Am I the only one who, in two playthroughs totalling 250 hours, only used perfumes once? I can't think of a single instance where perfumes would have made things easier, except dabbing it under my pits of course.

As an avid Perfume art fan I'm a bit sad that this doesn't increase the potency of each Aromatic in their own respective ways, such as boosting the duration of others or making Uplifting re-buff over and over, much like how the Capital Perfumers do when they use it.

At least there are tons of different pot types that do damage, this boots exactly ONE item while taking up a talisman slot

          • Anonymous

Right now this talisman is a waste of slots, you only got one offensive perfume art against a myriad of offensive pot recipes, hope in future DLCs we get more offensive perfume arts to make this worthwhile.
Meanwhile you're better off using perfumes as buffs (ironjar, bloodboil or uplifting), as a quick defuff (acid spraymist is actually good in groups) and using the pots as the ranged offensive options (they also have not only a talisman but a helm that boost the damage).

Improves Perfumer Bolt damage too. According to Japanese Wiki, this does not stack with Arrow's Sting Talisman, if you use both, Arrow's Sting Talisman will override Perfumer's Talisman, resulting in lower damage (10% vs 17% increase)

I did 594 damage to one of those Omen dudes in the sewers without the talisman which went up to 713 with the talisman. The damage increase is just a little shy of 17%

They totaly meant it to increase the duration of buffs/debuffs but it got buged and they won't ever even find out because nobody cares.
everyone think it's purposely for just and only the spark perfume and nothing else.

Doesn't seem to work with the Poison Spraymist Perfume. Dealt 21 damage with and without the Talisman to the Great shield Guard near Gatefront.

Does it just buff the one Spark perfume? or does increase the poison ones build up? either way kinda meh ...

Too bad they made the dumb decision to make some consumables use FP thus making them mostly useless for builds that need that for, you know, making the build work.

                        • This doesn't seem to boost up the Attack Power of the Uplifting Aromatic. Without any buffs, my Attack Power is 526, and the damage I deal to a specific enemy is 614. With the Uplifting Aromatic, my Attack Power is 579, and the damage I deal to the enemy is 675. Finally, with the Uplifting Aromatic and the Perfumer's Talisman, my Attack Power is 579, and the damage I deal to the enemy is 675.

So this definitely increases the damage of the spark aromatic, but has anyone tested if it works with the other aromatics? Like, increasing the buffs for the bloodboil and uplifting aromatics?
