This weapon is so damn odd when you think about it. Considering that Pages don’t use shortbows and prefer a crossbow. Normally enemies drop weapons you see them using. Cut content perhaps? Such a curious weapon, and it’s very fun to use too.

Got one randomly on a new build that was conveniently dex at tombsward first try the other day. I wasn’t trying for it… just passing on my flask upgrade run. Vindicated me because I have farmed for this thing on other characters so I have felt pain.

I understand that light bows are supposed to be smaller, but jeez, it looks like a freaking toy bow you get for your five year old!
This is the best Light Bow in the game for Dex or Balanced Str/Dex users. It has a little less damage than the Misbegotten Shortbow but weighs 0.5 less, and the Range of 29 as opposed to the Misbegotten's 25 more than makes up for a little less base damage.
If you are a Str purist the only Light Bow worth your consideration is the Misbegotten, UNLESS you literally only use a bow to pull ranged enemies, in which case you should check out the Harp Bow, which hits like a wet noodle, but weighs the least.

It also drops at the academy of Raya Lucaria from the one pulley crossbow wielding guy in the hall after dropping down from getting the 2nd glintstone key

The one from tombsward ruins have a ash of war on them. That's why a very rare drop.

Wanted to see if there was a better shortbow than the starter or the Composite, and found this beauty. Came South Caelid really early, around lv45. With only 115 discovery, I thought farming this was going to be ***** of a grind, but I got this to drop from the Page at Redmane around the 6th or 7th try. Makes me just as happy as my early Flamberge drop in DS3.

Confirming I got the drop from the lone High Page (fire crossbow guy) in the hallway before Azur's Glintstone Staff, above the Church of the Cuckoo grace in Raya Lucaria Academy.

Had this drop from an assassin near the beginning of the capital city (passed the snowman and up the stairs). He also dropped page hood.

I'm pretty sure this can drop from any Page, not just specific ones. Considering it works in Caria Manor and one of the Hero Graves.
