FP Cost 20

Radiant Baldachin's Blessing is a Consumable Item in Elden Ring. Most Consumables grant various effects such as restorative properties for recovering HP, removing certain negative status effects or applying temporary buffs and debuffs, while others can be thrown at enemies to deal damage.

Protection of a hidden temple in the guise of a bedchamber. This blessing is of the utmost rarity.

Uses FP to temporarily raise poise.
The effect lasts longer than a mere favor.

It's said a deathbed companion will only produce a blessing of this kind for a champion but once in her entire life. The sole blessing which she imbues of her own volition.

Radiant Baldachin's Blessing Use in Elden Ring:

  • Also prevents stagger from attacks with damage level 0/1/2/3/5/8/11 for 70 seconds

This is a Body Buff and will not stack with other buffs of the same type.

I was in brinks of defeat with no teammate, maybe i was unlucky or the host disabled the taunter tongue, it doesn't matter tho, 2 sunbro is a gank after all, i've nothing left but this and my raw meat dumpling. With mommy's hug, warm and unflinching, just as her love, i was able to black flame tornado the gankers and took 1 of them down, but in the end, point down is all i deserve, i failed you mom.

I think giving this infinite uses with recharging rests is too OP but at least make it a reoccurring buff if we somehow take the time to recharge its single use by going somewhere in the map

        • Anonymous

It’s really good… but you’ll never ever use it.

Or, you’ll actually find a time you’re having so much trouble that you’ll think to use it out of desperation… and still die thus wasting the only one you’ll ever have. (Unless you’re one of the few people who go deep into new game pluses, and you plan to do Fia’s quest each time)

          • Anonymous

I feel like this item should be a reusable item, with the factor that it could either consume half of your FP and can’t be used again until the blessings buff ends. The fact it’s a Single use item you can only get 1 of in a playthrough makes it a problem of “Too damn valuable to ever use realistically.”
Hell if it was infinite use it could be a version that simply has less duration.

            • I've surprisingly never seen anyone use this in online play, despite the fact it is basically an upgrade over Boiled Crab and even Black Flame's Protection and would be incredibly easy to give yourself an infinite amount of with mods or from simply reverting your save file after every online interaction so you can keep using it over and over. But I guess that would be too smart for the average Starlight Shard user.

              • Anonymous

Considering you only get one per playthrough (assuming you complete the questline required to even get it, which can be rough without looking online), and you're playing a game where you are going to die several times per any given boss fight you will likely either a.) never use it or b.) use it and end up wasting it because you died anyway. I've died in all the fights I've used it, now it just sits in my inventory when I get it. More of a gag item From put in the game to screw with us imo

                • Anonymous

I just read that it doesn't reduce your max HP and you only get one per playthrough, after wasting it as soon as i got it in my NG+ run to get rid of the HP malus (i also used the one I got in ng)

                  • Anonymous

This should've been a version of the Baldachins Blessing that regained its charge after resting at a site of grace.

                    • Anonymous

Does the mimic tear use this if its equipped? Would be very nice and I've read some people saying it does use it, but to me it doesn't appear to be true bc I never see the consuming animation and buff effect in any fight, and you definitely see all that with other stuff it uses, like ironjar aromatic. So can anybody pls confirm if mimic tear uses it or not?

                      • Anonymous

I'm pretty sure this carries over to NG+ I am in my 2nd playthrough and I haven't reached the Deepeoot Depths and it's in my inventory

                        • Anonymous

Would have rather the effect be weakened and it given a single reusable charge per grace. Considering it's the final prize of a long quest. It's like they don't actually want the item to be used ever.

                          • Anonymous

While this is incredibly strong the sheer rarity of this thing is what keeps it from ever being used. The only way I could see this being in anyone's arsenal is if they duplicated a whole inventory if it, which I couldn't blame them for.

                            • Anonymous

The fact that this item only can get once per game, it supposes to reusable when died for rest at site of grace, this doesn't make any sense

                              • Anonymous

This should work like a physic flask, one use each live/use of Grace but to prevent It from ruining pvp, make It so you can only use It on pve

                                • Anonymous

You can only use one of these per play through. I used it a mule with 999 and the rest disappeared from my box. This is pretty good cause it would be really overpowered in PVP.

                                  • Anonymous

Since this item cannot be dropped, you can't acquire 601 of them on your first playthrough (which is pretty smart on From's part, given how strong the buff is). If you waste it (or want to use it multiple times for online play), you can get it back by save-scumming. There isn't a health debuff on this version, so there's no penalty for saving it for the right moment.

Why couldn’t this have been a death sorcery with the same effect as baldachins blessing, would make it reusable and give death sorceries another spell to their small roster.

                                      • Anonymous

To the comment below, if you’re certain it was a white aura then it wasn’t this it was just normal baldachin blessing. Radiant baldachin blessing is reddish or a maroon like aura. You can get the baldachin blessing as many times as you want from fia until she leaves the round table hold. So the invader wasn’t exploiting.

sadly , now some invader already use this item with somehow exploit save file ?
Idk how to describe , but I already encounted the same invader using this item everytime he invade me (he invade me 4-5 times)
I don't think I misunderstand , the aura of this item look like white fog around user (same as aow "Endure") but the duration is very long compare to "Endure"

I understand why this is a one-time use. I keep it because Fia best girl. Imagine how ruined PvP would be if everyone had this item?

