Step with the swiftness of a beast, leap high, and slash foe from above. Initial step can be taken forward, backward, left, or right. Strong attack allows for a follow-up attack.

Raging Beast is a Skill in Elden Ring. It was added with the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Raging Beast allows the user to quickly evade and then leap and slash from above. Raging Beast uses Keen Affinity and is usable on beast claws.
How to get Raging Beast in Elden Ring
- Ash of War: From the Bridge Leading to the Village Grace follow the path heading North. Once you get to the trees, keep looking east for a teleporting Teardrop Scarab that drops the item. [Map Link]

- This is an Ash of War Skill, associated with the Ash of War: Raging Beast
- FP Cost: 7 (7)
- Deals 6+10.5 stance damage
- This Skill is not Chargeable
- Key inputs change the direction for the evasion
- The evasion has 6 immediate invulnerability frames
- The follow-up is a leaping downwards slash.
NOTE: Patch 1.13: Decreased invulnerability window against other players's attacks.

AnonymousNot only is this ash brilliant for gap closing, but it makes you INCREDIBLY evasive. you can break lock-on after the lunge to reposition, the jump can evade certain attacks, and you STILL can possibly land the heavy followup if you lock back on. And that'd not even considering being able to circle dash behind people and swing back...
Combine that with the crazy movement on the beast claws' heavy attacks, heavy feint and backstep/feint followup attack, and you're INCREDIBLY hard to catch and very ambiguous as to when you're attacking. Incredibly awesome ash that makes the moveset even more savage

This skill describes me perfectly. I can't be tamed. I can't be controlled. When I see red you better watch out, because this "Raging Beast" is a true monster.

Does anyone know if this is boosted by jump attack boosts like claw talisman or raptors black feathers?

Bloodhound step goes further on light equip loads than on medium equip loads. Does this go further on light equip loads as well?
