FP Cost | 20 |
Radiant Baldachin's Blessing is a Consumable Item in Elden Ring. Most Consumables grant various effects such as restorative properties for recovering HP, removing certain negative status effects or applying temporary buffs and debuffs, while others can be thrown at enemies to deal damage.
Protection of a hidden temple in the guise of a bedchamber. This blessing is of the utmost rarity.
Uses FP to temporarily raise poise.
The effect lasts longer than a mere favor.
It's said a deathbed companion will only produce a blessing of this kind for a champion but once in her entire life. The sole blessing which she imbues of her own volition.
Radiant Baldachin's Blessing Use in Elden Ring:
Radiant Baldachin's Blessing has the following effects:
- Costs 20 FP to use
- When used, grants +35% physical damage negation and +45% poise for 70 seconds
- Also prevents stagger from attacks with damage level 0/1/2/3/5/8/11 for 70 seconds
This is a Body Buff and will not stack with other buffs of the same type.
- See Buffs and Debuffs for more information on stacking buffs.
Where to find Radiant Baldachin's Blessing in Elden Ring
- Received from Fia after giving her the Cursemark of Death in Deeproot Depths after defeating Fia's Champions.
Radiant Baldachin's Blessing use in Elden Ring
Radiant Baldachin's Blessing uses FP to temporarily raise physical absorption (35% without any armor applied). Note that it is a one-time use consumable.
Elden Ring Radiant Baldachin's Blessing Notes & Tips
- Only one can be obtained per each playthrough.
- It is a one-time-consumable item like the Baldachin's Blessing.
- Unlike Baldachin's Blessing, It does not reduce Max HP from holding it in the inventory, so the player can safely keep it.
- You can store Radiant Baldachin's Blessing.
- Does carry over into NG+.

It’s even right next to a bunch of other reusable in the menu. smh my dam hed
- Anonymous
This should've been a version of the Baldachins Blessing that regained its charge after resting at a site of grace.
- Anonymous
Does the mimic tear use this if its equipped? Would be very nice and I've read some people saying it does use it, but to me it doesn't appear to be true bc I never see the consuming animation and buff effect in any fight, and you definitely see all that with other stuff it uses, like ironjar aromatic. So can anybody pls confirm if mimic tear uses it or not?
- Anonymous
I'm pretty sure this carries over to NG+ I am in my 2nd playthrough and I haven't reached the Deepeoot Depths and it's in my inventory
This item is WAY too good to be wasted... which a certain degenerate that licks strange beastmen just did.
- Anonymous
"Too good to use" consumables are the bane of my existence.
- Anonymous
Would have rather the effect be weakened and it given a single reusable charge per grace. Considering it's the final prize of a long quest. It's like they don't actually want the item to be used ever.
- Anonymous
While this is incredibly strong the sheer rarity of this thing is what keeps it from ever being used. The only way I could see this being in anyone's arsenal is if they duplicated a whole inventory if it, which I couldn't blame them for.
- Anonymous
Will I get banned for giving myself this time x99 with Grand Merchant? Want to test this on bosses
- Anonymous
bru i accidentally killed fia and now i cant fight lich dragon
- Anonymous
The fact that this item only can get once per game, it supposes to reusable when died for rest at site of grace, this doesn't make any sense
- Anonymous
Use grand merchant mod and dupe them, amazing to destroy everyone in duels!
- Anonymous
Anyone tried equipping this and summoning mimic? Curious if they'll use it .
- Anonymous
This should work like a physic flask, one use each live/use of Grace but to prevent It from ruining pvp, make It so you can only use It on pve
- Anonymous
Bruh why the hell did I think this was reusable? I wasted mine testing spells on Albinaurics lmao
- Anonymous
You can only use one of these per play through. I used it a mule with 999 and the rest disappeared from my box. This is pretty good cause it would be really overpowered in PVP.
- Anonymous
Since this item cannot be dropped, you can't acquire 601 of them on your first playthrough (which is pretty smart on From's part, given how strong the buff is). If you waste it (or want to use it multiple times for online play), you can get it back by save-scumming. There isn't a health debuff on this version, so there's no penalty for saving it for the right moment.
- Anonymous
Why couldn’t this have been a death sorcery with the same effect as baldachins blessing, would make it reusable and give death sorceries another spell to their small roster.
