actually not trying to be dismissive or a contrarian because obviously there’s an infinite amount of berserk references in these games but it is an incredible reach to say this looks like griffiths helm for any reason beyond that it’s shape is rounded. eye and mouth holes share absolutely zero resemblance at all

The anti-berserk comments are seething so hard lol. There is literally another iron mask in the game that is supposed to be a closer reference to the historical appearance of "The Man in the Iron Mask" than this one. That is the one that Boggart wears. The design and description of this item are as close to a Griffith reference you can get without the description just outright saying "MIYAZAKI LIKES BERSERK, THIS IS A BERSERK REFERENCE".
