Container required for crafting perfume items
|
Perfume Bottle is a Key Item and Crafting Material in Elden Ring. Perfume Bottle is used to contain crafted perfume arts, consumables which can be used to apply different effects to allies and enemies. See also Cracked Pot and Ritual Pot.
Glass bottles used by perfumers. Used to seal various scent compounds.
Essential vessel for crafting perfume items.
The art of perfuming was once jealously guarded in the capital, but after the perfumers were drafted into service during the Shattering, the art became widely practiced throughout the Lands Between.

Elden Ring Perfume Bottle Use
Perfume Bottles can be used to store crafted perfume arts, which apply different effects to allies and enemies. After a perfume art is used, an empty bottle is returned to the player's inventory, allowing for another perfume art to be created after leaving combat.
Perfume Bottles can hold the following perfume arts:
- Spark Aromatic (Perfumer's Cookbook [1])
- Uplifting Aromatic (Perfumer's Cookbook [1])
- Bloodboil Aromatic (Perfumer's Cookbook [2])
- Ironjar Aromatic (Perfumer's Cookbook [3])
- Poison Spraymist (Perfumer's Cookbook [2])
- Acid Spraymist (Perfumer's Cookbook [4])
Elden Ring Perfume Bottle Notes & Tips
- You can hold up to 10 Perfume Bottles.
- Perfume Bottles already obtained do not respawn in NG+.
- If perfume arts are put into storage at a Site of Grace, their Perfume Bottles will be available for crafting new items. If you have perfume arts in storage, your Perfume Bottles will automatically refill when you die or rest at a Site of Grace.
- You can use the Perfumer's Talisman to increase the potency of perfume arts.

Oil pot+spark aromatic+perfume talisman=actually pretty decent damage

In mountain top of giants, hundreds of hours in. JUST found out the bottles don't "break" but are reusable... God damn I did that same thing in Dark Souls 2 (completely blind, offline mode only due to the how I got the game :o , knowing nothing of Dark souls) my first DS game, didn't use Heal for a while because I thought **** I only get 2?? when will I find more.. oh and played the first couple bosses not knowimg how to lock on hahaha
- Anonymous
From, why are the uses and materials so limited??
Said the first guy who'd complain about invaders who use uplifting like 17 times in a single invasion

The Perfume Bottles don't go away when you craft an item. Collecting them is like finding a Memory Stone or using Gold Seeds Think of them as containers that you are just using to combine ingredients. Same goes for Cracked and Ritual Pots. You permanently have one more slot. Once you find a bottle, you have it forever, and all it dictates is how many crafted pots you can hold at one time.
- Anonymous
Just in case anyone was confused like I was, the 9 perfumer bottles you can find are reusable, the only things you need more of are the individual crafting supplies that make the potions.

I can't count how many times I've cleared Lyndell and missed the one behind the table. Love this wiki so much.

It just sucks that Arteria Leaves are only farm-able so close to end game. A perfumer build would probably be a lot of fun but it's really off putting hat the 2 best perfumes limited to 37 uses before mountaintop. Like I know that's more than enough if you rush the main bosses but I always try to leave them for last. Hopefully they add an Arteria Leaf farm in a DLC that can be accessed a little earlier.

Fun fact: just keeping a perfumer item (i.e uplifting aromatic, bloodboil aromatic ect) in your active tools will allow your mimic tear to use as many as you have everytime you summon it, effectively negating the need to craft uplifting aromatics in particular, just another reason why mimic tear is one of the best spirit summons in the game i guess

If there isn’t one that heals you in the dlc I’m probably not ever using these

I really like these bottles. They're very useful and I hope From expands more on them in the new DLC coming in 2023.

This and the cracked pots = the things you need to become a Witcher.

FromSoftware: Free aura buff that works like Opaline Bubbleteat and boosts attack power... For you and your allies... That includes summons
Players: Arteria Leaf worthless tho.. Why you keep giving it to me?
- Anonymous
Fromsoftware: "Okay players, you've reached midgame, now we want you to start using these perfume items."
The players, almost unanimously: "No, I refuse."