Invaders are now smurfing to RL20-50 profiles with stacks of duped Radiant Baldachin’s Blessings, Uplifting Aromatics and every buff imaginable.
- Anonymous
To the comment below, if you’re certain it was a white aura then it wasn’t this it was just normal baldachin blessing. Radiant baldachin blessing is reddish or a maroon like aura. You can get the baldachin blessing as many times as you want from fia until she leaves the round table hold. So the invader wasn’t exploiting.
- Anonymous
sadly , now some invader already use this item with somehow exploit save file ?
Idk how to describe , but I already encounted the same invader using this item everytime he invade me (he invade me 4-5 times)
I don't think I misunderstand , the aura of this item look like white fog around user (same as aow "Endure") but the duration is very long compare to "Endure"
- Anonymous
For a tank build this pretty much means one free main boss of your choosing
- Anonymous
I understand why this is a one-time use. I keep it because Fia best girl. Imagine how ruined PvP would be if everyone had this item?
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
ffs this is barely more useful than a resin and its literally one per playthrough? Why can't we have nice things?
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
Should have been a reusable item that temporarily reduced your hp for the poise or if that would have been too good it could have costed hp instead of fp to use like mimic tear.
- Anonymous
If this was identical to a regular Blessing sans debuff, and "refilled" with a rest, it would be an S tier item. As is, I'd rather she give us a Golden Rune [1].
- Anonymous
What a shining piece of junk of utmost rarity, even shinier than a gold-tinged excrement, only a bit less valuable than those shiny dungs. If i could give this to the Dung Eater, i would.
- Anonymous
“The effect lasts longer than a mere favor.”
it IS permanent and does still debuff health, until you use baldachin’s blessing to remove it.
it’s fia’s last most potent gift for you, she cant give anymore hugs/cooties, so it makes sense that this is a single-use permanent item.
- Anonymous
i used this and got a permanent health debuff. it didnt go away until i used baldachin’s blessing (the regular one), which disappeared from my inventory after use.
I got this then instantly used it to check the buff power, after it was gone I was oh well it gone forever, if I kept it then it would be one of the extra rare junk in my item list thay I would never use
This item is very strange. It doesn't even makes sense. If the idea was to have only one per playthrough, why not make it last until you die, like a Rune Arc? Ok, the devs wanted it to be a timed buff? Ok, this could be a special physick tear that took both slots. 3 mins buff seems too much? Well, let it be a unique use, like the physick flask, that restores at each "rest".
It's not even that I will stock them through playthroughs, I will literally forget that this exist. Just imagine using this and getting one shotted because you got stuck on bad terrain geometry...
- Anonymous
How long until all pc players spawn this with cheat engine or duping (like they did in DS3 with the siegbraus, divine blessings and the super weeds)? This is a MAJOR duel breaking buff.
- Anonymous
Im tempted to just roll back my save to incorporate this in a build.
- Anonymous
These should be like starlight shards. Rare, non respawning, but about 20 per playthrough.
- Anonymous
They should make this reusable. I don't want to accidentally use up the item that puts me in the Fia's champions pool. (I'm trying to see if I can fight myself in other people's worlds) Though, if it turns out I don't need this, or I need another items as well...
- Anonymous
id love to se this get a BIG patch, raise the FP cost, make it respawn on rest and shorten the buff duration
as is right now its basically useless... takes too much effort to get... and can only be used ONCE per playthrough near the end of the game as it cant be obtained 'early' in much fashion
- Anonymous
so i dont know if having this or not, but my first playthrough i was beiing a complishinist and collecting everything even other ending stuff though was gonna do frenzy first (screw the parkour) but when i was fighting Radagon something kept popping in his final phase that at least to me i think was this, cause i got a bunch of res and poise yet had not used my physick yet nor any other spells besides erdtree blessing at the start. was also wearing Black knife chest, blaids gloves and scaled leggings but doubt that matters as much.

