Imagine one of these, but crafted specifically for Blaidd in the shape of a wolf's head. It'd be so sick, and we could save our bestie, too. If only.

you NEVER see this hat used and it's such a shame. love me disco ball head

is this a tinfoil hat joke? is this whole item just a tinfoil hat?

Fits like a glove with the beast champion set fashion and theme-wise.

There was a secret heretic path to choose as a "heretic" while wilding this helmet and making it destroyed by a certain enemy, a part of that path consisted then in destroying a pillar in a divine tower and then killing two-fingers on top of it, those where protected by their assassins and were quite challenging... I don't remember all the details from many years ago...
The installation of the game by FS seems to have dropped this mechanic of the quite old installation of the game or maybe they will put it back in a future dlc?

This is a nice Helmet. Although it's a shame that it doesn't do much in the way of Defense, it's still quite a sight to behold, given it's construction... I should make a character that uses this as his helmet. Or maybe I'll give it to my "Lord of Regrets" Character.

I don't care what y'all say, I kept this as my helmet most of my game right to the end and the final boss, and became Elden Lord with this beautifull piece of craftsmanship proudly on my head !
... maybe it endeed works as a barrier against the greatest will, after all ;)

Did thee guy entering the poise value get a seizure? Wtf is 6

The red glow/sheen really makes me feel like this has some sort of hidden effect
Also it has low strike resist because it is a helmet made of mirrors.

Love the world-building in the description. If you find this before you meet Iji, it makes you question what he(and Blaidd, if you met him in Limgrave) are up to.

"ITs A wAsTe Of A sToNe SwOrD kEy" Bro theres so many in the game and its not like you gonna be using all of them, by the end of my first game and using every stonesword key thing i saw I still had over 10 left (But i missed a couple of the locations like this one)

Guys, this is a lore piece. Supposed to tell you that Iji's helmet was constructed by Eternal City's rituals.
I'm pretty certain the reference to warding off the intervention of the Greater Will could be a testament to the fact that it has higher Status resistances than most other helmets of that weight class. Immunity, which governs poison (Ryckard), Robustness, for Bleed (Mogh) and Frostbite (Ranni), Focus for Sleep and Madness (Flame of Frenzy), and Vitality for Death (Those Who Live In Death). All of these are related to groups in the game who oppose the Greater Will and the intervention of their Vassal Fingers.
Overall, aside from lackluster Strike resistance, this seems to be a heavy-class helmet with higher Status Resistances. The item description speaks to these heightened resistances. It's essentially worn by those who would oppose the Greater Will, be it Blood or Poison builds.
Well... This does have the highest magic resist of all headgear. If you *really* hate mages then I guess the stonesword key is worth it.

Has anyone tried to wear this helm the first (and only if I remember correctly) time you can interact with the 2 fingers in that roundtable? - White

I’ve worn this the longest… mainly because I was tired of seeing the samurai helmet on my character and nothing better has come up since.

Quite literally a tinfoil hat. Keeps out an undetectable force, worn by a superstitious group of people, waste of a recoouse and useless.

What a waste of a stone sword! Now I'll only 7,001,274 left over when I finish the game!

I dunno, someone feel free to try wearing this thing before starting New Journey, and make sure to NEVER take it off in a full playthrough and see if anything weird happens. Iji's one makes reference to never removing his.. Well, I'm sure nothing will happen, but hey, worth a shot right? I'd do it, but I'm too addicted to making fresh characters. -Z

Has anyone figured out what the effect of this and the other mirror helm is yet? It doesn't seem like simple flavor text given the composition and the fact it is shared by 2 items just like the lifesteal on kill etc.