I missed the Leyndell chest one, even got the seedbed curse lol. Oh well, NG+ was here to save the day.

Dating must be hard in the lands between. Imagine going out for dinner and exploding because your store mislabeled the wrong perfume

These should have all scaled with Arcane. I'm not sure what the logic is behind dexterity making your alchemical mixes stronger. At least with fire pots youre throwing the pot harder. Perfumes are carried 100% by the chemistry
- Anonymous
For anyone as dumb as me, the one in lyndell is up the ladder in the room near the bottom of the first lift with the perfumer and is hidden behind a table

Uplifting Aromatic is great, but people undervalue the others. Spark Aromatic scales based on your DEX; with 50 DEX and the Perfumer's Talisman, I can deal around 900 damage with it, making it fantastic for my no-magic build. Bloodboil Aromatic gives a strong boost to my attacks, but I have 6 Perfume Bottles and usually go around with 4 Spark (the materials are really easy to farm) and 2 Uplifting to save for bosses.

There's only one perfume bottle at the Perfumer's Ruins, the one in the chest in the secret basement is a talisman.
- Anonymous
There is only on in the perfurmer's Ruins. In the basement below the big plant is the perfumer talisman in the chest instead of a perfumer bottle.

Those perfumes overall is not useful currently. Offensive perfumes just deal little damage, buff perfumes are kinda good but always have cons. The worst of all is limit and cost FP, perfume ingredients also not abundant enough. So far Uplifting perfume is the only good one.

the dlcs really need to flesh these out. massive potential to add fun buffs for non-magic builds.

Yes the ones in leyndell are missable, make sure you grab the two inside the city while you're in town. Unrelated but make sure you check the big spear when you can jump on it, there's also an achievement item up there

Are these missable once Leyndell turns to ash? Stuck at 9/10...

Are these missable if Leyndell turns to ash? I missed the one at the pond there and am stuck at 9/10.

I think the pot/perfumer reusable thing is such a brilliant addon. This allows them to make a catagory of significantly more powerful consumables without having to worry about someone stacking up 99 of them in a PvP battle. A truly genius solution that makes consumable only/dependent builds 100% better. From is genius

I only got one bottle from Perfumer's Ruins. The chest in the basement is a perfumer talisman.

So oddly enough I don’t remember where but I found 3 in one spot somewhere around perfumer PVE

There is only one at volcano manor. The other nine listed are correct. The tenth one is at a small camp just north of atlus highway junction.

You have the one at volcano manor listed twice but all the rest are correct. I can confirm that the one not listed is at a small camp north of atlus highway junction.

There is no perfume bottle in Street of Sages Ruins. The wiki is incorrect. There are exactly 10 perfume bottles; it's the maximum that you can hold in your inventory.
I kept track of where I found mine during my playthrough:
1. Buy from Hermit Merchant, Ainsel River
2. Buy from Hermit Merchant, Altus Plateau
3. Altus Plateau, at camp N of Altus Highway Junction
4. Leyndell 1, chest
5. Leyndell 2, by Leonine Misbegotten
6. Perfumer's Grotto
7. Perfumer's Ruins 1
8. Perfumer's Ruins 2
9. The Shaded Castle
10. Volcano Manor, after using Drawing-Room Key
The wiki is missing numbers 1 and 3.

North of the Altus Highway Junction. Just west of the golden seed. There is a small camp with 3 foes. The bottom 2 are guarding a corpse with a bottle

They work exactly like ritual pots/cracked pots, but are used to craft these interesting alchemy-style battle consumables. Generally the effects use FP and are pretty strong. I personally am a big fan of Spark Aromatic, which is a pretty good detterrant to enemies that try to run at you really fast while you're trying to prepare a spell (i.e. almost everything really)
- Anonymous
Too many of these are acquired wayyyy too late in the game. I guess you could rush them, but that's kindof lame. It would be nice to have 2 or 3 early with a cookbook so you could really utilize them as part of your build.
- Anonymous
I think they originally meant the perfume items to be a bigger mechanic in the game. In the early gameplay releases, the perfume arts had a separate tab in the weapons and crafting menus.
- Anonymous
You mistakenly put Volcano Manor twice, that is incorrect there is only one there. The missing one is from the Demi-Human Camp somewhere south of the Second Church of Marika. You're also missing the one from the Perfumer's Grotto chest(a seperate location close to the Outer Wall Phantom Tree.

