur bleed types (hell I still might be on a bad day) yet here is something i can respect. It is truly a noble weapon to see in pvp. You know that they likely had to grind for hours just to get it, you know that they have a healthy balance of optimization & stylistic clarification.

  “is a good Weapon for easy use or for selling.” Yah I don’t think I’ll be selling a weapon with a 0.5% drop chance. The only way it would be worth selling this is if by some miracle you had several of these early enough that 1000 runes matters which at that point you might as well try your shot at the lottery.

  I think Mistwood is the superior farming spot. Only 1 potential drop, but it's super close, and you don't have to port back to the grace, or clear a large number of enemies to do so. Running back instead of porting also allows you to farm 5+ nobles in 1 Fowl Foot.

  Got mine fairly quickly, ~10 mins, at Mistwood Outskirts with max Discovery. I think it's the better spot vs. Waypoint Cellar. I believe only 1 of the 3 nobles can drop the Estoc (the others wield Noble's Slender and a torch) at Mistwood, whereas Waypoint's got a reported 4 drop chances, but:
  
  -It's a faster run from Grace
  -at Waypoint, you need to either run back through the ruins and get Torrent down a tiny cellar entrance, which is surprisingly tricky to do consistently, or you need to kill everything aggro'd to you so you can port back. Porting is probably faster if you can kill everything fast enough, but still incurs a load screen
  -Killing everything efficiently at Waypoint requires huge AOE, basically limiting you to Waves of Gold, whereas you can farm with anything at Mistwood. This is an early game weapon and not everyone will have Sacred Relic Sword unlocked when they go to farm. Anything smaller than Waves of Gold will require additional enemy cleanup, which is time you're not farming.
  -At Mistwood, you can easily get 5+ drop chances in the same Silver Pickled Fowl Foot duration
  
  Both are probably good spots but my recommendation is definitely Mistwood, unless you're looking for other pieces like the Old Aristocrat's or Kaiden sets.

  Waypoint ruins cellar was the quickest way I got this. Had 212 discovery and it only took me about 20 minutes. Bring something with big AOE and you'll clear out the pack quickly

  Waypoint ruins cellar sog to go to the walking carriage nobles, 99 arcane with silver scarab using wave of gold aow, 15 minutes to get 2 noble slender swords and 2 nobles estocs. If you’re not at the complete end game I’d still recommend the location with high arcane, good luck!

  No idea why everyone is so negative about this weapon. Thrusting swords are already such an awesome moveset if youre at poise minimum, and this absolutely shreds Cold infused on my level 150 Starcaller Knight with 51 str/37 int, and would easily outperform the Estoc or any other Cold infused thrusting sword, let alone one that has the awesome R2 sweep mixup. And it looks mighty gorgeous winning me duels and invasions.

  If you’re trying an off meta, standard infused weapon with a weapon buff like orders blade/electrify etc. this is the move. It’s the perfect stat stick for minimum investment: good reach, good move set, just enough thrust damage to overcome a str builds physical resistances... and then your buff might actually outperform sacred/magic infusion and will get much better counter hit damage. The only problem is that every knob who sees your honest use of a thrust sword will immediately switch to cleanrot, quickstep. Don’t put quickstep on a thrust sword lol that’s gross. Impaling thrust is perfect.

  If you're still early game and Waypoint Ruins is a bit too busy of a location for you to farm for this I suggest Mistwood Outskirts SOG. Right next to it is a group of 3 nobles, one carrying this and one with the straight sword. They walk up and down the same road by themselves so it's a more stress free farm.

  ITS REAL! THE NOBLE ESTOC IS REALLLL!!! spent over 6 hours sprinting down there with the sacred relic sword and using weapon art. Silver tear mask, silver scarab and marikas sore seal. My arcane was like 90 so my discovery being around 260 which if I’m not wrong increases the chance by like .75 im working with a 1.25% chance and probably feeling the worst I’ve ever been grinding anything. Woke up this morning and on my second try the first noble I kill drops it. Myth busted

  Great sidearm for a dual Noble Slender Sword build. It looks the same at a glance. Use a bit of sleight of hand to switch to it towards the end of the fight, and finish with an unexpected thrust attack. Also good for sneaky parries.

  If for whatever reason you don't want to use the Soreseal or level up str/dex at all, this is the only rapier that almost all classes can use immediately and even power-stance. Sure it has the worst damage of all rapiers, but the base damage isn't significantly far behind the estoc if you're leveling dex a few points just to be able to use it.

  I just randomly acquired one after killing one of the zombie looking people in the consecrated snowfields. I had heard that it was a rare item before, I thought, so I had to look it up and here I am! What is so special about it, exactly?

  Does it look cool? Yes. Does it constantly deal less damage than the standard Estoc which is buyable or starting equipment? Also yes. It does have slightly better str scaling than the Estoc, but on a 55/55 quality build with quality infusion where it does best for damage it is still outclassed by a quality Estoc by 3 points. If you want to farm it for the prestige, go ahead. It's only a couple of points behind in damage so it's basically just as worthwhile to use. But otherwise save yourself the farming and just buy a normal estoc from Patches and/or the Liurnia Wandering Merchant.

  I had no idea this weapon was so rare, I got it the first time I reached Lyndell by killing those Wandering Nobles at that giant closed door.
  I guess my luck isn't that bad afterall.

  I farmed for hours to get 2 of the slender swords and decided I needed to hate myself again and farmed to of these. But my order rogue has appreciated being able to swap movesets. Rampartside grace is where I farmed for it, used radagoms rings of light for a clean sweep. As mad as you might get with their drops, the amount of erdleaf flowers you'll have will craft a lot of warming stones at least.

  Easy farm for faith builds. Start at the grace by Sellen, ride out to the caravan, put on the Silver Scarab and pop a Silver Fowlfoot, use a slam skill, Wrath of Gold, or even Wave of Gold if you're that far off, rinse & repeat. Got my 1st Noble's Estoc and Slender Sword in about 45 minutes. Farmed some more for 3 hours for the hell of it, and got 5 more estocs and 1 more sword. Then I went to the Schoolhouse Classroom grace at Raya Lucaria, and farmed 4 more Slender Swords from the 3 nobles outside in about 2 more hours to round up the st. Pretty zen, like that Warcraft dud who reached lvl 80 by picking flowers at the starting area.

  The Sacred Blade ash just feels oh so right with this weapon and the golden enchantment highlights the engraving in the center of the blade very nicely.

  Um, dont know if anyone has tried this but I just go to rennala and rebirth all my points into arcane except for the points i need to deal with the kaiden cavaliers or any enemy I'll be dealing with while farming something I want. Plus the silver scarab amulet that boosts discovery a ridiculous amount is easy to get in the hidden path to the haligtree in the grand staircase the large support landing has railing that is broken and you can jump off and there's an invisible floor run straight to the opening straight in front of you collect the grave Grovewort then smack the wall open the chest and equip then go anywhere you want to farm for anything. I'm level 149 but I usually get what I want after the 5th or 6th time with rebirth point dump into arcane and the silver scarab and the silver fowl foot that I craft. (I don't remember where I got the recipe for the fowl foot sorry)

  Farming for this sword would be so much less painful if only the undead aristocrats spirits in Carian Study Hall would drop their loot. There’s at least 20 of them in there and all of them are carrying this sword. It’s even more frustrating when most spirit versions of other enemies will still drop their items like the exiled soldiers in Fringefolk Hero’s Grave >_<
