Omen Set is an Armor Set in Elden Ring. Worn by the Dung Eater, their form is a vision of the landscape of his mind, and his appearance as he wished to see it. Sets of Armor in Elden Ring are composed of four armor pieces which are Helms, Chest Armor, Gauntlets, and Leg Armor.
Where to find Omen Set in Elden Ring
- The Omen set can be found after killing the Dung Eater in the Subterranean Shunning-Grounds at the Leyndell Royal Capital.
- Killing the Dung Eater right after giving him Seluvis's Potion allows you to get both the Omen Set and the Dung Eater Puppet. However, should you leave the area or quit and reload, his body would disappear, preventing you from getting his armor set.
- Alternatively, after completing his quest line his armor will be found on his body after reloading the area. [Elden Ring Map here]

This set requires a cooperation most unjolly... won't catch me wearing this.
Can enemies nullify this armor with penicillin mist incantation?

I gave dung eater the potion and killed him. He is not in Selivus's puppet area. So now I have no potion to complete his quest and no puppet. Just the armor and questline is glitched. Not sure if that was the best advice.

I actually like the way this armor set looks. It fits my stinky bleed/poison build with powerstanced great stars

The armor set looks like my poop after eating tons of French burnt peanuts

The sun symbol on the chestpiece is almost like a macabre corruption of Solaire's symbol, used on one of the worst monster in any of the souls games.

does that helmet have eyehole or is it just a encrusted pot?

Am i the only one who thought this armor was supposed to look like crap with pieces of corn on it?

The pieces in the armor looks like my crap after I eat corn.

The perfect fashion for my character named "Dookiest Herba".

Omengus. Helm and leggings go well with altered Crucible Tree armor btw.
While normally this would be the most atrocious set for fashion souls and doesn't even mix well with other "intentionally ugly" armor pieces, I did find a decent use for it. Omensmirk mask, Omen chest and greaves, bull goat gauntlets, and the Star Fist actually works for fashion souls, plus with the bull goat talisman you'll be hitting 101 poise which is pretty sweet.

I compared the values to my current armor (beast champion) and found strike was off by a lot even though they should have the same value

For those that want this armor and the Dung Eater puppet, make sure you kill him immediately after giving him Seluvis' potion. Leaving or reloading the area after giving him the potion without killing him will make him permanently disappear, making it impossible to get the armor until NG+.

The first time I saw this armor, I thought: "Those plates have many teeth on them". Those white things look like molars to me.

Will I still be able to get this if I give him the potion before finishing his questline?
It would be great to have both his puppet and his ashes, we would be bros.

Good set in terms of weight and poise. I'm using it with my tanky faith character, and the poise that offer this set is very good, I can easily trade damage with a lot of enemies without getting staggered using this set along with the bull goat talisman.

For those curious on for ejy he is called dung eater:
Ppl called him this name as an way of insult but the man actually like it and took the name for himself

this mf tryna be cursed or something and wears armor with the highest immunity??? counter intuitive

Wish we could have use the sun emblem on the other armors too
It looks awesome and it has heavy physics and in the cartoony world of elden ring it's really difficult to find cosmetic items with good physics
Really would have loved to use that sun symbol on the scaled armor chest piece

Worth killing dungboy early just for the aesthtetic of using this set in the sewers, if you didn't for moral reasons
- Anonymous
from the descriptions it seems dung boy wanted to be an omen and made this armor resemble them
- Anonymous
Thought they were barnacles or teeth but they're actually severed horns which resemble Omens that live outside of the shunning grounds that had their horns cut off

kinda looks like a diving suit covered in barnacles, i'm gonna use it with the anchor for maximum style
Man to hell with this "reload the area"! I completed his quest, got the Mending Rune and have zero reasons to revisit him, why on earth doesnt he drop the armor alongside the rune? Same with Goldmask's Headpiece, this is just bad questdesign. Otherwise his story is cool, even though he seems like a sadistic psychopath.

When I first saw this set I thought the horns where barnacles and at some point after his death the dung eater was chucked into the ocean to be forgotten about I’m not sure which lore implication I prefer. 1 that he was an insane madman haunted by an outer god blood borne style. or 2 he was such a Disturbed sicko that after his death their where celebrations and his corpse was thrown to the waves

Judging by the Armor it’s name, description and what the game tells us about the omen aka the omen killers mask, regal omen Bairn, Mohg,Margot and the omen ogre enemies. Omens are a deformity of birth as seen by both morg and Morgot who are neither orgre or have any evidence of inheritance. They are covered in horns that are cut off and periodically trimmed (or don’t ever grow back) they also seem to be affected by a type of mental illness and or are used as vessels/avatars of an outer god (as evidenced by the omen killer mask and Mohgs clear insanity) as such they are locked away below the capital (the shunning grounds) or are used as shock troopers (omen cleaver) if they escape they are hunted down and killed by omen killers. Taking all of this into account and reading the omen armour flavour text “Worn by the Dung Eater, their form is a vision of the landscape of his mind, and of his appearance as he wished to see it The heart of an omen without the body to match; could there be any crueler existence” implies he is both haunted by a outer god in his dreams as other omens are and that despite using Armor with broken horns he doesn’t share the same deformities but wishes he did as a sense of kinship with other omen.

kinda ironic, the sun icon that represented friendship and help in the dark souls series now belongs to him... which is all the opposite to that.
- Anonymous
When you complete his quest reload the area by save/quit, his armor will be at his body. How is such obvious stuff not here...?

This is probably out of left field, but this armor set just reminds me of Big Daddies from Bioshock.