"Also prevents stagger from attacks with damage level 0, 1, and 8 for 70 seconds"
Thanks author, super clear and inferrable information. Truly a master of communicatrion.x
- Anonymous
Is this like the Ceramic Coin from DS? Because I can't see any worthwhile need for this.
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
What's the point here? Like this make perfect sense as a reusable, once per rest. But having it being a one time use, of which you can only get 1 per playthrough mean nobody would use it, Ever!
- Anonymous
By obtaining this item, it should be freely reusable. I don't know, it reduces the duration or the effect, but what's the point of an item you can only use once and have to do a full quest to get it again? (in an ng+)
A Consumable 1-Time Use Item, with a 70 seconds Effect, that you can only Obtain ONCE every Playthrough.
I will never understand why stuff like this exist..... In reality is just a little Medal with some Lore you keep in your Inventory just because.

I'm planning to spawn 600 of these through cheats, is there any way from's can track this and ban me?
- Anonymous
I have a feeling this was meant to be the re-usable consumable version of Baldachin's Blessing.
- Anonymous
Maybe make this a semi-permanent consumable like the Physick? You can still only use one per engagement that way, but you don't lose it permanently as soon as you use it. Balancing it could be an issue, but meh.

So dumb, that’s absurd for me to say too because I love everything FromS does
- Anonymous
What a wise decision to add such a powerful item as a single-use consumable. I'm sure all the cheating/duping lardlords will love this one...
- Anonymous
Equip it to your inventory slot and your mimic will use it unlimited times.
- Anonymous
This item should have been a 'once per Grace rest' consumable like the Physick.
That would have stopped it from being spammed in co-op/PvP and felt like a much better reward.
- Anonymous
brb, just playing through the game 600 times so i can use this in every invasion
- Anonymous
I'm on NG+#599 so that max stack limit is sure coming in handy
- Anonymous
The thing about this one-time-use blessing is that it's actually something you're supposed to use while fighting Fortissax as, unlike other fight against dragon, you can't use Torrent on that one. With that said, most people who reaches this part usually already have the gears and levels (stats) to kick that Lichdragon's butt so it's more of a trophy item than anything else.
- Anonymous
And I use it then rest at the site of grace right there smh
- Anonymous
I think From just gave us this as a momento from fia, an item with a special description for us to read and get little feels from. It would be cool though if it actually were reusable somehow, and would make a fine reward for completing fias questline.
- Anonymous
I take a radiant blessing is bestowed when the Companion is willing to do it, and the normal blessings imply the deathbed companions are forced to do what they do. Also explains Fia being cast out for waking up
- Anonymous
The grand problem with this item is that it is, for player practicality, totally useless from a pure player perspective without scouring through guides.
The average player will either consume it out of curiosity to see what it does and not put much past that thought - or use it against a really hard boss and lose in the extended battle, never to get the buff again in that playthrough and ultimately forcing them to proceed without *actually* benefitting from the item. The entire jist is that it's a really strong baldachin's blessing without a debuff. That doesn't really make for a "once in a lifetime" item though, for a tarnished who can pop a rune arc whenever things get tough after learning a boss's attack patterns and demolish them. This is totally irrelevant in PVP beyond novelty since it's once per playthrough unless you're using cheat engine, so I won't even be mentioning that.
- Anonymous
I wonder if possessing this item allows your character to show up as one of Fia's Champions during that fight. Because the nameless NPC's are definitely too coordinated to be random.
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
why can we store 600 if you can only get 1 per game and its lost when starting NG+?
- Anonymous
Pretty stupid to put such an op item in the game that can only be used once, unless you're a cheater. Then you can re-use this item each duel pretty much.
Hope they remove this item from the game or make it a physick tear or something.
- Anonymous
Should have been a wonderous physick buff with a short duration tbh
- Anonymous
Gives 35% phsyical damage negation by itself in both pve and pvp, in addition it give you an 80% multiplicative poise boost, lasts for 70 seconds. Spawn it in with cheat engine and enjoy being able to outpoise literally everything.
- Anonymous
Really great effect, but obtainable only once per playthrough... And single use. And hanging onto it means your max health will have a small debuff until you use it
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
Changed in Patch 1.03.1 from granting weak hyperarmor (allowing naked casts to be uninterrupted by hits) to 80% poise buff, 35% damage reduction remained untouched.
- Anonymous
Most people don't realize that this item is a 2.5x defense buff for most characters and the strongest item in game for survival. If reusable game is literally easy mode.

"Note that it is a one-time use consumable." Understandable, I won't ever use it but instead keep it as a memento of Fia.
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
just keep it in ur inventory and u get small damage / armor buff use the old blessing she gave u from early game becos it give same buff but with small max hp debuff
- Anonymous
I read somewhere that the normal baldachin though it decreases your HP, it gives you a small damage buff as well while it’s in your inventory. So maybe this one gives you that small damage buff without the HP penalty?
- Anonymous
i really assumed this’d be reusable for a “once in a lifetime” blessing
- Anonymous
forbidden pvp technique
pop this and use literally any spell thats hard to hit because of it’s windup
inescapable chaos is particularly funny
welcome back to the good ol’ days of poise casting
- Anonymous
It seems I have a debuff on my flask of sacred tears. The symbol is an arrow pointing down on a flask.
I believe the debuff came from receiving this? Nothing on Google says anything about flask of sacred tears debuff. My flask seems to heal around half now
- Anonymous
i wish this was a permanent version of the rune. ah well, at least its stackable, so with some questionable acts you can have as many as you please :D
I guess she gave this so you can use it in Lichdragon Fortissax fight or smth
- Anonymous
Someone should try to use this item in Fias bed chambers, the item description might be literal. There has to be a secret with this item! I will try this out In NG+
- Anonymous
After getting this blessing, all NPCs (including Torrent) began displaying a golden aura like the one you get with Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot.
- Anonymous
One time use confirmed. What a letdown, at least the Rune of Death given by her could be used for alt ending. Smh
- Anonymous
they really dropped the ball by not making this a reusable item like the physick... or just, yaknow, a tear for the physick.
- Anonymous
So is there some sort of secret use for this? I can't imagine the reward for doing multiple quest lines so in depth is just a mediocre 1 time use buff. Im saving but I'm also afraid to progress more until I'm certain it has no real use.
- Anonymous
I got it from fia after finding her in the deep root basin or whatever it is, I got this after doing a boss fight and asking her to still hold me. Also needed the half wound centipede rune I got from rannis quest line
- Anonymous
You get it from giving her the deathmark (after her boss fight)
- Anonymous
- Anonymous
It's still in my inventory but doesn't remove the 5% hp?
strange
I just read that it doesn't reduce your max HP and you only get one per playthrough, after wasting it as soon as i got it in my NG+ run to get rid of the HP malus (i also used the one I got in ng)