Perfume bottles are consumables and aren't restored when you rest
- Anonymous
Final one, going down the main road from dectus lift, when you reach the fork go left, when you reach the golden seed tree, there should a camp with ogres nearby, theres 2 sitting by a campfire, the perfume bottle is behind them. you can sneak up and grab it if you dont want to fight them

Are perfume bottles and ritual pots reusable, or like the cracked pots?

Perfumes are great for your mimic ash!! Always leave one in your equipment

Find one in a dungeon called Perfumer's Grotto, the dungeon is to the direct east of Atlas Junction grace and is in that small valley, behind a giant poison flower.
The chest holding the bottle is in a small hidden area behind a pile of rocks, you can either jump down to it from a higher platform or jump over the pile from the same platform
Exact location of the dungeon: https://imgur.com/HXrZsyv
However I am still at 9/10 and I am pretty sure I've covered all mentioned here, so any clue about the final one would make me very grateful.

Does anyone know exactly how these work?
There are several perfume related items and quite a bit of lore around them.
Would be interesting to do an alchemist build type of character.
Does anyone know how these bottle work and how you mix them?

I have 9/10... idk where is can be the last one. seems like i missed one idk where

2 at perfumers ruins west of lux ruins, as well as a talismen to boost perfumes.

found one north west of altus plateau site of grace in a camp with three omens

there are two bottles to collect at the "perfumer's ruins" on the southwest edge of the altus plateau. from the top of the dectus lift go immediately left to the "altus plateau" grace site, farther north that same direction are the "lux ruins" and "erdtree-gazing hill" grace site. once you're here, go the opposite direction of the erdtree (or the site's light trail) to find a path that slopes down leading towards spiky rocks in the distance on the cliff's edge, if you keep following the path a dragon will swoop in pre-aggroed about midway down so i suggest going slightly to the right of the path in the trees and staying near the broken caravans. follow it down until it turns right towards a watery area with plant enemies, stay to the left of that and follow the spiky rock pillars back to the "corner" where the cliff edge meets the tall rock wall that extends out from behind the water area, that's where the ruins are. there is one bottle in the front area near a chest that contains perfumer's cookbook [1] which teaches you the two perfumes the enemies here use (spark aromatic, uplifting aromatic), the second bottle is in the back section under the large flower enemy in the ruin's basement cache. there is also a stronger enemy inside who drops "omenkiller" armor pieces (body, gloves, and trousers), and to the left of the ruins from the front there is a slope down to a stone key door for the "unsightly catacombs" which reward you with the ashes of "perfumer tricia" upon completion! idk if i missed anything but this was all i found, hope it helps :)

there’s another bottle at the “perfumer’s ruins” on the southwest edge of the altus plateau!
after taking the dectus lift up i went immediately left to the “altus plateau” grace site and continued past it to find the “erdtree-gazing hill” grace site right next to the “lux ruins”. following the path farther back leads to a slope going down towards tall spiky rocks near the cliffside but be careful, near the midway of this slope as it begins to open up a dragon will swoop down and aggro on you, continue on the path past all the rundown caravans and stay left when you see the lake with flower enemies, at the final stone spike where the cliff edge meets the tall stone wall that borders the back of the lake area is where it’s at.
i believe the perfume bottle was alone on the ground near the center and right nearby it in a chest is perfumer’s cookbook [1] which teaches the two perfume recipes that the perfumer enemies here cast, there also was a tougher enemy who dropped his armor set (omenkiller robes, gloves, and trousers) near the bottle, and finally if you go to the left of the area there is sloped path leading to a stone key door for the “unsightly catacombs” which give you the ashes of “perfumer tricia” for completing them!
sorry for long comment but there was a lot here and i wanna make sure everyone could find it, good luck :)

One can be found in the Shaded Castle on the edge of a tower near the poisonous courtyard with the ghostly horse riders