                                            • Anonymous

ffs this is barely more useful than a resin and its literally one per playthrough? Why can't we have nice things?

                                              • Anonymous

Should have been a reusable item that temporarily reduced your hp for the poise or if that would have been too good it could have costed hp instead of fp to use like mimic tear.

                                                • Anonymous

If this was identical to a regular Blessing sans debuff, and "refilled" with a rest, it would be an S tier item. As is, I'd rather she give us a Golden Rune [1].

                                                  • Anonymous

What a shining piece of junk of utmost rarity, even shinier than a gold-tinged excrement, only a bit less valuable than those shiny dungs. If i could give this to the Dung Eater, i would.

                                                    • Anonymous

“The effect lasts longer than a mere favor.”

it IS permanent and does still debuff health, until you use baldachin’s blessing to remove it.

it’s fia’s last most potent gift for you, she cant give anymore hugs/cooties, so it makes sense that this is a single-use permanent item.

                                                      • Anonymous

i used this and got a permanent health debuff. it didnt go away until i used baldachin’s blessing (the regular one), which disappeared from my inventory after use.

                                                        • I got this then instantly used it to check the buff power, after it was gone I was oh well it gone forever, if I kept it then it would be one of the extra rare junk in my item list thay I would never use

                                                          • This item is very strange. It doesn't even makes sense. If the idea was to have only one per playthrough, why not make it last until you die, like a Rune Arc? Ok, the devs wanted it to be a timed buff? Ok, this could be a special physick tear that took both slots. 3 mins buff seems too much? Well, let it be a unique use, like the physick flask, that restores at each "rest".

It's not even that I will stock them through playthroughs, I will literally forget that this exist. Just imagine using this and getting one shotted because you got stuck on bad terrain geometry...

                                                            • Anonymous

How long until all pc players spawn this with cheat engine or duping (like they did in DS3 with the siegbraus, divine blessings and the super weeds)? This is a MAJOR duel breaking buff.

They should make this reusable. I don't want to accidentally use up the item that puts me in the Fia's champions pool. (I'm trying to see if I can fight myself in other people's worlds) Though, if it turns out I don't need this, or I need another items as well...

                                                                            • Anonymous

                                                                              • A Consumable 1-Time Use Item, with a 70 seconds Effect, that you can only Obtain ONCE every Playthrough.

Maybe make this a semi-permanent consumable like the Physick? You can still only use one per engagement that way, but you don't lose it permanently as soon as you use it. Balancing it could be an issue, but meh.

                                                                                  • Anonymous

What a wise decision to add such a powerful item as a single-use consumable. I'm sure all the cheating/duping lardlords will love this one...

                                                                                    • Anonymous

This item should have been a 'once per Grace rest' consumable like the Physick.

That would have stopped it from being spammed in co-op/PvP and felt like a much better reward.

                                                                                      • Anonymous

The thing about this one-time-use blessing is that it's actually something you're supposed to use while fighting Fortissax as, unlike other fight against dragon, you can't use Torrent on that one. With that said, most people who reaches this part usually already have the gears and levels (stats) to kick that Lichdragon's butt so it's more of a trophy item than anything else.

                                                                                        • Anonymous

I think From just gave us this as a momento from fia, an item with a special description for us to read and get little feels from. It would be cool though if it actually were reusable somehow, and would make a fine reward for completing fias questline.

                                                                                          • Anonymous

I take a radiant blessing is bestowed when the Companion is willing to do it, and the normal blessings imply the deathbed companions are forced to do what they do. Also explains Fia being cast out for waking up

                                                                                            • Anonymous

The grand problem with this item is that it is, for player practicality, totally useless from a pure player perspective without scouring through guides.
The average player will either consume it out of curiosity to see what it does and not put much past that thought - or use it against a really hard boss and lose in the extended battle, never to get the buff again in that playthrough and ultimately forcing them to proceed without *actually* benefitting from the item. The entire jist is that it's a really strong baldachin's blessing without a debuff. That doesn't really make for a "once in a lifetime" item though, for a tarnished who can pop a rune arc whenever things get tough after learning a boss's attack patterns and demolish them. This is totally irrelevant in PVP beyond novelty since it's once per playthrough unless you're using cheat engine, so I won't even be mentioning that.

                                                                                              • Anonymous

I wonder if possessing this item allows your character to show up as one of Fia's Champions during that fight. Because the nameless NPC's are definitely too coordinated to be random.

                                                                                                • Anonymous

Pretty stupid to put such an op item in the game that can only be used once, unless you're a cheater. Then you can re-use this item each duel pretty much.
Hope they remove this item from the game or make it a physick tear or something.

Spawn it in with cheat engine and enjoy being able to outpoise literally everything.

So maybe this one gives you that small damage buff without the HP penalty?
