AnonymousIt's really annoying having to farm items in order to craft stuff, especially since some mateirals aren't readily available. It's a real downside of an otherwise cool and useful mechanic. Maybe everything should just be available to buy past a certain point in the game, and not just some things.

Honestly there should have been a respawning Lion Guardian. I don't mind a tougher enemy if it means 100% drop.
So these things drop from Lions and Boars but can anyone confirm if they drop from wolves, bears, and runebears?

Farm it outside Third Church of Marika in Limgrave. Pop a silver fowl foot and go out murdering boars, rinse and repeat. Drops pretty consistently.

Best place to farm theese seems to be castle Morne. Still very annoying to get in large quantities tho.

Old fang is used to craft a redmane fire pot, so 1 mushroom, 1 smoldering butterfly, 1 old fang. not sure if old fang is used to craft other things but I would imagine so

Watch, theres gonna be a respawning enemy in the DLC that has a 50% drop rate for these
