This thing is uglier than the Dung Eater’s helmet and that’s really saying something

Pair this with bloodsoaked hand wraps, battlemage leg wraps, omen cloak from morgott, now you're crippled griffith!

Griffith's iron mask was made to resemble the helmet he wore, which itself was made to resemble a falcon. The Prisoner's Iron Mask does NOT resemble a falcon. Like, at all.

Kinda dumb that this mask can be taken off so easily, considering its actual purpose. But then, I can also wear an octopus on my head, so...

Would’ve been cool if based on the helm description it gave your spirit summons a slight damage boost

actually not trying to be dismissive or a contrarian because obviously there’s an infinite amount of berserk references in these games but it is an incredible reach to say this looks like griffiths helm for any reason beyond that it’s shape is rounded. eye and mouth holes share absolutely zero resemblance at all

"Oh Griffith, I'm so glad you're still alive I hope nothing bad happens now"

The anti-berserk comments are seething so hard lol. There is literally another iron mask in the game that is supposed to be a closer reference to the historical appearance of "The Man in the Iron Mask" than this one. That is the one that Boggart wears. The design and description of this item are as close to a Griffith reference you can get without the description just outright saying "MIYAZAKI LIKES BERSERK, THIS IS A BERSERK REFERENCE".