Alrighty! Got my helmet, got my godslayer/godskin stuff... Now how do I get to swing at those ugly hairy fingers now? They CAN die that's for sure, since there are two dead fingers on top of the Limgrave divine tower. C'mon fromsoft let me roast this mofos!!!

while using this on the final boss I seem to have become immune to holy damage in the second phase

So strange. It implies it might do something like protect from invasions or something, but it's vague. Needs a Stonesword Key to get, but somehow doesn't seem like a Key-worthy item at all.
- Anonymous
I noticed there is a red highlight on this helmet that is only visible in dark areas.
- Anonymous
Could this be used for a quest? Maybe with Blaidd, since he is the one person we see get actually controlled at the end of his quest?
- Anonymous
People are taking the flavour text a bit too literally. No, the helm doesn't "break" at some point -- it is a reference to it having sub-par 'strike' defense compared to the other absorption, and probably a joke seeing as the helmet is quite literally a tinfoil hat in concept. Conversely, it provides decent resistances (eg. Immunity, Robustness, Focus, etc), compared to other helms you would find at that level. Due to its weight, it's not a terrible early-game helmet, but it's not something you'd make builds around either.

Thought that it might let you bypass the need to kill multiple shard bearers before being allowed in the capital since Gideon tells you the two fingers forbid you from going there without enough runes, so I rushed there after Godrick, killed the draconic tree sentinel, but still wasn't able to get through despite wearing the helmet.
- Anonymous
anyone know if it breaks at some point? since the description says "Easily broken and weak against striking attacks".

I think Ranni might have worn this helm when taking part in the ritual to make the eponymous Black Knives used during the Night of the Black Knives. Since she still had an Empyrean body at the time, there might've been a risk of the Greater Will finding out what she'd done and warning the demigods beforehand. If she'd worn this, the Greater Will wouldn't have been aware of the ritual. Something to consider, perhaps.
- Anonymous
feels like it was supposed to have more significance for rannis quest, but maybe didn't make the cut.
either that or there's some minor detail that it affects. there's a village somewhere that has a large glowing eye, and when it stares at you, you take damage. I wonder if it negates that?
- Anonymous
It looks gorgeous, but if I can't participate in coop with it on, then that is just dumb. Can anyone confirm? I like the idea of gear interacting with the world, like glintstone crowns and the gesture, but not if it's restrictive.

So I’m only posting this because i don’t see it on here. This helmet prevents the wearer from summoning allies

It shares a similar description with Malenia needle. Since he can "Protect you from the greater Will and fingers." Maybe it work against 3 fingers, or when they brace you or when you set the world on fire. Need to try it out next new game
- Anonymous
idk why everyone complaining. you get to be kanye in elden ring
- Anonymous
judging by it’s description you have to assume that who ever wears it, is someone who actually is against the two fingers. Ranni and some other NPC talk faul of the Two Fingers and greater will. Each have their agenda and play when it comes to shattering of the elden ring. Iji is serving Ranni which would explain why he wears such helmet. Not tested in practice, but the theory would be, since we, tarnished, are supposed to work for greater will. That would mean who ever is invading works against it. This, perhaps if you are invading someone’s world with this helmet, it would prevent the host to ask for help.Perhaps it disables White Cypher Ring or something…

It glows red anywhere, i don't know what you're talking about. Doesn't seem breakable either and even tho it costs 1k runes, i'm starting to think this is just bad trolling. I really hope someone will figure it out.

Why couldn't I give this Hemet to Blaidd? Or can you somehow?

101/10 best helmet in the whole game. Now those darn people in the tree can't hear my thoughts.
- Anonymous
I just thought about something, even though it might be completely false. Some Ranni quest spoilers ahead :
Since it shares so much with Iji and Ranni's all quest, what if it guards you from being found out by betraying Ranni with Seluvis ? When you get the second potion and try to give it to Ranni you get found out. Perhaps wearing it (preferably ever since you talk with Seluvis to be sure) would allow something else to happen.
Can't try it in my run as I'm already passed it, but if someone want to take a shot he's a champion.
- Anonymous
i'm fairly sure the helmet does something somewhere, but too many random anon's feel the need to post shitty copypasta rather than actually look for it, guess we'll never figure it out.
watch it actually lead to a new pvp meta or something, then they'll care.

I don't understand the point of this helm at all. It seemed special, it was behind and imp lock.
Yet it's defense to weight ratios are abysmal and seems to offer nothing special.
